The Simpsons has been on our small screens for nearly 30 years with over 600 episodes and 29 seasons later we have come across many faces coming and going in the world of Springfield. A show that does not look to stop their marathon run any time soon thanks to the regular faces of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson who have become one of the most loving TV families from the moment the show began in 1989. And let's not forget the other familiar faces of Ned Flanders, Chief Wiggum, Moe Szylak, Krusty the Clown, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon (I think that's how you spell it) and many more that just wouldn't be complete without them.
Matt Groening and his writing team never fail to come up with a new storyline or to create a memorable character for the show. The Simpsons has hosted an army of yellow heads over the last 28 years which this quiz should be a real challenge for you Simpson fanatics.
They may have made a one off appearance or they could be seen on different occasions from drinking at Moe's to living with Grandpa Simpson at the Retirement Castle.

Let's start off the quiz with an easy one shall we! This old man has appeared in many episodes of the Simpsons over the years. Most likely famous for being hit in the groin by a football for a short film that brought out non stop laughter from Homer Simpson, who else? The man has had more lives than a cat's nine from blowing up in a car crash to being dragged to the electric chair. Apparently he's 31 years old...

This spotty young chap can be seen as an odd job bloke from working at the Burger King to kicking Bart out of the Noiseland Arcade for having no change left. A very impractical worker but at least he tries, right?

It wasn't always the Itchy and Scratchy Show. Once upon a time it was the Itchy and Scratchy and _________ Show. They brought in the red dog to the show in an attempt from the Itchy and Scratchy creators to spice up the show with a new character. Homer Simpson won in the auditions to voice a character many of the characters were disappointed to see in it's debut before later on the character had somehow flown to a planet far far away.

This character has been mainly seen in the early seasons of the show and was once and possibly still neighbours to the Simpsons. A clue, nothing to do with the Flanders'. In one episode Bart fancied this lady's daughter who was going out with the school bully Jimbo Jones at the time.

He's known for going to all crimes with Chief Wiggum in and around Springfield or shall we say at every Krusty Burger drive thru as all they ever do is eat junk food. The way to live a life!

"Uh, I sleep in a racing car. Do you?" Homer: "I sleep in a big bed with my wife." Have you noticed this guy's glasses and blue hair? Yes it looks similar to the appearance of Bart's best friend Milhouse. Well that's because he is Milhouse's Dad who divorced his Mum in 'A Milhouse Divided'.
