Who isn't ready for a luxurious vacation? Exactly. How can anyone say no, especially when the word 'luxurious' gets thrown into the mix? But sometimes, just sometimes, the hardest part is trying to decide where to go. Honestly, a vacation is a vacation no matter where it is. Some even prefer the "stay-cation." That's right, home can be just as fun and relaxing as any theme park or tropical destination. Think about it: no lines for the bathroom and that midday break can be in the comfort of an extremely familiar EZ chair. And, make no mistake, hotels are nice, even great sometimes. But, there's nothing like sleeping in one's own bed and having one's own shower.
Then again, for some of us, taking a vacation means getting away from the everyday and the familiar. Sometimes that's the whole point. Sometimes we need that climate change or just that change of surroundings. "Enough ice and snow! I need sun and sand!" In the end, that's the beauty of 'vacationing.' All we really want is some time to kick back and relax. Maybe it's in the comfort of home, maybe it's somewhere else, where someone else comes in to turn down the bed. That's what makes this quiz so simple. All there is to do is to simply go through the list of movies and 'PICK' one. Or, 'PASS' on it. Either way, we're going to take the guesswork out of it all. Choose a preference and in the end, we'll decide an appropriate vacation destination. Enjoy!
Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring: PICK or PASS
The message is pretty much in the title. It's a movie about fellowship and about friendship. It's not just about knowing the right thing to do; it's about being able to make the choice and to stick with it. It's a passage. It's about friendship and dedication. Frodo is fortunate enough to have his friends, his true friends, there with him. It's their support and encouragement that helps to give him the strength he needs to see things through.
Finding Nemo: PICK or PASS
Nemo's just a kid. And what kid doesn't feel the need to rebel against their parents at some point. At least once. Only he got caught. Well, caught in a net. Caught in a net then into the boat, and then into the aquarium. But, luckily, he found some new friends; good friends, who were ready and willing to help him get home and get back to his Dad.
Ratatouille: PICK or PASS
We all have dreams, big dreams or small dreams. In this case, Remy is a little guy (or rat) with big dreams. He has great aspirations of one day becoming a great chef. But rats and restaurants don't exactly go together. Ho-hum, what's an ambitious rodent to do? He does what most heroes do in a situation like that. He finds a way. No matter how crazy it may sound.
Shrek: PICK or PASS
"Shrek" is such an awesome new twist on the whole idea of a fairy tale and how it's told. But, that's the great thing. It's not just a fairy tale. It's an original story; one about love, friendship and understanding. And patience. Because anyone who's ever been in love or had friends, knows that you need a lot of patience for both.
Cars: PICK or PASS
There really aren't that many of us out there anymore who would think of a leisurely drive along ol' Route 66. Lightning McQueen never gave it a second thought, but things sure got a lot better once he learned to just slow down for a while and take his time, or 'smell the roses' if you will. Sometimes that's just what any of us need.
La La Land: PICK or PASS
So many of us have great aspirations of what we'd truly love to do with our lives. And, so fortunate are those who get to make a living doing the very thing that they love to do. And that's exactly where Mia and Sebastian are in this great film. They've both taken the first big step and traveled to the land where all our dreams can actually come true!

This is a story of a man who defined the words confidence, determination, and an iron-clad will to live. Confidence can be an amazing thing. It can help to define us and shape us and make us who we are. But if we're not careful, over-confidence can also be our downfall. Well, that and simple, careless mistakes. But, it was Aron Ralston's will to live that kept him alive and saved him in the end.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: PICK or PASS
The continuing story of a nation of genetically evolved apes and their leader, known as Caesar. Despite the threat of a devastating plague, there are still small, groups of human survivors. In this chapter, Caesar continues to try and keep a fragile peace with the humans, while at the same time, teach peace and understanding to his own kind and keep both sides from reaching the brink of war.
Inception: PICK or PASS
Dom Cobb is a professional and extremely skilled thief, who steals corporate secrets and plans, not by breaking into people's homes, but into their subconscious through the use of a concept known as "dream-sharing" technology. Now, instead of stealing an idea, Dom is tasked with the job of implanting an idea into the mind of a big shot CEO without him knowing.
Black Panther: PICK or PASS
After the catastrophic events that occurred during "Captain America: Civil War," T'Challa returns home to Wakanda to take his rightful place as King. Shortly after his return T'Challa finds that there are already some who question his ways and dissension begins among some of his people. And he is being challenged for the throne. Wakanda's new king must find a way to restore his kingdom to peace, before it become just another war torn country.
True Grit: PICK or PASS
Young Mattie Ross's father is offed by one of their own hired hands. Mattie seeks justice and hires the toughest U.S. Marshall she can find, Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn. However, because of Rooster's heavy substance drinking and generally lackadaisical attitude, Mattie insists on accompanying him and they are later joined by Texas Ranger LaBoeuf.
Madagascar: PICK or PASS
So "Madagascar" might've been just another one of those "take the kids to" kind of movies. But, as DreamWorks so often does, audiences were pleasantly surprised by the fresh humor and sharp wit of all four of the main characters. Another great animated story about friendship, forgiveness, and perseverance. Not to mention the two sequels and those lovable penguins.
Jurassic World: PICK or PASS
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, er, wait, wrong Spielberg movie. Just when you thought we'd seen the last of the dinosaurs and the foolish maneuvers of scientists, geneticists and their wack-a-doo theories... along comes "Jurassic World," another brilliant installment from Steven Spielberg and Michael Crichton.
Gravity: PICK or PASS
Brilliant medical engineer, Dr, Ryan Stone (on her first shuttle mission) and veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski find themselves on a seemingly routine space walk when the shuttle is suddenly destroyed. Now, it's up to the two of them to try and get to another satellite, with what little equipment they still have on hand and then ultimately find a way to get back to Earth.
Room: PICK or PASS
"Room" is a psychological, dramatic thriller about a loving and devoted mother and her five year old son, Jack. Seven years ago, 'Ma' was abducted by 'Old Nick' and locked inside a 10 x 10 tool shed, of which only Old Nick knows the combination for. But, as Jack's curiosity and suspicion grows, Ma realizes they'll soon have to enact a risky plan of escape.
The Grand Budapest Hotel: PICK or PASS
"The Grand Budapest Hotel" is the story of the many adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous hotel from the fictional Republic of Zubrowka. The film takes place between the first and second World Wars. Zero Moustafa, is the lobby boy who becomes Gustave's best and most trusted friend.
Manchester By the Sea: PICK or PASS
Lee Chandler, is a sullen, lonely, and frustrated handyman. When he receives news that his older brother Joe has passed away after suffering a heart attack, he is shocked to discover that he's going to be Patrick's (his nephew) guardian. As Lee and Patrick struggle to adjust to a new lifestyle, Lee must confront his tormented past that separated him from the small town where he grew up.

Midnight in Paris: PICK or PASS
Gil and Inez travel to Paris as a tag-along vacation with her parents. Gil is a successful Hollywood writer but is struggling with his first novel. He falls in love with the city and thinks they should move there. But, Inez does not share his romantic notions. When Inez goes off dancing with her friends, Gil takes a walk at midnight and discovers what could be the ultimate source of inspiration for writing.
Beasts of the Southern Wild: PICK or PASS

Temperatures rise, ice caps melt, and an army of prehistoric creatures called aurochs are released.
Rango: PICK or PASS
Rango is a pet chameleon, always on the lookout for action and adventure. But just the fake kind, where he's in control of it. After a car accident, he winds up in an old western town called Dirt. What the town needs is water, but they also need a hero. The thirsty Rango instantly takes on the role and selfishly agrees to take on the case of their missing water as well.

On their journey, they make many new friends including a talking dog. But, someone has evil plans. Will they be able to defeat the evildoer and find Paradise Falls?
Brooklyn: PICK or PASS
Eilis Lacey is a young woman who works in a grocery shop and has greater ambitions and moves to Brooklyn, New York. Things are going well, but then she learns that her sister, Rose, has passed. Before Eilis returns to Ireland, she and her boyfriend, Tony, hastily get married and then she sets off back to Ireland, alone. Life is about to get very complicated.
Avatar: PICK or PASS
On the lush world of Pandora, live the Na'vi, aliens who appear primitive but are highly evolved. Because the planet's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, must link to human minds. Jake Sully is a paralyzed former Marine, who becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love. Unfortunately, he is also drawn into a battle for the survival of their world.
Up in the Air: PICK or PASS
Ryan Bingham's job is to fly around the country, firing people. And he's good at it. His routine is interrupted by the arrival of Natalie Keener, who thinks the travel is unnecessary and the firings can be done through videoconferencing. Ryan's boss loves the idea, but wants Ryan to take Natalie on the road with him to show her how he does it. It proves to be a life lesson for Natalie after one of her counseling sessions goes wrong.

Blended: PICK or PASS
After a blind date gone wrong, Jim (Adam Sandler) and Lauren (Drew Barrymore) agree they never, ever want to see each other again. Except, that's all about to change when the two find themselves, along with their respective families (including the children, too) all stuck together in one suite at a beautiful and luxurious African Safari vacation spot.
Slumdog Millionaire: PICK or PASS
What a unique story; and what a creative way to tell it?! "Slumdog Millionaire" was not only a tale of trials and of triumphs, but it's also a wonderfully told love story. Like so many films about inspiration, this one takes us on an amazing journey through one young man's entire life (so far). And, it's not only about trying to find a way back to the girl that he loves, but about hoping against hope that she loves him, too.
The Blind Side: PICK or PASS
This particular movie is the story of Michael Oher, a homeless black teen, drifting in and out of school systems for years. Then, Leigh Anne Tuohy and her husband, Sean Tuohy, take him in. They eventually become the boy's legal guardians, transforming both his life and theirs. Michael's tremendous size and protective nature make him a dominating presence on the football field, and with help from his new family, he realizes his potential as both a student and football player.
Thor: PICK or PASS
Thor is a whole other kind of hero all his own, having come from Norse mythology to begin with. But that, in no way, makes him any less popular. Captain America may have the military know-how, and Iron Man may have the money AND the brains, but... let's face it: Thor has the brawn. And we love him for it!
Minions: PICK or PASS
"Ever since the dawn of time, the Minions have lived to serve the most despicable of masters." From the T-Rex to Napoleon, the easily distracted and blindly obedient tribe has followed even the baddest of villains. Now, we get to travel along with Kevin, Stuart, and lovable Bob on a global road trip in search of a new master, while also saving all of Minionkind from annihilation.
Hot Tub Time Machine: PICK or PASS
Adam, Lou, Nick, and Adam's nephew Jacob, go to a winter resort that was their old party place. It's now a dump, but the guys rally for a night of drinking in the hot tub. Somehow, the magical hot tub takes them back to 1986, on a fateful night for each of them. Maybe, just maybe... if they do everything the same way they did that night, they'll get back to the future so Jacob can be born.
Man of Steel: PICK or PASS
He's Superman. All he wants to do is fight for truth and justice. He wants to fight for what is right. He brings out the best in all of us. Yet, some still resist; some still choose to oppose him and what he stands for. Perhaps good can't exist without evil. But, fear not. Because this is what Superman does. He lives to save the day. And he's the best at what he does.
Black Swan: PICK or PASS
