Only A Kid At Heart Can Match The Animated Character To Their Show

There have been so many different television series that have aired over the past couple of decades that it can be really easy to forget some of the characters and even the story lines in general. Some of the more popular television series are the animated series because they tend to be a bit more fun and lighter to watch. Some animated series are completely out of the realm of possibility whereas others offer a unique perspective on things that are happening in the real world. Just one TV show can have multiple different characters so remembering all of the names and story lines of a bunch of different animated series can seem to be near impossible.
Nonetheless those who are true animated fans will be able to recount at least the most popular ones as they more then likely watched them or at least heard something about them over time. Animated shows have been around since television was invented so its been a while. Some of the animated shows in this quiz are still on air and others have not been on air for quite some time so there is something for everyone!
Spongebob Squarepants
Now this little sponge is a very famous cartoon character that has been on TV for quite some time. Although he is a simply a sponge, SpongeBob lives a pretty normal life under the sea with some of his close friends. He loves his job at the Krusty Krab where he cooks up burgers for everyone in town. He is basically always happy, even when he really shouldn't be. SpongeBob is also there for his friends whenever need be and a hard worker.
Timmy Turner
Timmy Turner has some pretty bad luck. He is not good in school, his teacher hates him and his parents barley act like he exists. Timmy is granted two fairy god parents who are meant to grant his wishes and make his life a lot better. He becomes very close to his fairies and looks to them like parents most of the time. They become a little family and go through a lot together over the course of the show.
Ash Ketchum
When Ash is first introduced in the series he is only ten years old. However he is one of the most hardworking, ambitious and dedicated ten year olds that the Kanto region has ever seen. He hopes to become a Pokémon master one day and decides to set off on a new adventure to travel around the region, meet new people and catch as many Pokémon as possible. Once he leaves home he realizes that all of this is a lot harder then he thought.
Courage
Courage is a dog that is basically scared of everything and everyone. He lives with his owners, an elderly couple, and when the lights go out Courage constantly thinks that there are monsters out there trying to get him. Most of the time he is wrong and just overreacting. As a result of this Courage is almost always anxious and on edge, resulting in not the best life. However he is well taken care of and loved by the elderly woman.
Bugs Bunny
Now this might very well be one of, if not the most, famous cartoon character in history. Bugs Bunny is very clever and basically outsmarts everyone that tries to antagonize him including Elmer Fudd and Wile E. Coyote. When Bugs is first confronted he usually tries to ignore the character but eventually things escalate and he is no longer able to just ignore them. Bugs is usually in his nonchalant position as shown in the position when not dealing with an enemy.
Buttercup
Buttercup and her sisters fly around saving their city from all threats and danger. Buttercup is usually described as the tomboy who has a pretty bad temper, so its best to leave her be. Buttercup loves to get dirty, fight rough and never has a plan when going in for an attack. Instead she likes to focus on what is happening right in front of her. Buttercup is unique from her sisters as she is the only one with a unique super power.
Tommy Pickles
Tommy Pickles may only be a baby but he is super smart and is usually the ring leader of the babies. He is always creating adventures for them to embark on and has a knack for breaking them out of their playpen. Once they are out Tommy and his friends usually find themselves in some crazy situations. Nonetheless Tommy is a good friend, even at a young age, and is always trying to help his friends out when they need it.
Bart Simpson
Bart is the eldest child and only son of Homer and Marge. He has two younger sisters, Lisa and Maggie. Bart is most known for being a bit mischievous as well as rebellious. This often lands him in hot water with his father who is a bit hard on him to begin with. Bart has little respect for authority and is often seen doing the complete opposite of what his parents ask him to do. What show is Bart from?
Yogi Bear
Yogi Bear was almost always joined by his best friend and trusty sidekick, Boo Boo Bear. The two bear's favorite past time was trying to steal picnic baskets from unsuspecting campers. Yogi loved to eat and this was the best way to score some of his favorite snacks, that were probably not good for him at all. Park Ranger Smith was not happy with Yogi and his friend's antics and they often found themselves getting in some trouble for bothering the campers.
Wanda
Wanda is one of the fairy god parents that are assigned to Timmy Turner. Timmy has a hard time in school and is basically ignored by his parents so as a result he is assigned two fairy god parents to help make his childhood a bit easier and a lot more fun. Wanda often acts as the voice of reason whereas Cosmo is always down to do whatever Timmy wants. At the end of the day they become like family to one another.
Peter Griffin
Peter Griffin is a typical father in some sense and not so typical in another sense. He has a normal job and is the main provider for his family. Peter is very in love with his wife and seems to adore his children. However he is a bit rough on his children and has no problem making fun of them for doing things that most kids their age do. He also has some pretty strange feuds with those he has come across.
George Jetson
George Jetson is the typical dad that is very caring and tries his best to be involved in his children's lives. However he is often frazzled and anxious between problems at work and all of the stress at home. George has been seen as the average man as he has problems with his boss, problems with his kids and so on. However George lives in the next century where computers control pretty much everything and there are huge advances in technologies.
Scooby Doo
Scooby Doo may look like a silly dog but he is actually very useful in solving crimes and helping put bad guys away, well sort of. He is a bit of a scaredy cat. He is best friends with Shaggy and the two of them are always getting distracted while on the job. Scooby is extremely motivated by snacks and will basically do anything that he has to in order to get a treat. What show is Scooby Doo from?
Aang
Aang is very special as he is the last surviving Airbender. He is the manifestation of the spirit of light and peace in human form. When the show first starts Aang is only twelve years old and a bit reluctant to take on the role of "hero". He is still learning everything there is about becoming an Airbender but his friends come along for the ride to make everything a bit easier. Aang is super smart as well as powerful. Charlie Brown
Charlie Brown has a bit of a rough go at things as he is often characterized as the "lovable loser". He often end sup suffering and things do not ever go his way. As a result Charlie is a very nervous and anxious character who is always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Through all of his adventures he has his trusty beagle Snoopy. Charlie is one of the more relatable cartoon characters in history. What show is Charlie Brown from?
Homer Simpson
When Homer Simpson was first introduced in the series he was very concerned with his image and as a result was hard on his kids in fear that they would embarrass him. However as his character develops he becomes a lot less anxious with how he is viewed. He was initially a very sweet and caring character but he has become a bit more harsh. He seems to have a very little fuse, especially when it comes to his son Bart.
Daffy Duck
Daffy Duck is known for his very high ego and outgoing personality. Daffy's frequent sidekick was Porky Pig and the two of them were always getting into some pretty crazy antics. Daffy Duck also has a pretty bad temper that leads him into a ton of confrontations with other characters. One of the things that characterizes this character the most is his distinct lisp that often makes him kind of hard to understand, especially when he is very angry or annoyed.
Stitch
Stitch was never really meant to be on planet earth but one way or another he found himself in the hands of a dog catcher. He was brought to the pound where he was thought to be a dog and put up for adoption. When a little girl named Lilo went to the pound to look for a new best friend she fell in love with this little blue alien. However she got a whole lot more then she bargained for.
Tweety
Tweety has largely been considered a female because of its high voice and long lashes, however this little one is a male. Tweety is a pretty aggressive little one and does whatever he has to do in order to fool his foe, Sylvester the Cat. However as the series goes on Tweety becomes a lot more laid back and waits for the cat's plans to foil themselves instead of trying to cause their downfall himself. What show is Tweety from?
Clliford
When Emily Elizabeth got a tiny, red puppy she never imagined that she would end up with the biggest dog in the world! Despite Clifford's size he is one of the most gentle and helpful dogs of all time. He is fiercely loyal to his owner and even though he is massive he still believes that he is a lap dog. Even though Clifford is a lot bigger then Emily planned she never even considered getting rid of him or finding him a new home.
Bullwinkle
Bullwinkle is lucky enough to share a house with his best friend Rocky in the fictional town of Frostbite Falls. Bullwinkle may look like he is a bit silly but he has actually attended college and was even the part governor of the island of Moosylvania. As a result he is shown to be pretty wealthy at numerous times in the show. Bullwinkle keeps a stockpile of cash underneath his mattress in case of an emergency that he acquired from delivering newspapers.
Gumby
This little guy is made of clay but has never let that stop him from traveling through different environments and times in history. His primary sidekick is a orange pony names Pokey. Gumby has a limited attention span and seems to only be able to focus on what is going on right in front of him. However he is extremely good natured. His heads tend to be in the clouds but nonetheless he always finds some way to keep himself entertained.
Pink Panther
This little guy may look cute and pretty much harmless but he is actually a very smart animal. Pink Panther has the grace of a cat and is able to steal things in a way that no one else does. He always seems to escape the authorities, at least at first. Despite many people trying to catch and keep Pink Panther in custody he always seems to escape. This show is a bit older then the others but still a very popular one.
Alvin
Alvin is one of the three chipmunks that are known not only for their ability to talk but also for their ability to dance and sing. They became famous when they found their way into the custody of a failing music producer and for the most part they loved their rise to fame. Eventually the realize that it is not what they bargain for and they start to live a more normal life where they attend school and hang out with friends.
Penny Proud
Penny is fourteen years old when the series first starts and is often embarrassed by her family as they are loud and boisterous. She loves hanging out with her friends even though they are often getting her into trouble. Penny is a great singer and even becomes a solo singer for a bit production company before quitting because she misses her old life. Although she listens to her parents she often acts very bratty when she doesn't get her own way.
Garfield
Now this friendly little feline is like most cats in the fact that he likes to lie down and eat for most of the day. However unlike most cats he prefers lasagna over all other foods. Garfield was born in the kitchen of an Italian restaurant and once he was born he immediately ate all of the pasta and pizza in sight. This is the reasoning behind his love and obsession with all Italian foods. He can be a bit cynical but does have a soft side.
Phineas
This boy may be young but he sure is a dreamer. When him and his brother finally get out of school for the summer he plans on not wasting a single second. Although they are basically stuck at home all day they are always having different "adventures" in their backyard. Phineas and his brother, Ferb, have some of the biggest imaginations in television history as they are able to dream up an entire scenario and day from basically nothing but a yard.
Squidward
Now this unique character is not one of the most pleasant, in fact he is not very pleasant at all. He hates his job, his life and basically everyone in it. However he does little to change it and whenever he gets free time he likes to play his clarinet or sit out in the sun. During the day he works at a local restaurant as a cashier where he is forced to deal with his annoying co worker who also happens to be his neighbor.
Bender
This robot named Bender was assembled in Mexico and seems to have a very big prejudice against all of those who are not robots. However he does make a few exceptions as his best friend is a human. He comes off as a robot who shows little emotions and is basically clueless on humans however on more then one occasion he has shown emotions which contradicts his normal clueless personality. Bender is mortal and has less then one billion years to live. What show is Bender from?
Shaggy Rogers
This character is always down to of anything, as long as food is involved. He has a constant appetite similar to his best friend, who just so happens to be a dog. Despite his casual attitude and flippant mind him and his friends traveling around fighting "bad guys" or monsters. He is very fast and can sometimes even run faster then Scooby Doo. Shaggy is also a bit of a baby when it comes to fighting crime and often is intimidated when confronted.
Snoopy
Snoopy is the trusty beagle of Charlie Brown and can be seen in all of the comic strips, movies as well as TV specials. He is a good natured and imaginative beagle who often finds himself imagining fantasy lives. Snoopy is also a bit lazy at times and has been known to mock his owner on more then one occasion. In Snoopy's imagination he always imagines himself speaking however he never actually speaks in any of the movies of TV specials.
Reggie
This twelve year old is a bit of a tom boy as she loves to hang with her brother and friends. She excels at sports but really dreams about being a publisher and is most noted for her "magazine" called The Zine. She is the only female character on the show and does not like being called a "girl" as she prefers to be her own person. She has very little interest in fashion and would rather talk about sports.
Angelica
Angelica is a very complex character for a couple of different reasons. She comes off as very rude and is always trying to manipulate or get the other kids in trouble. However it also appears that she is sad and a bit lonely at times, this may be the reason that she tries to bring others down. She is the main antagonist of the series as she often makes the other kids play by her rules and listen to her terrible musical numbers.
Gerald
This character is the class president of his school and considers himself one of the "cool kids". He is best friends with Arnold and often acts as the counter balance to Arnold's optimistic attitude. he is also very opposed to helping others, which sometimes causes a rift between the two of them as he sometimes tries to persuade Arnold from doing so. Gerald can also be a bit selfish and impulsive but at the end of the day he is a good friend who tries to do the right thing.
Darwin
Now this character named Darwin who is a chimpanzee but not your average chimpanzee. He travels around with his family and is best friends with a young girl named Eliza. He speaks with an upper class British accent and is always trying to be the voice of reason when Eliza is about to do something crazy. He is a very cautious one and is always hesitant when Eliza has some crazy scheme up her sleeve. What show is he from?
