Only Someone Who's Actually Funny Will Get 100% On This Superhero Quiz

One of the best parts of watching superheroes in the movies and reading them in comics is watching how they crack wise when in trouble. It could be argued that Robert Downey Jr's sense of humor and improvisational skills were a large part of why Iron Man was so successful. Without that, we might not even have the Marvel movie universe.

Same goes for the characters of Spider-man, or Deadpool, or the Flash. Where would they be without their trademark sense of humor? When one is fighting a slime alien from another dimension, the situation calls for the appropriate quip, right? The situation is ridiculous, the character has got to have a clever commentary on it.

When the stakes are high and lives are in the balance, it calls for characters with a sense of humor to diffuse the situation and offer a little comedic relief. We love it when, in the face of overwhelming odds, Spider-Man says something like, "Sorry Thanos! I forgot to put 'getting erased from existence' in my list of things to do today!" What's not to love about a character that laughs in the face of certain doom?

It is part of the reason jokes in comic books and superhero movies will never go away. Even a Batman movie has them peppered in here and there.

Real fans of superhero jokesters should be able to ace this quiz!
