Pick Some Favorite MCU Moments To Get A Marvel Villain

From Black Panther to Avengers: Infinity War to Ant-Man and the Wasp -- this has certainly been quite the year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They've shattered multiple records at the box office and brought audiences their most ambitious movie to date, which found Earth's Mightiest Heroes teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to take on the Mad Titan Thanos.

But the more content they turn out the hungrier audiences seem to get for more Marvel movies. And, unfortunately, we're going to have to wait all the way until the spring of 2019 until we get our next installment of the MCU with Captain Marvel. But of course, most people are looking forward to the next Avengers movie, which will hopefully give us a more satisfying ending to the heroes' conflict against the franchise's biggest villain to date: Thanos.

While Thanos is certainly one of the most memorable villains, there have been plenty of baddies from movies past who deserve their fair share of recognition as well. And what better way to pass the time until 2019 than revisiting every MCU movie to date.

So it's time to do just that, and in the process, let's figure out which player is worthy enough of matching with some of the MCU's most formidable villains.

Question 1

What’s the best part of Iron Man?

The film that started it all, 2008’s Iron Man surpassed viewers expectations in nearly every way imaginable, as it took a lesser known hero and leading actor and turning them into one of the most influential movies of the decade. Question 2

What’s the best part of The Incredible Hulk?

The Incredible Hulk is often the forgotten child of the MCU. But the movie still has its fair share of standout moments. Which one is your favorite?

Question 3

What’s the coolest thing Loki’s ever done?

Up until Thanos arrived on the scene, Loki was easily the best villain the MCU had seen to date. This is mostly because the character actually stayed around for longer than one film — which is not something we can say about most Marvel villains, who often meet their demise just when they’re starting to get interesting.

Question 4

What’s the best part of Iron Man 2?

Often considered the weak link of the Iron Man trilogy, Iron Man 2 is one of the movies that was necessary for the future of the MCU. However, because it preoccupies itself with establishing a larger universe, some of the characters don’t get the attention they deserve, particularly the villain Whiplash.

Question 5

What’s the best part of Thor?

Until Thor: Ragnarok arrived in theaters last year, the Thor franchise was often regarded as the least appealing of the entire MCU. Maybe that’s simply because the overt fantasy elements feel at odds with the other films — which lean much closer to science fiction. Though that’s not to say it’s a bad movie by any means.

Question 6

What’s Thanos’s best moment to date?

Though Thanos has appeared in multiple MCU movies, before Infinity War, the character’s screen time was relegated to only a few short scenes. Luckily, the latest Avengers installment cast the Mad Titan as one of the story’s primary characters, giving us no shortage of iconic and menacing moments featuring Thanos.

Question 8

What’s the best part of The Avengers?

Only six short years later and it’s easy to forget how revolutionary a movie like The Avengers actually was. So what was the best moment?

Question 9

What’s the best part of Iron Man 3?

Question 10

What’s the most shocking villain reveal?

Though most times you can see who the villain is going to be a mile away, the MCU has fooled us when it comes to their antagonists on a number of occasions. For instance, who would’ve thought that the lovable Jeff Bridges could’ve been so menacing? Or that the Vulture was the father of Peter Parker’s high school crush?

Question 11

What’s the best part of Thor: The Dark World?

Often regarded as the worst movie in the MCU, Thor: The Dark World isn’t exactly a bad movie, it’s just extremely forgettable. The look of the film is also a lot bleaker than other MCU installments.

Question 12

What’s the best part of Captain America: The Winter Soldier?

Where The First Avenger succeeds in being a war movie, The Winter Soldier also succeeds in being a spy flick. This was a solid installment for Steve Rogers second solo outing, which found him facing a ghost from his past: his best friend Bucky Barnes, who has since been brainwashed into becoming an assassin.

Question 13

What’s Black Widow’s most memorable moment?

It’s astounding that Black Widow has not been given a solo movie of her own yet. Thankfully, a movie is currently in the works. It’s just a shame they couldn’t get it off the ground sooner.

Question 14

What’s the best part of Guardians of the Galaxy?

Guardians of the Galaxy was another film that shook up the MCU in a major way. The movie also had its own off-beat sense of humor.

Question 15

What’s the best part of Avengers: Age of Ultron?

But the film certainly still has it’s fair share of entertaining moments.

Question 16

What’s the best part of Ant-Man?

While Ant-Man and the Wasp is the freshest movie in the minds of MCU fans, let’s think back to the movie that started the franchise. Question 18

What’s the best part of Captain America: Civil War?

Often ranked amongst the best MCU movies, Captain America: Civil War massively shook up the superhero franchise by having the Avengers split into two opposing factions. Question 26

What’s the coolest villain transformation?

And Ant-Man and the Wasp is certainly no exception.
