Question 1

Emma Stone

She’s America’s Sweetheart. You know it. I know it. Emma Stone has a girl-next-door down-to-earth quality that most of the idol-esque starlets lack. She seems attainable and accessible despite the fact that she, of course, isn’t. But hey, if she’s willing to go out with Andrew Garfield, anybody has a chance, right?

Question 2

Amber Heard

She’s going to be Mera in Aquaman. I don’t know if she has the character’s imposing temperament, but a boy can dream. Either way, Heard is the perfect example of the Blonde Bombshell. Heard made her debut in Friday Night Lights—the decent movie, not the excellent show. She was also the lead in All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, so if you’re in the mood for a great horror movie…watch something else.

Question 3

Scarlett Johansson

Remember when she played Silken Floss in “The Spirit”? Oof. That was a rough one. It was probably her worst role. Her best, however, was playing Barbara in largely forgotten film Don Jon. Alexandra Daddario

Now, if you can forgive her roles in Logan Paul’s Summer Saga and Texas Chainsaw 3D, you’ll notice Alexandra Daddario’s unmatched blue eyes and, well, everything else about her. But it turns out she can actually act too. No, we’re not talking about Baywatch. She had a small role in True Detective season 1. Sure, she played something of a love interest, but the role gave her the opportunity to show range. Do more roles like that.

Question 6

Gal Gadot

I have to admit, as beautiful as she is, I didn’t see Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Turns out, however, she can act after all. Thank god. Gadot has translated both Diana Prince’s elegance and her strength. Her beauty is important, of course, but compassion was key and she had that by the truckload.

Question 7

Eva Green

eva-green-sexy-wallpaper-4

Given her darkly lit and equally dark characters, Eva Green has been called “goth” quite a bit. As someone who loves noir, however, I would love to see her play some roles in the genre. Between the smoky voice, conspiratorial smile and dangerous eyes, she is the modern noir moll that we didn’t know we needed.

Question 8

Naomi Scott

Naomi Scott

Let’s come right out and admit something: 2017’s Power Rangers was a good movie. Sure there was some gritty Christopher Nolan-ing going on, but it doesn’t undermine the characters or the franchise the way Nolan and Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel did. Just sayin’. Naomi Scott played Kimberly Hart in Power Rangers with an edge and energy that was modern but didn’t feel forced. Also, she’s hot.

Question 9

Tessa Thompson

Not to sound like a hipster, but I was telling people how hot Tessa Thompson was before she became famous. Back when she was starting out on Veronica Mars and prime-time soaps like Hidden Palms.
