The Bat-Family has been growing since Detective Comics #27. Batman is an incredible hero, but he needs a team to help him. Over the years, Batman has had many teammates, helpers, and allies. Many of these characters have become almost as famous as Batman. Characters like Robin and Batgirl have become huge successes that are known by even the most casual fans. You could even argue that Robin is so big that people who have never watched or read a comic probably can name him. The Bat-Family characters have gotten their own comics and cartoons. They are the most famous support characters in all of comics, but how well do you know all the members of the Bat-Family?
The Bat-Family category encompasses over 15 different characters. There have been five in-canon Robins alone, and even more, if you count alternative timelines.
