Who doesn't love pets? And we're not just talking about cats or dogs, here. Pets are pets and that can mean anything from snakes and lizards to tarantulas and turtles. Different people have different connections to different creatures... and there's nothing wrong with that. Not a thing. But, admittedly, pets are often a bit different in the movies. Yes, they usually talk. And they're usually much more capable of taking care of themselves. Wouldn't that be nice? But, the conversations--now that's a whole different issue. It would certainly have its pros and cons. On one hand, it'd be a whole lot easier to know if the dog needed to go out. It would save a lot of time on, "...what is it, girl? Do you need to go out? Huh? Do ya?"
On the other hand, there might be a whole lot more complaining as far as dinner and food were concerned, "...what in the world is this?! This is the exact same thing I've had the last five nights in a row! Is this really the best we can do?!? Really?!" So, maybe the status quo is just fine for right now. Maybe things are the way they are for a reason. Anyhow, that's what this quiz is all about, pets in the movies. Simply go through our list and "Pick" or "Pass" on the individual 'screen pets,' and at the end... we'll reveal which one would make the perfect pet. Don't like the result? Try it again! Garfield: PICK or PASS
Garfield, the fat, lazy, lasagna-loving cat is just as happy as can be all on his own. But, when Jon makes an ill-conceived effort to impress Liz, the vet, and adopts a dog named Odie and brings him home, Garfield gets the one thing he doesn't want: competition. One night, Odie runs off and gets abducted when Garfield locks him outside.
Marley: PICK or PASS
After getting married, writers John and Jennifer move to Florida. However, John decides he may not quite be ready to be a father. So, instead, he buys a puppy, Marley. While the puppy quickly becomes a full-grown dog, he loses none of his puppy energy or rambunctiousness, or lack of self-discipline. Despite the fact that the Grogans mature and have children of their own, Marley continues to test everyone by continuing to act like the world's most impulsive dog.
Wilbur: PICK or PASS
Based on the children's novel by E.B. White, a young girl named Fern rescues a small piglet, decides to raise to as her own, and dubs him Wilbur. Eventually, though, Wilbur grows into an adult pig, and Fern is convinced to sell him to her Uncle Homer Zuckerman. At Zuckerman's barn, Wilbur meets a variety of other animals and finds out that come winter, he will be slaughtered for food. Fearing for his life, Charlotte the spider, promises to save his life.
Max: PICK or PASS
In a New York high-rise, Max's life as the favorite pet is turned upside down, when the owner brings home a new, over-grown, haphazardly dog named, Duke. However, the two must put their differences aside when they find out that an adorable white bunny, Snowball, is building an army of lost pets and is determined to wreak havoc.
Lou: PICK or PASS
Apparently, a secret war between cats and dogs has been brewing for decades. Enter the Brody family. The father, is a professor, trying to create a serum to cure dog allergies in all humans. As the unsuspecting family goes through their busy lives, the family dog, Lou, is covertly made aware of this on-going battle and is recruited. Meanwhile, an evil white cat named Mr. Tinkles is planning to sabotage the efforts of Professor Brody.
Darwin: PICK or PASS
Leonard Saber owns a multinational company, whose main purpose is to link all household appliances with shopping lists, grocery stores, etc. However, it's all just a cover for a weapon which would exterminate humanity. Luckily, Ben Kendall's secret government agents team, mainly comprising of Guinea pigs, plus a mole and some insects, must try to stop it. Despite the FBI's attempt to shut the team down, Ben and his animal team decide to go through with it anyway.
Marmaduke: PICK or PASS
Marmaduke is a huge, and clumsy Great Dane who is more than loyal to his owner, Phil. Having to move to California, Marmaduke is forced to adjust to his new life; from things like surfing to falling in love to getting stuck in a sewer trying to save his friends. But, hey, it's California. He should fit right in! Right?
Friday: PICK or PASS
Andi and her little brother Bruce live in a foster home where animals are not allowed--under any circumstances. But for Friday, the adorable dog they secretly care for, they are willing to risk everything. Eventually they find Friday a home of his own and for all the other stray animals around. Perfect, right? Wrong. Soon, all the commotion attracts the attention of the neighbors and Andi and Bruce have to find a solution before it's too late!
Winn Dixie: PICK or PASS
A 10-year-old girl, who was abandoned by her mother, moves to a small town in Florida with her father, who is a preacher. Shortly after arriving there, she saves a stray dog in a local super market. With her crazy pup in tow, she meets an odd bunch of townspeople and rekindles an almost lost relationship with her father.
Chloe: PICK or PASS
Chloe, a spoiled Beverly Hills Chihuahua, finds herself being "puppy-sat" by the niece of her owner when she leaves for Europe. While Rachel is enjoying her aunt's wealthy home, she's invited on a weekend trip to Mexico with her friends. With Chloe tagging along, Rachel's partying quickly disgusts the pooch and she decides she'll get back home by herself. Surprise, surprise ... Chloe quickly gets lost in Mexico.
Bruiser: PICK or PASS
The beautiful irony of it all is that Elle didn't actually start out with a great ambition to be a lawyer. She started out with a great ambition to be "Mrs. Warren Huntington III." But, in her determination to go after the man she loves, she found so much more. Elle found that there was more to her than just being dependent on someone else to get you the things you want or for someone else to make you happy. And having 'Bruiser' along for the ride didn't hurt, either.
Scooby Doo: PICK or PASS
The "Mystery Inc." gang have all gone their separate ways and have been apart for nearly two years; until they each receive an invitation to Spooky Island, that is. Not knowing that the others have also been invited, they show up and discover an amusement park that affects visitors in very odd ways. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and, of course, Scooby soon realize that they can't solve this mystery without help from each other.
Boog: PICK or PASS
Boog, a domesticated 900-pound grizzly bear, finds himself stranded in the woods three days before Open Season. Forced to rely on Elliot, a fast-talking mule deer, the two form an unlikely friendship and must quickly rally other forest animals if they are to form a rag-tag army against the hunters.
Hubble: PICK or PASS
Owen is a 12-year-old lonely kid who has been working as the local, neighborhood dog walker. His hard work finally pays off when his parents let him adopt a cuddly little mutt, that he names Hubble. Both the boy and the dog get more than they bargained for when Owen wakes up one day to discover that he can understand every word Hubble says.

A shy boy is unable to make friends in Yazoo City, Mississippi in 1942, until his parents give him a terrier puppy for his ninth birthday. The dog, which he names Skip, becomes well known and loved throughout the community and enriches the life of the boy, Willie, as he grows into manhood.
Scamp: PICK or PASS
One of Lady and Tramp's mischievous pups, named Scamp, gets fed up with rules and restrictions. Like his Dad, he longs for adventure and a life on the outside. Eventually, he runs away from home and into the streets where he joins a pack of stray dogs known as the "Junkyard Dogs." How can anything possibly go wrong?
Dug: PICK or PASS
Carl Fredricksen, as a boy, wanted to explore South America. and find the forbidden Paradise Falls. About 60 years later, he finally begins his journey along with a chubby, little, tag-a-long Boy Scout named Russel by flying his house with thousands of balloons. On their journey they make many new friends including a talking dog and figure out that someone has evil plans.
Gill: PICK or PASS
Nemo was just trying to stand up to his Dad and show him that he could make it on his own. But, who could've guessed that things would go so wrong?! Nemo is scooped up (literally) and taken away to a diver's aquarium. Luckily, he quickly becomes friends with the other inhabitants, including Gill, who are happy to help him get back to his Dad.
Hedwig: PICK or PASS
Young Harry Potter is destined for greatness he never knew was coming. He is prophesied to be one of the greatest wizards that ever lived. Despite the efforts of his aunt and uncle, Harry is eventually whisked away to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But, first, he needs a few school supplies including his faithful, messenger owl, Hedwig.
Toothless: PICK or PASS
What's a young, wiry boy to do when his Dad wants him to grow up and be a big, hulking viking like everyone else; especially if you don't have the build for it? And why, exactly, do dragons have to be caged and treated like the enemy? Maybe people just don't know enough about them to know any better. Maybe, just maybe ... someone should find out. Especially about NightFurys.
Kyle: PICK or PASS
What an original idea! A villain turned father! And let's not forget the adorable(?), little dog, Kyle. Gru is your above-average villain who finds himself challenged by-- another above-average villain? When his shrink-ray is stolen, Gru decides to adopt three adorable girls and use them in a ridiculous scheme to gain access to his adversary's lair and steal it back!
Jinxy: PICK or PASS
Greg is a male nurse who's ready to propose to his his girlfriend, Pam. During a weekend trip, he tries his best to impress his new, potential in-laws. However, it becomes painfully obvious from the start, that Pam's father is not easily impressed. One, right after another, awkward situations begin to pile up and Greg finds himself constantly under the watchful eye of both Pam's father and the family cat.
Richard Parker: PICK or PASS
"Life of Pi" is the story of young man who, while aboard a Japanese cargo ship, survives a devastating disaster at sea and finds himself unexpectedly thrown into the middle of an epic journey of adventure, life, love, and discovery. While cast away at sea, he forms an unlikely connection with another survivor: a fearsome and ferocious Bengal tiger named, Richard Parker.
Bolt: PICK or PASS
Bolt has lived his whole life on the set of a TV show, where he believes that he actually has superpowers. After he's accidentally separated from the T.V. studio, he meets a cat named Mittens and a hamster that goes by the name of Rhino. All he wants is to get back to his human, Penny; but it's going to take some help from his friends. Along the way, he learns that his powers aren't actually real.
Willie: PICK or PASS
Henry is a local Hawaiian vet who likes Lucy a lot. And he's pretty sure that she likes him, too. But there just seems to be something odd going on. So, when someone finally sits him down and explains Lucy's unique situation to him, Henry's determined to find a way to make things work (even if it takes the help of his friend Willie the penguin). The only other problem is, most of the people around him don't believe it can be done ... or maybe it shouldn't be done.
Shadow: PICK or PASS
In the Antarctic, after an expedition, sled dog trainer Jerry Shepherd has to leave the polar base with his colleagues due to the coming of a heavy snow storm. Unfortunately, this means leaving his dogs behind as well. But the mission to rescue them is called off and the dogs are left alone to fend for themselves. Meanwhile, Jerry tries for months to find a sponsor for a rescue mission while his dogs fight for survival.
Rexxx: PICK or PASS
Rexxx is one of Hollywood's top canine stars and has been pampered accordingly his whole life. He's best known for his extreme athletic abilities and, of course, his diva-type demeanor. Surprise, surprise, he gets lost and is taken in at a local, but extremely run-down firehouse. Rexxx ends up befriending a young boy who is a bit of a rebel himself. The two are then determined to get the fire station back on its feet.
Spot: PICK or PASS
A substance sniffing dog, named "Agent 11," is a target for a mob hit; so the FBI counts on the Witness Protection Program to send him somewhere safe. Meanwhile, a negligent, single mom leaves her six-year-old boy James, in the care of her irresponsible mailman/neighbor, Gordon. When the mob boss hires two hit men to end the life of Agent 11, the dog escapes into Gordon's mail truck and the hilarity ensues.
Lassie: PICK or PASS
Little Joe Carraclough, is a down-trodden young boy whose only consolation is his collie Lassie. Life only gets worse when his father's mine is closed down and the family is forced to sell the dog. But, of course, Lassie only wants to be with her boy and promptly escapes, embarking on a desperate journey home.
Daisy: PICK or PASS
With the untimely loss of his beloved wife still fresh in his mind, John Wick receives one final gift from her: a sweet, little puppy, whom she named, Daisy, to help him move on. But when an arrogant Russian mobster has his men pay Wick a visit, they steal his car and the only bit of hope he had left ... Daisy. Enough is enough, and John finally decides it's time for payback.
