Makeup and the use of cosmetics have been around for centuries. Most uses have been for beauty purposes, but the Ancient Egyptians also used kohl liner to shied from the glare of the desert like a football players use black stripes under their eyes. Egyptian eyeliner was, however, dangerous for the amount of lead in their mixture. Today, we know about the brain and reproductive health damage the substance can cause.
That being said, makeup and its trends are constantly changing. Brands compete head to head to formulate the most high performing and high selling sprouts. What once was made out to dried flowers and other organic substances, and now created in labs. Jeffree Star, legally born Jeffrey Lynn Steininger, was born in Orange Country, California on November 15, 1985. He started his career by getting noticed on MySpace.
