Only 20 Fans Have Passed This Rick And Morty Quiz

Love Rick and Morty? Well, you're in luck because we have the quiz for you! Adult Swim's massive success of a show just recently finished its third season after an incredibly long hiatus where fans speculated whether or not the show would even come back. The latest season started with a great episode about Rick's escape from his own mind back on April 1st, 2017, a fitting date considering the show's willingness to mess with its fans. The remainder of the season wouldn't air for a few more months, so it almost felt like an April Fool's joke in and of itself.

In the event that you've been living under a rock for the past few years (or maybe you're a Jerry), Rick and Morty is an animated science fiction comedy show that centers around the cosmic adventures of a grandfather (Rick) and his grandson (Morty) as they travel around the universe and get into some really intense situations.

This quiz aims to test your knowledge of the series and present you with questions that will put any fan of Rick and Morty in the hot seat of their favorite series. From Bird Person to Squanchy, this quiz will hopefully have a little something for everyone!

Question 1

What sauce does Rick always want?

This question should be a gimme answer considering the widespread popularity of the episode it appeared in (season 3, episode 1). It was such a famous line and bit that McDonald's even ran a promotional event where they promoted the sauce. Granted, that event went horribly when stores had over 150 patrons lined up for an understocked product. As someone who stood in line just to see what the crowds were like, it was pretty intense watching everyone freak out about this sauce!

Question 2

What episode features TV from other timelines?

Every season or so, Rick and Morty has a great episode that takes a break from the regular style of the show and instead focuses on Rick and Morty watching TV. This isn't just a regular TV set however, as Rick modified the receiver box to pick up broadcasts from dimensions and worlds other than Earth which makes for some absolutely great entertainment. From Strawberry Smiggles and the Eyehole man to Two Brothers, each episode in this special is a laugh riot.

Question 3

What is Beth's day job?

While not out on adventures with her father or dealing with her idiotic slug of a husband, Beth works as a surgeon. Now the question for you to figure out is what specific type of surgeon she is! The first and second seasons of the show deal with her occupation quite a good deal, and it even becomes an episode arc when even Jerry begins to question the impact of her work as a surgeon, which probably led to their eventual split.

Question 4

Why does Beth shoot Mr. Poopybutthole?

The episode "Total Rickall" is without a doubt one of my favorite episodes of the series. It does what Rick and Morty does best, which is having an insane cast of characters get together and riff for the full 30 minute episode. In the episode, the family is trapped in their house while more characters populate the home in an attempt to take it over. One of the characters in the episode is Mr. Poopybutthole, who gets tragically shot at the end of the episode. Why is this?

Question 5

Who does Bird Person marry?

Bird Person is one of my favorite characters in Rick and Morty. His curt, brief responses and wit are often some of the funniest jokes in each episode and the fact that he and Rick have a long and storied history is the icing on the cake. The wedding episode occurs in season 2 episode 10 of the series and sees the family travel across the galaxy for the event that ends in quite the bloodbath. Who is Bird Person getting married to in the episode?

Question 6

What is the name of the family dog?

In the early episodes of the first season, there is a great episode where Rick develops a helmet for the family dog that makes him more obedient, but also self aware and capable of building its own robot army. The episode follows that whole arc and has humans become the subservient species, which was quite a bit of fun to watch. Overall, I'd really enjoy getting to see this character come back in some way for the later seasons

Question 7

What is the name of the Doctor who runs Anatomy Park?

Anatomy Park took many cues from Jurassic Park and was an incredible episode because it was literally self contained. Getting to see the whacked out insides of a person's body with anthropomorphized characters and events was a truly fun episode. The ending of the episode absolutely blew everyone's minds too when, in order for Morty to escape, the body he is exploring has to be enlarged to a gigantic level after being shot into space and subsequently exploded into tiny pieces.

Question 8

Who is this?

This Freddy Kruger look alike is one of the manifestations that comes from the dream scape created in the episode "Lawnmower Dog" where Rick and Morty go into a dream in order to plan their next move. This character populates one of the deeper levels of the dreamscape and exists to hunt and kill anyone he encounters as well as live a less than exciting home life. He eventually gets brought out of this level thanks to Rick and Morty and begins studying at scare school

Question 9

Who Sweeps the Vindicator's ship?

In the intergalactic superhero themed "Vindicators" episodes of Rick and Morty, we see Rick and Morty accompany the space age version of the Avengers on their missions. In the most recent Vindicators episode, Rick forms a fast friendship with the character who sweeps the ship and ends up making a whole diorama that Morty rides, thinking its for him. The real kicker of the episode is that Rick doesn't even remember who this character is by the end of the episode

Question 10

What is this robot's sole purpose?

This table gadget was designed by Rick for just one purpose, and that's up to you to remember what it was. The episode this gadget appears in is "Something Ricked This Way Comes" and is dismayed upon learning what his one meaning in life is. The character is also featured in a Rick and Morty themed Old Spice commercial where it gets tossed around and eventually destroyed by spray cans. The show's creators have commented on the commercial saying that it's canon.

Question 11

Why does Jerry summon Mr. Meeseeks?

One of the most popular characters in the Rick and Morty series is Mr. Meeseeks, who appears when summoned for a specific task and then ceases to exist once the task has been completed. This seems like a good deal for all parties involved until Jerry tries to summon a Meeseeks. Given that the Meeseeks is unable to complete the task, it begins to lose its sanity and slowly recreates itself over the course of the episode in a hilarious fashion.

Question 12

Who is this alien?

This alien appears in the time crisis episode of Rick and Morty where a singularity causes time to split and fracture at an exponential rate and before the characters know it, things start getting out of control. Before things get too far gone, the alien pictured appears and attempts to set things right. We learn that he is a time travelling entity capable of seeing all things and is also a celebrity guest voice on the show, voiced by Keegan-Michael Key

Question 13

What does Morty want from the President?

Rick and Morty's adventures tend to get out of control and there are times when the US government attempts to get involved, only to be hilariously duped by Rick and often times humiliated. This had led to the President trying to get back at the dynamic duo in a ridiculous number of ways. My favorite encounter is the fight that Rick and the President have. Throughout all of this, Morty wants one specific thing from the President. What is it?

Question 14

What VR game does Morty play?

When Rick makes a shady gun deal, he uses the profit to go to space's version of Dave and Busters in the form of Blitz and Chips. When Rick and Morty arrive at the arcade, Rick immediately puts Morty into a VR device that causes him to wake up in a body and the proceed to live the entire course of their life. The real kicker is that Morty is unaware that what he just played was a video game.

Question 15

What is the name of this Gas Cloud?

In the episode "Mortynight Run," Rick and Morty (and also Jerry) are on a mission to make a sale to a space assassin. After the deal goes down, Morty crashes into the assassin and ends up freeing a cosmic space cloud. Together, Rick, Morty, and the cloud escape and Morty tries to return the cloud to its home but eventually ends up being forced to kill it when he realizes that the intentions of the cloud are sinister. What is the nickname given to this cloud?

Question 16

What dimension are Rick and Morty from?

Rick and Morty is a show that deals with multiverse theory that there are in fact, an infinite number of realms and dimensions where every possible outcome happens and therefore anything is possible. With that in mind, what dimension do the versions of Rick and Morty we know best come from? Also keep in mind that this question considers the original season of Rick and Morty for their heritage, so use that to best recall what the name of the dimension was

Question 17

What high school does Morty go to?

This is probably gonna be one of the harder questions on the quiz! Earlier seasons of Rick and Morty had a lot of episodes set in Morty's high school, whether it was Rick pretending to be a student or when everyone in the school was in love with Morty. Summer also goes to the same high school, which is a source of tension for the siblings. Dig deep in your memory and see if you can remember the school's name

Question 18

Who does Jerry fall in love with?

Total Rickall has and probably will be one of the best examples of character creation in any animated series based solely on the sheer amount of people it presents in one episode and how they all interact with one another. It eventually gets to a surrealist point all things considered. In the episode, Beth has remarried to a man in an oldschool nighttime cap and pajama husband. Jerry and this character have a flashback to the time they were on a boat and visited the set of Star Wars. What was his name?

Question 19

What is the name of the Rick and Morty mobile game?

Following the incredible and bizarre success of Pokemon Go in the summer of 2016, Adult Swim hopped on board the mobile collectathon game, but did it in a way that evoked the original Pokemon games. The game is controlled like a GameBoy game from a top down perspective while Rick assembles his team of Mortys from all of the different dimensions and uses them to battle other Mortys and threats. It's a decent game by mobile standards and worth checking out if you haven't played it yet.

Question 20

What is the name of Morty's pawn shop doll?

During one of their adventures, Rick and Morty end up at a space station stop that doubles as a pawn shop. While inside, Morty falls in love with an inflatable doll that ends up creating Morty Jr. who is from a race of monsters on the planet Gazorpazorp. During the episode where the doll is introduced, Morty is notably absent from any family gatherings which is what prompts Rick to find out about the true nature of Morty's new toy.

Question 21

What song appeases the Cromulons

The Cromulons are a race of giant heads that travel throughout the galaxy to judge planets and determine if they are worthy of existing. They visit Earth and say, "Show me what you got!" The episode was great by Rick and Morty standards because it was really interesting to see how each of the different characters in the world responded to this new threat. Some characters surrender their religion and start worshipping the heads while Rick and Morty make a song to save Earth.

Question 22

Who is this badass?

The third episode of season three of Rick and Morty hit a high note fairly early in the season with "Pickle Rick." The episode spawned a series of great catchphrases and, of course, the fan favorite "I'm Pickle Rick!" that has been used more times than any of us could have ever imagined. In the episode, Rick has to deal with a mercenary who is as tough as Rick is intelligent and the two form a strong bond with one another.

Question 23

How are Toxic Rick and Morty created?

One of my favorite episodes of the season had to do with the scenario of Rick and Morty being separated from their own toxic personalities. The result are two sets of juxtaposing characters that exemplify the comedy between themselves in an excellent fashion. The episode gets even more intense as it goes along, when Toxic Rick and Morty turn everyone toxic and the worst behaviors in the world. How do these two characters even get created in the first place?

Question 24

Who is this?

This character is arguably one of the absolute worst people in the Rick and Morty universe, which is saying a lot considering the show's vast cast. This character is the king of his province and encounters Morty in a bathroom, where he is eventually beaten to death by Morty, who then returns to Rick and the two leave. This character's past is made known by the end of the episode, but those who find it decide to leave it hidden, which is seriously messed up.

Question 25

Who voices Rick and Morty?

Rick and Morty is really a technical work of art considering the two main characters of the show are both voiced by the same person. This is markedly more intense than its closest coutnerpart, South Park, because the dialogue heavy show is made/broken by how well Rick and Morty interact. The voice of these two characters is a close friend of the Youtuber couple H3H3, where they host a podcast and occasionally invite the creator on to talk about the show and his own life.
