People love movies. They love to get together with one another and experience the cinematography, the plots and the special effects. People also love to be scared and that's where this genre comes in. This genre has been around since as early as the 1800's and the storylines are anywhere from impressive and eye-opening to cheesy and laughable. Nonetheless, Hollywood has captivated fans with many types of these movies throughout the years and by now we know what the classics are and aren't. What makes a film a classic? A classic is any film that has stood the test of time and influenced others after them. A classic is what fans go back to and watch over and over again.

Since Halloween is coming up next month, we thought it'd be appropriate to test the skills of the ultimate movie fans of this genre. Some of these classics are old, while others are from the newer wave of classics. Some people say they are fanatics and obsessed with this genre, but this quiz will truly put them to the test of figuring out if they know their stuff. The actor in the picture must try with his team to stay alive and fight this thing that is trying to take over their camp.

This film revolves around the occult and giving birth to something...not natural. Deeming it being real is half the reason why this film is so popular and back in the day, it stood on its own for that reason. It goes a step further when Ash's girlfriend falls victim to what's hunting them.

John Carpenter is the brains behind this incredibly successful franchise, the antagonist is Michael Myers and these films are proof that the person in the mask never needs to run.

The kicker is, is that this "man" attacks them in their dreams and there's nothing they can do about it. This franchise was before its time with special effects and was extremely popular because of it.

It was released on Christmas Eve in 1896 and really, we can't even believe people had a working video player at that time. It revolves around a physician and his girlfriend who venture across the Midwest for his new job. Along the way, they come across a spooky find and go looking for help from the closest town. They only find kids there that definitely don't offer them help.

Along the way, she starts to learn about the underlining secrets of the academy. It's a movie that stands on its own and has been remade since with actress Dakota Johnson.

Keller tracks down the video and watches it herself...not a smart decision.

In 1999, M. Night Shyamalan directed one of his finest pieces of work. Starring Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment, this film has stood on its own for almost a full decade. It's a storyline unlike all others and told the story of a young boy haunted with a dark secret. After his life is disrupted because of it, he starts seeing Dr. Malcolm Crowe to deal with his anguish. What happens at the end is an incredible realization that no one could see it coming.

Set in a 15th-century world, Count Dracula is condemned to live off the blood of the living forever. Basically, it's the original story of how Count Dracula came to be. Directors Francis Ford Coppola and Karl Freund did a great job of capturing how Dracula was meant to be portrayed.
