Only A 90s Kid Will Be Able To Name All These Snacks!

Nowadays parents are all about their kids health - they pack their kids lunches with hummus and carrots, apple slices and homemade oatmeal cookies. After-school snacks are usually just as healthy - forget frozen foods shaped like animals and be prepared for frozen yogurt grapes and cucumber sandwiches.

The 1990's were a simpler time. Back then, kids could find pre-packaged kids lunches in their schoolbags and dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets on their plates after school.

Sometimes parents - or babysitters - were even too lazy to prepare a homemade dinner which resulted in the kids indulging in frozen dinners produced especially for kids (think mini pizzas and spaghetti bolognese in a plastic microwavable tray).

Even cartoon hour was accompanied by delicious but terribly unhealthy snacks such as crisps and candy that either made noise or dyed your tongue blue for two weeks.

While of course it is great that nowadays we are, for the most part, so health-conscious, 90s kids can't help but look back upon their childhood with great nostalgia.
