There are about a million different reasons why we love to watch television. After a long hard day at the office, it allows us an easy and brief escape into another world. There are all kinds of different shows and characters we can invest our time in, and it really does feel relaxing to deal with the drama of these characters instead of our own for a moment. That being said, there is still another important reason why we watch. We are of course talking about the extremely attractive cast members. Today we will be taking a closer look at some of the particularly handsome characters we have seen over the years.

Today's quiz is all about honoring the amazing hunks that television has given us. They exist in all kinds of television genres. Whether we like the drama, the comedy, or the action, there is a hunk out there for all of us. Today we will be listing some of the more notable TV hunks one by one. Everyone is going to get the opportunity to "pick or pass" on each one. Once we have an idea of everyone's taste, we will be able to dish out some truly handsome television characters to everyone!

Conrad Hawkins (The Resident)

This surgeon is very talented, and he certainly knows it. While his skills are common knowledge around his hospital, he isn't exactly the most popular guy on the surgical floor. In a show with three leading male characters, Marshall Eriksen still manages to stick out. Of course this may be because he is 6 foot 3, but it could also be due to the fact that he is just too adorable! His character is in love with Lilly. Jack Pearson (This Is Us)

Jack Pearson is widely known for being one of television's best fathers of all time. In the show This Is Us, we see Jack Pearson and his wife preparing to have triplets. We get to see specific scenes of them raising their children, and we also get a glimpse into their futures. Jack is no longer around in the future focused scenes, but when he is there, he really does steal the show. Do we have any Jack Pearson fans?

Barry Allen is no ordinary TV character. When he was just a boy, he witnessed something that changed his life forever. His mother was gone, and his father was wrongly locked away for the crime. Fast forward a few years, Barry is now a crime scene investigator, determined to find out the truth about what happened all those years ago. Oh, and he is also the fastest guy in the entire world! Shaun Murphy (The Good Doctor)

Here we have our second surgeon. While they both may have the some profession, Shaun murphy is nothing like Conrad Hawkins at all. Shaun Murphy is by far the youngest surgeon to ever work at his hospital. If that did not already make him stand out, he is also autistic. He has trouble connecting with humans on a emotional level, but he certainly knows how to cure them if they are ill. How do we feel about this young doctor?

Dwight Schrute (The Office)

Okay so we realize that Dwight may not be a hunk in the most traditional sense, but not everyone out there spent 9 seasons dreaming about Jim. It seems only fair to include Dwight for all of the Angela's out there. Dwight has an over the top kind of personality. He takes things like safety and paper sales extremely seriously, and he does not have much patiences for things like practical jokes. Is there anyone here who thinks Dwight is a solid pick?

Joe Goldberg (You)

Alright so this one is a little weird. Joe is not exactly the type of guy anyone should be actively looking for, but for the purpose of this question, lets base this one strictly off of his looks. Before we knew everything we do now about Joe, he was just a cute guy working in a book shop. He was not at all creepy, but he was actually kind of sweet and charming. Ben Wyatt (Parks and Recreation)

There is something to be said about a man who always tells the truth. When Ben first arrived in Pawnee, he was there to evaluate their government funds and he had no intention of keeping the parks department running. Of course his plan eventually changed as he fell in love with the leader of the parks department, but he was always completely honest with her about both their relationship and their work. How is everyone feeling about Sir Benjamin Wyatt?

Jeff Winger (Community)

Jeff is not exactly the most honest guy around town. For starters he is a lawyer by trade. If that was not already teeling enough, he also faked his way through law school. Now he has been totally busted, and he is heading back to community college to make up his missing credits. This may not make him seem like a huge catch, but his new school friends seem to be pretty good influences on him! What do we think about Jeff?

Derek Shepherd (Grey's Anatomy)

Here we have the leading man of the show Grey's Anatomy. Before Derek's passing, he was one of the world's top neurosurgeons. He worked out of Seattle, but patients from all over the globe would fly in just to have him as their doctor. Derek was also a loving husband and father. He may not have been perfect, but his hair certainly always was. Any fans of this show know he was the true hunk of the series. Pick or pass?

Mark Sloan (Grey's Anatomy)

Since Grey's Anatomy is pretty well known for their very attractive cast, we figured we would sneak a second one in here. Mark Sloan was an extremely successful plastic surgeon. He was childhood best friends with the previously discussed Derek Shepherd, and he was actually in love with the younger sister of Derek's wife. Sadly like Derek, Mark is no longer with us, but his memory will live on forever. How is everyone feeling about the leader of the Plastics Pose?

Jesse Pinkman (Breaking Bad)

Jesse Pinkman was not exactly living an ideal life when his story on television first began. To be honest, he wasn't really living an ideal life by the end of his story either, but his final episode certainly was a powerful one. Jesse was involved in all kinds of bad business. He trusted the wrong people, and found himself in over his head. Even through all of this though, Jesse kept his good heart. Is he a favorite hunk of anyone's?

Archie Andrews (Riverdale)

So this Archie Andrews is a tad bit different than the one we used to read about in the comics. In season 1 of Riverdale, Archie was a pretty standard teenager, just trying to juggle as many things as possible. He wanted to play football and pursue his musical interests, but that's a lot for one kid to manage. These days Archie has found himself in all kids of trouble, but luckily his buddies Betty, Veronica, and Jughead are always around to help him out.

Jon Snow (Game of Thrones)

There is no denying that Game of Thrones has been one of the most popular television series of all time. That being said, the show doesn't have all that many hunks still playing active roles. Jon Snow is no doubt the dream boat of the series at this point. He was once the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, and he has since been titled the King of the North. Now we are all just waiting to see what he's got up his sleeve for the new season!

For those who did not show much interest in Dwight, maybe Jim is more your type? Jim Halpert is the funny guy in his office. Ari Gold is known for being one of Hollywood's best agents, but he is equally known for his aggressive behavior and his inability to talk without cursing. Barney Stinson is our second leading man from the series How I Met Your Mother. Even though Marshall and Barney are best friends, they could not be anymore different. Barney is all about the suits. Throughout 9 seasons, he was seen without a suit maybe only a couple of times. Barney is also known for being quite the ladies man (honestly, that is putting it nicely). He may not be the most respectable guy in town, but can we still call him a hunk?

Charlie lives in a small apartment, which he shares with the father of his friends. Best to keep that in mind when selecting a choice for him...

Danny Castellano is a doctor living in Manhattan. Already sounds like quite a catch doesn't he? He was born and raised in Staten Island, and he still regularly goes back to see his mother. Danny has one young son named Leo, but his relationship status is usually up in the air. He is a man of habit for sure, but when he is with the right woman, he has proven himself to be flexible. How are we feeling about Dr. Danny Castellano?

Harvey Specter (Suits)

Harvey Specter is one of New York City's top lawyers. After he was promoted to senior partner at his law firm, he decided to go out and hire Mike Ross as his associate. Mike of course did not have a law degree, but he was smart enough to not need one. Harvey actually like the fact that Mike was not technically a "legal hire". Harvey enjoys living on the edge a bit, and hiring Mike certainly made his life a bit more interesting.

Captain Hook was not part of the original cast of fairytale creatures we met in season one of this series. He came around a bit later, but he quickly cemented himself in as a main character. He can usually be seen sporting his pirate look, even when walking around in our world. He tends to go back and forth from being a hero and being a bad guy, but his heart is usually in the right place. Pick or pass?

Here we have yet another doctor. J.D is the main character of the show Scrubs. For 8 years J.D worked at the same hospital as a doctor of medicine, but he has since left that job behind to become closer to his son. He now works as a residency director at a different hospital. A while back he married his long time work-friend Elliot, and he has been best friends with the same man for as long as we have known him.

After finding out that his brother had been locked away for a crime he did not commit, Michael decided it was his duty to break him out. Obviously this was no easy task. Michael had to create his plan while still living on the outside, but then find a way to incarcerate himself to be able to pull it off from the inside of the prison. Now that is brotherly love!

Nick Miller (New Girl)

Nick Miller may not be the most matured man on the block, but he is pretty hilarious. He works as a bartender and he lives with a few of his buddies. He has been in love with his only female roommate for years, but due to his lack of maturity, he hasn't really been able to make things work with her. Still, most of us are holding onto to the hope that they will manage to find their happily ever after.

So Ross Geller is not exactly known for being one of television's more notable hunks, but his name has certainly become a household one. The show Friends ran for 10 seasons, so most of us did get to know Ross pretty well. He is a paleontologist and he lives in New York City. He has been married and divorced three times, but he still remains hopefully that his soulmate is out there. He has one daughter and he has a close relationship with his sister.

Jim Gordon is a detective who has just returned to his hometown Gotham to start working. Once arriving back in Gotham, Jim discovered things were not exactly how he had remembered them. The entire city is now being run by the bad guys, so a good detective may just be what the locals need. However, the bad guy kingpins are not just going to let him ruin all of their fun that easily. Jim definitely has his work cut out for him.

Joey Tribbiani (Friends)

Joey Tribbiani was no doubt the most obvious hunk from the show Friends. He was an out of work actor for the majority of the show, although he did have a brief spell as a regular on the show Days of Our Lives. While he was never the most successful, he always did the best with the ladies. Joey was all kinds of cute and charming. If there was one thing Joey enjoyed more than the ladies, it would have to be food.
