There used to be a bit of a stigma regarding country music since the stereotypical style of this music genre usually revolved around someone's dog running away or a marriage falling apart. Yet, country music has definitely evolved over the years and it's included a number of different styles that all seem to roll into one country music genre. Nowadays, some of the biggest artists in country music can be found on pop radio stations and some of the hit songs are hardly even considered stereotypical country music.
On top of country music really evolving to include far more different sounds, the stars in country music are often considered some of the entertainment industry's biggest names. A great example is how so many reality singing competition shows have included big names in the world of country music and it's helped them to become hugely successful television personalities.
