For many of us, movies are our escape. And that's part of what makes Hollywood and all of its motion pictures so grand. Movies let us get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives and slip into someone else's for a change. They let us escape the hum-drum of our own routines and experience what it would be like to save the galaxy for a couple of hours. Whether it's a slapstick comedy or a tear-jerker of a drama, something that pulls us away from our own problems is usually a welcome idea. Every year, it seems like the effects get better and stories become more and more epic. Yet, many out there still scoff and worry that the motion picture companies have run out of original ideas; then, as if on cue, they present us with stories like Inception and Avatar and The Martian. Just when we feel like there's nothing left in the tank, new ground is broken and Hollywood gladly shows us something we'd never dreamed of before!

Sometimes it's nice to let someone else right the wrongs for a while.

This is another great adaptation of the proverbial "little guy," determined to stand up to the proverbial "big guy." Difference is, Steve Rogers eventually gets a chance to be the big guy. Then again, maybe that's what makes him such a great hero and maybe that's part of what makes it such a great story. Either way, he's definitely one of those kinds of heroes that we love to root for. And, this film was certainly another home run for the MCU.
