Pick Only The Best Superpowers And We'll Reveal Your Superhero Name

Quick, come here! Don't ask us how we did it, but we managed to trap a boatload of superpowers within the cell of this quiz. These game changing energies and abilities will surely not be held for much longer, so let's make haste - pick the best ones, pass on whatever seems uninteresting, and all our power levels will skyrocket!

Maybe there's a hero somewhere inside all of us, or maybe the roots of a hero's spirit are only granted to a select few. It's also possible that we all have the potential to become villains depending on the direction life sways us in. We can only hope for a heroic legacy to follow us after we're gone, and we should all do everything we can to help the side of good without supporting tyranny. We're not sure if this quiz will help us become true heroes, but we don't see how it would hurt our chances. At the very least, we can leave this little rodeo with our very own superhero name - and that's a good start, for sure.

Let's also not forget the arsenal of superpowers we'll emerge from this quiz with. This is the beginning of the rest of our lives.

Question 1

Pick or pass on Superhuman Strength

Imagine being able to lift two L-shaped couches over the head, one in each hand. Friends would likely line up for help moving, but having superhuman strength means having the power to say no to their requests, over and over again. Or, if we'd be feeling generous, we can lend them a hand or two when we have the time. Other than that, having superhuman strength allows us to really show ourselves off at the gym. How cool would this power be?

Question 2

Pick or pass on Telekinesis

The ability to move objects around using nothing but one's thoughts is something that many have fantasized about. This can be a super practical ability in the kitchen - we'd be able to simply stay put at the island and beckon all our cutlery and ingredients toward us in midair. Of course, in an epic battle, any mortal foe won't stand a chance against a telekinetic onslaught. Is this ability worth picking, or are there better powers that are more worth picking?

Question 3

Pick or pass on Reality Warping

Now we're talking - instead of dabbling with all these conventional superpowers, why not step up the abstraction somewhat with a really broken technique: reality warping! Imagine being able to transform the root particles of any given room into bubble gum, or to turn one's parents into a pair of raccoons. Of course, such an overpowered ability must be used with great caution - there's no real limit to a reality warper's capabilities, and if they get carried away, they might just render the universe into a big slice of French toast.

Question 4

Pick or pass on X-ray Vision

X-ray vision allows the user to see directly through physical objects. Once again, it's easy to see how this power could be used in a questionable and ill-advised way. On the other hand, this can be a great asset for a born hero - imagine being able to see directly through any number of surfaces, scanning all areas for potential crimes being committed. It's not the most useful technique in a battle, but it can help a user get prepared for one, for sure.

Question 5

Pick or pass on Invulnerability

With invulnerability, a hero (or villain) is able to laugh away an onslaught of attacks from an opponent. Whether or not they can dish a proper punishment out afterwards depends on their other powers, though the worst case scenario for an invulnerability user isn't quite as grim as it otherwise could be. Many of us dream of having such an ability, though it only exists in the pages of fiction - or does it? Maybe there's a godlike, invulnerable quiz taker going through this right now.

Question 6

Pick or pass on Weather Manipulation

This ability can certainly come in handy during a rainy day, or a blizzard. When the user wishes to simply relax for the day and spend some time at the beach in perfect weather, all they'd really have to do is snap their fingers a couple of times. Storm is the most famous user of this technique, and she's put it to great use in epic X-Men battles. Is weather manipulation worth picking, or should we pass it right up?

Question 7

Pick or pass on Magic

Those of us who are fans of the Harry Potter franchise tend to dream about being able to produce actual magic in the real world. Unfortunately, regardless of how many times - and with how much vigor - we point our branches to things and say Wingardium Leviosa, no real results tend to manifest. But who knows - maybe there's actually a Doctor Strange living out there in the mountains, making beer appear out of thin air. Is magic the superpower worth picking?

Question 8

Pick or pass on Divination

In Harry Potter, professor Trelawney is far from regarded as the most talented magic practitioner. Indeed, for a while, she didn't even seem too adept at divination, her self-proclaimed specialty. However, she ended up proving her worth before the story was through with her. Those of us who choose divination as our superpower will be able to see visions of the future, and that will allow us to prepare for it accordingly. Though of course, other superpowers appear to be much flashier than this one.

Question 9

Pick or pass on Teleportation

We're here right now, but if we snap our fingers in just the right way, we might find ourselves at the other end of the planet - or the universe - in less than a second. This is the incredible potential offered to users of teleportation, another one of the most coveted superpowers in the book. Being able to appear anywhere almost instantly is definitely a tempting superpower, but is it the one to pick here? Let's see what everyone thinks about it.

Question 10

Pick or pass on Size Manipulation

Humans seem to be made at a pretty convenient size - by human standards, anyway. Even at that, many of us wish that we were the size of a skyscraper, or maybe an ant, as either option would definitely provide its respective conveniences. True masters of size manipulation may even be able to morph the size of specific body parts - like the ear, for instance, allowing for super hearing! Should we pick this one, or are we totally fine with our current sizes?

Question 11

Pick or pass on Omnilingualism

With so many languages used all over the world, it's impossible for any one person to communicate with 100% of the people they share the planet with - unless, of course, the person in question is gifted with omnilingualism. Of course, this power allows the user command over literally every language - even those used by species outside of our planet. For those who value communication above all else (and communication is definitely important), then this is definitely the superpower to pick.

Question 12

Pick or pass on Superhuman Speed

While the results provided by this superpower aren't quite as instantaneous as that of teleportation, it's still remarkable how fast a person can go if they're gifted with superhuman speed. For instance, the Flash can scale the globe in relatively no time at all, and still make it back in time for brunch. There are plenty of instances where superhuman speed might come in handy, though some might definitely leave this one aside in lieu of some of the other abilities in here.

Question 13

Pick or pass on Immortality

Here we are - immortality, the ultimate goal for a mortal being. Whether or not we're immortal in the abstract sense has yet to be confirmed, and at that point, we probably wouldn't tell those on this side of the veil of our findings. However, fiction has shown us several characters gifted with immortality within the dimension we occupy, and the results tend to be real sweet. However, when all friends and family remain mortal, immortality can get pretty lonely in the long run.

Question 14

Pick or pass on Invisibility

At one moment we might appear to be here, but at the next, we'd appear to be nowhere at all. This is the potential granted to us with the power of invisibility, another one of the most sought after supernatural abilities in the book. With this great power comes great responsibility, since the lesser among us might be tempted to use this ability to creep around. For those who value stealth above all else, invisibility is definitely the way to go.

Question 15

Pick or pass on Mind Control

Here's another superpower that will definitely tempt the less morally sound among us. Those who simply wish that others would do what they want without having to resort to a reasonably sound argument would likely love having the power of mind control, since it would save them from pouting about. With this ability, getting a small (or huge) army together would be a pretty easy endeavor, but what would the user do with such potential? Hopefully this one falls into the hands of a hero and not a villain.

Question 16

Pick or pass on Time Travel

There's a ton of stuff going on in our present time, and definitely more than enough to keep us occupied until the subsequent present times present themselves to us. However, imagine being able to jump to those unseen futures without having to wait them out through linear time. Alternatively, imagine being able to visit the countless eras of the past, being able to see what they were really like in person. Of course, this ability invites time paradoxes, which tend to be messy ordeals.

Question 17

Pick or pass on Precognition

If this quiz were to implode without warning, we'd have no response to it - we'd just disappear into the void of the internet forever, along with the streams of coding that contain us here. However, if we were gifted with precognition, we'd be able to call up a trusted coder to help us avoid that whole mess. Of course, that's just a personal usage - there's definitely much more potential with precognition than rescuing an imploding quiz. Is this one worth picking?

Question 18

Pick or pass on Power Mimicry

Those of us who don't want to spend too much time thinking about a perfectly fitting power for ourselves might want to take a real look at power mimicry. With this ability, even if a foe pulls out the most dastardly of moves on us, we can respond in turn with the very same technique. Of course, if the opponent has no real power to speak of, then neither would we, though in that case we might just settle our differences with a game of checkers.

Question 19

Pick or pass on Self-Multiplication

One of us tends to be enough for most of us, but others might want more. Maybe they'd like it if there were several versions of themselves running around town, getting all errands done in record time. For those looking to start a one man band, then self-multiplication is definitely the way to go. Indeed, for any of life's endeavors, it helps to have a good team to get the job done, and what better team is there than several versions of oneself?

Question 20

Pick or pass on Regeneration

In battle, an injury usually tends to spell out some seriously bad news. However, with regeneration, all of that is simply par for the course - one second the wound is there, and the next it's completely in the past. Of course, this is definitely one of the more defensive tactics of this quiz, but some believe that the best offense is a solid defense. All things considered, though, this power is definitely best used with a solid set of offensive abilities.

Question 21

Pick or pass on Flight

What would life be like if we didn't have to take the bus or car to work? What if we could simply lift ourselves up from the ground with a single thought, and experience unhindered travel in midair? That's the luxury that comes with flight, one of the most coveted superpowers of the bunch. Keep in mind, though, depending on how high we might fly, we might have to pack a winter jacket and some thermal undergarments, since it can get cold up there.

Question 22

Pick or pass on Night vision

When night time comes around, many of us tend to rely on the light of the moon or streetlights in order to make our way around. However, when night vision is a factor, there really is nothing hindering an individual's sight at night. In fact, those possessing this ability tend to see better at night than they do in the day. Again, there are definitely flashier powers in this quiz, but the more nocturnal folk among us might see great potential in night vision.

Question 23

Pick or pass on Pyrokinesis

Many of us don't tend to exert much mastery over heat and fire aside from boiling our eggs in the morning. However, with pyrokinesis, that raging element is entirely at our fingertips, and we are given full control over it. Of course, it's hard to see the use of this technique in the modern world - a villain would be tempted to use it to unleash chaos, while a hero will need it to stop such chaos from spreading. Do we pick this one?

Question 24

Pick or pass on Frost Breath

Frost breath is a great technique for those who have just moved houses and don't have their fridges installed yet - simply breathe on the food for a second or two, and it'll be good for months! Also, if ever a universal threat sets its sights on earth, the individual might be called upon by the world's heroes to help defend it. After they're done saving the planet, they might just come home to a newly installed fridge, and they can save their frost breath for another day.

Question 25

Pick or pass on Empathy

Empathy is an important trait to possess when attempting to connect to others, though many of us fall short of exhibiting it in cases where we really ought to. However, with the super jacked version of empathy we're presenting here, we need not ever worry about not ever worrying about others - simply point the antennae towards a person's heart, and all of what they've been feeling will flood in. We'd better be prepared for the wave of emotion, since it might not be what we're expecting.

Question 26

Pick or pass on Phasing

Most of us tend to traverse the physical world in a pretty linear, easy to follow fashion, and thankfully so. If we were all just phasing around all over the place, the world would probably be a blurry mess. Abilities like phasing are best used by a select group of superheroes or supervillains, and discretely at that. There are plenty of uses for this technique, though some of the other ones might be more tempting. Is phasing worthy of a pick?

Question 27

Pick or pass on Telepathy

Thanks to the space that separates us in the physical realm, our thoughts tend to be entirely our own, shared only when we really want to. Of course, that simply doesn't apply when there's a user of telepathy in the room - these folks can simply peer into the minds of others without anyone figuring out what they're up to. Hopefully we don't have much to hide up there, otherwise a telepath will have some serious dirt on us. Pick or pass?

Question 28

Pick or pass on Superhuman Endurance

We tend to burn out on the treadmill before the second song on our playlist starts, but that would certainly not be the case if we had superhuman endurance. If we did, we'd be able to get all our work done including our taxes and phone calls to grandma while running several miles (without going anywhere at all) throughout the day. If someone happens to be an athlete, then this would definitely be the superpower to pick, though some of the other ones might be even more clutch.

Question 29

Pick or pass on Necromancy

This is definitely one of the darker superpowers in this quiz, and it's mainly associated to villains rather than heroes. The ability to raise the fallen allows the potential to be in command of an army of zombies, and really, what good would that do? Unless these zombies happen to be runners with a decent level of wit about them, they'll just be swept away by a hero wielding some of the other abilities in here. Is necromancy really worth picking?

Question 30

Pick or pass on Astral Projection

This superpower is special in that some believe that we have the potential to access it right here, right now, in the real world. Once meditation is mastered up to a certain point, the next level is astral projection - the conscious release of the spiritual self from the physical, into the astral realm, where infinite exploration is possible. Of course, it's important not to sever the thread that connects the spirit to the body, lest we're looking to wander the ether forever.

Question 31

Pick or pass on Power Absorption

No matter how powerful a foe happens to be, they'll need a seriously impactful first strike in order to avoid the downfall that awaits them with power absorption. With this technique, the user can simply suck up all their opponent's power and add it to their own, seriously tipping the scale of the battle in their favor. Of course, it's important that the body be sufficiently conditioned to handle the input, otherwise this technique might just result in the user's own defeat.

Question 32

Pick or pass on Levitation

In the real world, the space of air floating in the feet above us tends to be outside of our reach - unless we have access to a trampoline, and even at that, the effect only allows us access to levitation for a fleeting second or two before gravity takes hold again. With true levitation, however, we can float way above all our friends, thumbing our noses at them from above. Of course, this position would leave us vulnerable to small pine cones flung from slingshots, and that stuff stings.

Question 33

Pick or pass on Omniscience

We tend to think we know a good amount of information about a decent range of fields, but really, we only know what our tiny human minds allow us to. With omniscience, however, we'd literally know everything - about the present, for sure, but also extending to the beginning and end of time and the universe itself. The thing is, would we even be able to handle such knowledge, or would our minds be blown the second we're gifted with it?

Question 34

Pick or pass on Omnipresence

Here we are, right now, because we're not omnipresent. If we were, we'd be everywhere, all the time. If that seems hard to imagine, that's because it is - how can we be in one place while being everywhere at the same time? Here's another power that goes far beyond the limits of human comprehension, but omnipresence is an actual thing in the fictional world. It's definitely one of the more busted abilities in here, but is it really worth picking?

Question 35

Pick or pass on Omnipotence

A lot of the superpowers in this quiz are definitely super powerful, but they all fall infinitely short of omnipotence. This is the grand daddy of all superpowers - basically, it's infinite power granted to one lucky user. Is that user among us here today? Or are they looking for other, more manageable levels of potential? If great power requires great responsibility, then infinite power requires infinite responsibility. Let's think about that for a little bit before we decide to pick omnipotence.
