Every parent knows how silly and unrealistic their children’s favorite television shows can be. Talking pigs – or any animal for that matter. Children who are four or five running around their town by themselves, with no parent supervision at all. Sometimes these kids travel to mysterious lands and it leaves you questioning their parent’s ability to keep an eye on their child. Regardless of how you may feel about these shows, your children love them. And put them on repeat. And repeat. They watch them so often, you somehow manage to know all of their names and their backstories. It’s not your fault though. To be fair, some of these shows can be educational. For example, they can teach your kids new languages, or about new places that actually exist. And it doesn’t always have to be school related. Some of these shows can even teach your child valuable life lessons about being kind to their friends and family, that stealing and lying is wrong, or something as simple as sharing is polite to do. If you are a parent, then you should be able to name all of these characters. Especially if you have toddlers, and entertaining them with the TV for a few hours is the only way to get some peace and quiet.
