To many longtime wrestling fans, the Intercontinental Championship is their absolute favorite wrestling belt. So often over the decades, the IC Title has been held up as the championship for the real workhorses of the wrestling world, and that helped it strike a chord with many a grappling fan.
Having been around since 1979, the Intercontinental Championship has been a pivotal part of the WWE and the wrestling business in general for so many years now, and it has also been used as an important stepping stone for a star being groomed for a run as the World Champion. In fact, you could even make an argument that the Intercontinental Title has been more prestigious than the World Championship at certain points in time.
The first IC Champ was famously Pat Patterson, who won a (fictional!) tournament for the prize. Since then, there have been over 160 different IC Title reigns, with the current champ as of this writing being Seth Rollins.
What we want to know here though, is just how well you know the lineage of this most prestigious of championships. So, we have a whole list of current and past wrestlers lined up, and you simply have to answer whether they've ever won the Intercontinental Championship or not.
