The Type A and Type B personality theory posits the concept that there are essentially only two personality types. At their very core, everybody has either a Type A personality or a Type B personality. If you obsess over things or get really competitive or you’re addicted to organization with folders and highlighters and labeled notebooks or you have big dreams or you don’t have a lot of patience or you’re constantly watching the clock and worrying about the time, then you have a Type A personality. On the other hand, someone with a Type B personality is more relaxed and laid back and chilled out about everything. Suffice it to say, of the two, it’s the much more fun personality type to be. There are some cardiologists who believe there is a link between your mental health and your physical health, and they believe that people with Type A personalities are more likely to contract coronary heart disease. This is linked to how Type A people are more stressed out due to their aggressive and competitive nature. So, in short, you probably don’t want to be Type A. But you won’t know which one you are unless you take this quiz!
