We're now more than halfway through the 2017-18 NFL season as fans anxiously await playoffs on the horizon. While last season ended in a flash of brilliance from the Philadelphia Eagles and replacement starter Nick Foles, the New York-based franchise couldn't keep the momentum rolling in this season as they have posted a 5-6 record at the time of publication, placing them in 3rd in the NFC East division.

On the flip side of the NFC, the New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams have posted impressive records of 10-1 as they lead the conference. Right behind them however are the Chicago Bears, who have amazed the world as a powerhouse in the league with an 8-3 record, marking a great improvement over last season's 5-11 record posted by the team. In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs lead the pack with a 9-2 record, followed right behind by the New England Patriots, Houston Texans, and San Diego Chargers, who all have 8-3 records.

Things have certainly been shaken up this season throughout the league thanks to notable offseason moves such as the Bears trade for defensive powerhouse Khalil Mack, and the Patriots acquiring star receiver Brandin Cooks for the 32nd draft pick.

As teams start to look to clinch playoff spots in the coming weeks, fans will only continue to get more involved in anticipation of what could be one of the most interesting postseason in recent NFL history.
