Pick The Better Disney Song To Get A Character Twin!

These days it is nearly impossible to find someone who is not a Disney fan. From children to adults, there is something for everyone in these films. Their storylines are fun, while they also tend to teach us very important life lessons. Their characters are well-written, and fairly easy to relate to (even though a lot of them are princes and princesses). Even with all of these factors, there is still something else that makes these films stand out among the rest. We are of course talking about the music! Disney does song-and-dance numbers better than any other animation company out there. People everywhere are constantly streaming Disney playlists on streaming platforms like Spotify, and who can blame them?

So, does everyone here think they know Disney music? We are talking songs from just about every Disney film out there, not just a handful of the most popular ones. We are going to pit these classic songs against one another, and everyone will get to vote on which ones they believe to be the best. Once all of the results have been submitted, we are going to dish out Disney character twins to everyone! Get ready for a real magic carpet ride!

"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" VS "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"

Both of these songs may have been a little difficult to sing along to, but both were super important songs in their films. After all, who knows if Cinderella would have ever met her price if her night hadn't first been Bibbidi-Bobbidi-switched-around! What does everyone here think about these two nonsense songs?

Our Disney characters are nothing if not avid dreamers! "When You Wish Upon a Start" was the major hit from the film Pinocchio, and is often referred to as one of the very best Disney songs ever. "Once Upon a Dream" was not necessarily the most popular song in Sleeping Beauty, but it was certainly beautiful.

"Part of Your World" VS "A Whole New World"

Both of these songs represent taking risks, and discovering new adventures. Both Ariel, and Aladdin dreamed of living different lives than the ones they were born into, and these songs showed us just how certain they were about their destinies. "Beauty and the Beast" VS "Can You Feel the Love Tonight"

Both of these songs are very romantic. In fact both of them are still often selected by couples for the first dance at their weddings. "Beauty and the Beast" was played once Belle had finally realized everything she had ever wanted was right there in the castle with her. "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" was a beautiful song between Simba and Nala during their reunion.

"Let It Go" VS "Colors of the Wind"

Talk about a couple of uplifting songs! "Let It Go" is much newer than "Colors of the Wind", but both of them were instant classics as soon as they were released. While Elsa used her song to encourage everyone to finally let go of the past, Pocahontas used hers to teach us how important it is to cherish the planet we all share.

"I Just Can't Wait to Be King" VS "I'll Make a Man Out of You"

"I Just Can't Wait to Be King" was a super upbeat and fun song. The colorful dance number that went along with it, was possibly just as amazing as the song was it self. "I'll Make a Man Out of You" was a great pump-up song right in the middle of the Mulan film. Some of the other songs in the film were a bit slower, so this one really turned things around.

"Reflection" VS "Go The Distance"

"Reflection" was one of those slower songs from Mulan that we had just previously mentioned. While it may not have been as upbeat as some of the others, it was no doubt the most popular song of the film. "Go The Distance" was a motivational song, sang by Hercules as he realized his true destiny.

"Bare Necessities" VS "What's This?"

It is hard to even think Jungle Book, without automatically thinking "Bare Necessities". The song was sang by Baloo the bear, as he showed young Mowgli the ropes of jungle living. "What's This" is often forgotten about when thinking Disney songs, simply because people forget that The Nightmare Before Christmas was in fact a Disney film.

"Poor Unfortunate Souls" VS "Be Prepared"

Things are about to get wicked here in this villain mash-up. Ursula sang "Poor Unfortunate Souls" as she tried to persuade Ariel into signing her soul away (she was successful if anyone has forgotten). Scar sang his solo while he was recruiting the hyenas to be his right hands, as he took over Pride Rock.

"I Won't Say (I'm in Love)" VS "Someday My Prince Will Come"

Almost all of the leading Disney ladies were pretty hopeful that somewhere out there, there was a prince waiting for them. All except for Meg of course. Even after Meg found her man, she was too stubborn to accept it. Snow White, however, was one of the more optimistic Princesses from the Disney universe.

"Almost There" was a song from Princess and the Frog. Tiana sang this at the beginning of the film, and it explained just how close she finally was to her dream. "Belle" was sang by the townspeople of Belle's quiet home, as they discussed just how very different she was.

Now here is a fun pair! "Under the Sea" was a very impressive production, that Sebastian put on while trying to convince Ariel how much better life was under the waves. "Hakuna Matata" was the catchphrase, and song of Timon and Pumbaa. They sang this song while explaining their way of life to young Simba.

"Prince Ali" VS "Zero to Hero"

After Aladdin had made his first wish (to become a prince), Genie really came through. He did not only visually make Aladdin appear to be a prince, but he actually managed to put on an entire parade to showcase the new impressive Prince. "Zero to Hero" was sang by the muses in Hercules, just as he was becoming the man he had always dreamed of being.

"Just Around the Riverbend" VS "Do You Want To Build a Snowman"

Pocahontas sang "Just Around the Riverbend" as a way to express how much more exciting life was, when not being ordered around to do things like marry men just because they were strong. "Do You Want To Build a Snowman" became one of Frozen's most popular songs rather quickly. Princess Anna sang this to try and persuade her sister Elsa to play with her.

"One Jump Ahead" VS "When We're Human"

Poor Aladdin was just trying to feed himself and his pet monkey, when these guys showed up with their knives. Sure, he was stealing, but a man's gotta eat! "When We're Human" was sang by a couple of cursed frogs, who were dreaming of the day when they would be returned to their human forms.

"Jack's Lament" VS "Gaston"

"Jack's Lament" was a solo song performed by the Pumpkin King himself. He sang this song to express his need for something more than just Halloween in his life. "Gaston" was of course the song sang by LeFou, Gaston's trusty sidekick. LeFou sang this song to praise his mighty best-friend and leader. Which one was better?

"Be Our Guest" VS "I Wan'na Be Like You"

"Be Our Guest" is not a Disney song anyone is forgetting any time soon. In fact there is an entire restaurant at the Disney Parks completely dedicated to this song. "I Wan'na Be Like You" was also a fan favorite. It was sang in The Jungle Book, when the monkeys were explaining how they wanted to be more man-like.

Poor Mulan just wanted her family to understand that her dreams were bigger than just marrying some random man. However, after her family sang "Honor to Us All" she realized that was never going to happen. Princess Anna sang "For the First Time in Forever" when finally after so many years of being cooped up, the castle doors opened.

"Fixer Upper" was performed by everybody's favorite group of Rock Trolls. After Kristoff brought Princess Anna by to meet his family, this song was pretty much how they introduced themselves. "A Girl Worth Fighting For" was sang by the army of men in Mulan, while they all dreamed of returning from war to a beautiful woman.

Mother Gothel was no doubt one of the most wicked villains. In fact it is actually rumored that Mother Gothel, is the same witch that tried to curse Snow White (hopefully she has finally been dealt with for the last time). Governor Ratcliffe sang "Mine, Mine, Mine" as his boat landed on Pocahontas's land, and he prepared to mine it for gold.

Princess Anna sang "Love Is an Open Door" after meeting Prince Hans. Of course, she had no idea that he was ultimately trying to double-cross her.
