There are a lot of actors out there, people who have dedicated their lives to a genuine craft as they believe that they have a talent and a passion that is worth following throughout their lives and never giving up on. That being said, there are also those who do it because they know they can get a lot of fame and money while they're at it. We wanted to make a quiz that gave people the chance to have their say on which actors are great and which aren't.
Yes, we want people to either pick or pass on various actors that we've pulled together and put in this quiz. Once people have answered this quiz for us, we can use this information to see if they truly think like a genius, or whether they are more street smart.
So, are people ready to have their say on which of these actors deserve the love and the ones that we need to start collectively passing on? We want to see which people think like a genius and which of us are more like the average person.
Amy Poehler
This woman has been working in comedy for years at this point, but the international fame came once she did her thing on the TV show Parks And Recreation. She has shown up in a variety of television shows and films, which is proof that she can show her comedic chops around anywhere!
Andy Samberg
Working as both an actor and a musician has shown that he never wants to stop, always putting his work first because it's what he loves to do! It's good to know that there are still passionate people out there who want to show the world what they have to offer.
Isla Fisher
Fisher made it big by appearing in a couple of movies around a decade or so ago, in movies like Wedding Crashers. She has since gone on to become an internet hit, with many people following her on Twitter due to the fact that she has proven herself to be very funny!

This guy probably wasn't very well known by a lot of people outside of showbiz until he made his appearance in The Dark Knight. He is also known for Thank You For Smoking, a movie that showed him at his charming but unpleasant best!
Adam Sandler
At first, this man found his way onto the stage and did a lot of stand-up comedy to laughing audiences, but he decided this wasn't enough. He moved onto the big screen, taking part in major movies, and is now both writing and starring in movies, mainly on Netflix.
Adam Scott
After working on Parks And Recreation, this guy was put in front of an international audience for his acting talent. However, before that he had taken roles in various television shows and movies, but usually taking more of a backseat than he did in Parks And Recreation.
Alexandra Daddario
As charismatic as this woman is, it was pretty impossible that she was ever going to fail in showbiz. We're not saying she has no talent, but being as likable as this is definitely a leg up. Now, on the big screen, she's looking to prove her acting skill to us all.

This woman has been appearing on stage and on screen for a long time at this point, first working on stage when she started studying at Oxford, moving into the world of acting while working on her English studies!
Hilary Duff
She started out as a child star on the Disney channel, appearing as Lizzie McGuire. However, she moved away from acting at a relatively young age compared to a lot of other actors, deciding that it just wasn't for her. Now, she is a writer of children's stories, and is well known for it!
Eva Mendes
Known for her looks and appearing in either romantic comedies or action movies, Mendes has actually been off the scene for a while at this point, having retired from acting in 2014 so that she could look after her children while her husband continued to act.
Drew Barrymore
This actress has been involved in showbiz for decades, appearing for the first time at a much younger age than most other actors. She clearly loves it, as she has continued to act on the small screen, with her most recent work being Santa Clarita Diet.
Alicia Silverstone
Silverstone appeared in a lot of music videos when she was younger, which lead to her working on a lot of big screen movies like Clueless. Now, it seems that she has moved away from the limelight, choosing to get rid of the fame that she had for most of her life.

This UK actor has been working professionally since she was thirteen years old, so she has a real portfolio of work for people to look at if they're interested in seeing her talent. She's well respected in UK but she's also worked on roles that have been seen by an international audience.

After spending a lot of time on SNL as both a writer and an actor, Murray decided that he wanted to move on to the big screen. He worked on a lot of movies in his time, which is what he's now best known for, especially on movies like Caddyshack, Groundhog Day, and Scrooged.

Starting out on the US version of the office, this guy has started to put the work in and move his way up onto the big screen. He also has a recurring character in Brooklyn Nine Nine, proving that he hasn't forgotten his skills when it comes to television roles now that's he's a movie actor!
Courteney Cox
This woman made it big after working on Friends, but sadly wasn't able to find much work after that. However, in her later life, she found work on a TV show called Cougar Town. She may have finally found work, but it must have been pretty difficult in the intervening years.
Claire Danes
Danes has worked on a lot of stuff in the past, but she is best known across the world for her work on Homeland. This TV show has done wonders for her, and has given her a job for the past seven years. Good for her!
Miley Cyrus
What Cyrus may now be known for is her work in the world of music, but she actually started out in showbiz by working on the television show Hannah Montana. This work for Disney, put her out there, making her famous across the world for her acting ability and her singing.
Brendan Gleeson
This man has been putting in the work for a long time, with both the older generation and the newer generation finding him in their favorite movies. Recent movies like In Bruges and the Harry Potter films have placed him back on people's radar.
Elijah Wood
This man found an international audience when taking on the role of Frodo in the big screen adaptation of The Lord of the Rings franchise. Since then, he has moved onto different projects, choosing to pick up work in video games and on independent movies as well.
Maya Rudolph
Years before she took the world by storm as a comedy actor, Rudolph actually worked in showbiz as a singer in a band. She continues to perform at the moment, but most of her work revolves around what she achieved at SNL and on the big screen.
Lisa Kudrow
This woman found international fame when she appeared in Friends as Phoebe, but has done less work since. She's had a couple of major movies appearances, but she rarely stars and instead is usually a co-star, or a writer.

Banks has worked in both comedy and drama, but we think that it's the comedy roles that she's best known for. It's her work on things like 30 Rock and independent features that has placed her on the map in a big way years ago.

Longoria is definitely best known for the work that she put in on Desperate Housewives, the show that put her in front of an international audience. That being said, it's her recent work on shows like Brooklyn Nine Nine that we've enjoyed her in the most.
Lily Tomlin
Tomlin has been in showbiz for decades, but it is her recent work on a Netflix show that has thrust her into the modern world as well. Younger generations will likely best know her for the work she has done on Grace & Frankie, breathing new life into her acting life.
Leslie Mann
Mann has been working in the world of acting for a long time, putting in work for decades. She's best known for various movies from the past ten years that were directed by her husband Judd Apatow, often alongside their two daughters as well.

Pushing 80 at this point, Dunaway refuses to let old age stop her from doing the things that she loves. She has stuck around in showbiz and we don't think she will stop! We have a lot of respect for people who never give up on what they love to do.

Even though Holmes has appeared in numerous movies throughout her life, it's her marriage to Tom Cruise that made her really famous, and to this day, it's probably what people remember a lot more than they do her portfolio of work.

After working on St. Trinian's in 2007, everyone knew that Arterton was one to watch, as she is somebody that has the skill to work on some serious projects and bring life to some difficult roles. She continues to work to this day, on numerous movies.

Most people will know Krasinski for his work on the US version of The Office, playing Jim perfectly as a normal voice among so many weird ones. However, he has now gone on to work on more dramatic roles, and has even co-written a movie with his wife, Emily Blunt, which the two star in.

We think that people often forget about Goodman, even though every time he turns up on the big screen, he inevitably puts in a great amount of work. The Coen Brothers consistently cast him in their movies as they know that he has a gravitas that not many other actors can manage.

After his sketch comedy group Monty Python made it big with a collection of TV shows and movies, Cleese moved onto the now famous TV show Fawlty Towers. He has since worked sporadically on the big screen but seems to spend most of his time away form showbiz these days.

Bell got his first major role at the age of thirteen, appearing as the titular character in Billy Elliot. This young man ended up winning the BAFTA Award as well! That is a lot to live up to, but rather than worry about that, Bell has just enjoyed acting and working on his passion.

There are some actors out there that find a niche and they work it for the rest of their lives, which is what we think Statham is doing. That being said, he's definitely got a skill that most other action movie actors do not have at all, pulling us in like no other has.

Best known for his work on comedy movies, especially alongside Will Ferrell, those are not the only roles he has taken on. For example, he appeared in Magnolia years before he made it big, and has since appeared in the big screen adaptation of We Need To Talk About Kevin.

It seems as if Carrey has spent the last two decades trying to prove that he isn't just a comedy actor, after starting out as a comic and comedic actor. He moved from the stage to the big screen, taking his rubber face with him to various comedy movies.

He got his start in small, usually independent, comedy movies before moving onto bigger features, with dramatic roles often taking the place of comedy movies. This is why he ended up starring in movies like Batman v. Superman and The Social Network.

This guy has been putting in work in the comedy world for a long time now, and unlike other actors in this quiz, he seems happy to stay a comedy actor. He works extensively on comedy movies which he clearly enjoys making, and has no plans of changing this.

No matter what Daniels tries, he will always be known for the work that he did on the original Dumb & Dumber, followed by the sequel years later. Sure, he's done other movies and even appeared in dramatic TV shows in the past, but it's Dumb & Dumber that will remain his legacy.
