Only 30% Of Men Will Be Able To Name These Car Logos

The modern world has become what it is today, with most locations so easily accessible, largely thanks to the invention of the automobile way back when. If the visionary Henry Ford could resurface for a day and shake hands with a visionary of 2019, Elon Musk, that would be as enthralling a conversation as any. Oh, how we would love to be a fly on that wall.

As History.com shares, "Henry Ford innovated mass-production techniques that became standard, and Ford, General Motors and Chrysler emerged as the “Big Three” auto companies by the 1920s." Skip ahead to the 21st century, and there are far more than the 'Big Three', with companies from all over the world staking their claim on the automotive industry. Japan is a frontrunner, as is Germany, and even far-off nations like Australia have a hand in the game.

As for us regular folk (well, we're visionaries in our own sense, but might not have been given the credit just yet, right?), there are a certain group of people who think that they're a bit of a homegrown mechanic, and that a quick tightening of a screw and an oil change will somehow take that colossal dent out of the back bumper. Alas, for them and for everyone else, let's get stuck into it. Think you've got what it takes? We're about to find out.

Question 47

Name this logo!

As told by Wikipedia, "Many of [this brand's] early products were based on the Xiali, a variant of the 1987 Daihatsu Charade. Models such as the Haoqing (five-door), Merrie (five-door), Uliou (four-door), and Urban Nanny (van and pick-up truck) have Charade bases, but feature a more prominent chromed grille. A sense of humor imbues the names of some [of this brand's] vehicles. One sedan is called the "King Kong", and an early model was named You Li Ou, a play on words that means "better than the Tianjin Xiali or the Buick Sail", two of its competitors". Can you recognize it?
