It’s that time again, friends: time to plan our future weddings. Maybe we want an outdoor beach wedding? Or maybe a more traditional venue is in the cards. Whatever we decide location-wise, there’s one thing that we absolutely don’t want to compromise on. This is the thing that will stay with us for the rest of our lives, and will be immortalized in every single wedding photo. No, it’s not the person we’re marrying. It’s the wedding dress. Couples might split up, but that dress will be around forever.
That’s why we need to be sure that we’re getting the right one. The right wedding dress makes us feel confident. It supports us, and tells us that we can walk down that aisle. A wedding dress should fit like an old glove, but look like a million dollars. If it’s not doing that, then don’t buy it. With all those options out there, though, it can be really difficult to figure out which one is right for us. At the end of the day, only the wearer of the dress can really be sure about what to wear. That doesn’t mean we can’t help a little, though. The Warm Brown Glow
Warm brown glows are becoming more and more popular. We see this color popping up as we scroll through those makeup hashtags, and we’re starting to realize that it’s for a good reason. Some folks look great in neutral tones, but not everyone can pull off the same shades. Warm browns are more versatile than pinks, which might be why they’re becoming so popular!
The Super Smokey Style
Okay, we’re all for a smokey eye, but this is next level smokey. This is almost more of a smudge than a feathering out of the color, which is the hallmark of a good smokey eye. The strong black can be very obvious on some faces, making the smokey eye more of a miss than a hit for some makeup lovers.

Double the makeup means double the wear, right? The top half of this face looks like it’s ready for a job interview or casual night out with friends. The style of it is gorgeous, and totally makes sense for those that are looking for a more casual makeup look. Plus, peachy tones are usually a hit, no matter what tone we’re working with.
These Fresh Freckles
It might not look like it gets a lot of flack, but this is a makeup look that actually has received a little bit of backlash. For those that don’t know, fake freckles are an actual thing. All those folks who tried to cover up their spots when they were younger might be shaking their heads right now. Instead of covering freckles, people are using makeup to add them!
The Natural Style
Something that we keep coming across in our internet travels is this idea of the “no makeup look”. Don’t be mistaken: it’s not wearing no makeup. People are still wearing makeup, but trying to achieve a look that’s akin to not wearing makeup. Wild and wacky? Maybe to some. We personally see nothing wrong with enhancement; but we won’t call it “no makeup”.

What is happening here. Can anyone explain this look to us? It’s definitely dramatic, and we totally see why it would be created. In the right circumstance this style could make quite a statement, especially with the bold brow trend that’s happening right now. But for a wedding? This might have to be a pass.

If we thought the last one was an eyebrow-raiser, we were wrong. This is a look that’s raising all of our eyebrows. Just look at them! Who would have thought that delicate flowers would work in the bushy gardens of our eyebrows. On one hand, we actually really like this look. Who doesn’t like glitter? Honestly, glitter is one of the things that makes us happy, no matter what’s going on in our life. Glitter might get everywhere, but we don’t dislike it. Neon is another old trend that’s really seen a revamp. This past summer we couldn’t help but come across neon eyeliner tutorials, neon lipstick looks, and general neon eyeshadows lining the lids of many. While it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, those that pull it off really and truly rock it.

This is a different kind of smokey eye that we looked at before. Some smokey eyes (especially those that might not be as practiced) tend to look like someone rubbed their face half-heartedly with a makeup wipe and left the house anyway. This classic and chic smokey eye is different, though, as it’s done really very well.
The Light And Airy
Like a little fairy that’s dancing across the snow, light and airy looks are always a hit; especially in the winter season. Some people might go ahead and grab their dark lipsticks to usher in the cold weather. Some, though, take the other approach. We go straight to the highlighter and dewy skin. After all, it’s all about the moisturizing in winter, right?

This is a bold look that’s surprisingly easy to pull off. It’s not just for those goth or Halloween styles anymore, even though we might still see it most often at the end of October. Kylie Jenner lips are a product unto themselves, which means that her makeup style can officially be considered a look unto itself. We’ve never quite mastered the over-lining effect that gives Kylie her signature pout, but maybe that’s a good thing.

The stronger the highlight the better, right? When we purchase a highlight, we’re looking for a couple of things. First, we want it to be bright. Like, see-it-from-space bright. Next, we want to be able to pair it with a few different looks. Blue highlighter might be fun, but we can’t wear it with everything. Finally, we want a highlight that will last. That’s how we pick our highlighters.

She taught everyone how to get her signature bronzed glow, which was perfect for all of our summer adventures. The sun might be disappearing for a lot of us, but that doesn’t mean our bronzer has to!

No, this isn’t a unicorn. It is, however, pretty magical, and a look that we wish we could pull off. This is a mix up of all our favorite colors, placed on one gorgeous face. We’ve often dreamed of being able to wear all our favorite makeup colors at once. With this style it seems like we can!

Just because the dress-up holiday is over doesn’t mean we have to wash off our makeup. After all, we’re mermaids all year round; not just in October. This makeup style makes us think of shimmering oceans and far away adventures. It’s pretty and slick, making it the best match for all those water lovers.

One of the most visible makeup looks in a star’s job is their red carpet looks. Not only do we see them putting their best foot forward, but we also see them dressing to impress. Real talk, it’s not only at halloween that folks go ahead and embrace their skeletons-and-pumpkins side. This darker style is a fresh take on the “goth” look. Everyone can picture what we mean: black lipstick, black hair, and thick eyeliner. This style is a little bit softer, and maybe even a little more versatile too.

People seem to be really into the dewy look lately, and we don’t blame them. Everyone wants healthy skin, especially if it means we wouldn’t have to wear so much makeup all the time. We personally love the fact that dewy skin is in. Finally, all our moisturizers and glow drops are going to come in handy!

Remember when we talked about dewy skin? It’s not just the skin that we want to glow. Highlighter is an essential step for most of us in our makeup routines, and for reasons just like this photo. Beautiful smooth skin with a subtle glow to it. Highlight is bringing out that amazing bone structure, and we seriously can’t get enough of the color palette. Now this is an everyday amazing look!
The Rainbow Rockstar
It’s like KISS met My Little Pony. The rainbow and glitter is reminiscent of magical horses, but the design that it’s done makes us think more about those rockers than anything else. We love the look, and wish that there were more reasons to wear it. Not to worry; summer is just around the corner, right?
The Real No Makeup Look
No makeup should mean no makeup. Going natural is good for the skin, as well as for our sanity sometimes. It can take a whole lot of time and effort to put on a full face of makeup everyday. If we’re not in the mood for it, we’re not in the mood for it. That’s okay. Don’t feel embarrassed if the best makeup is no makeup. Sometimes that’s how we feel too.
