If you're looking for a good clean cartoon series that the whole family can enjoy, Rick and Morty might not be the smartest choice! But if you like outrageous storylines, a little bad language, dark undertones, and intergalactic mayhem, then you're probably already a devoted fan!
The adventure begins when Beth's absentee father, a drunk sociopathic scientist named Rick suddenly turns up on her doorstep and she invites him to live with the family. Her husband, a whiny wimp called Jerry, isn't happy about Rick using his garage as a science lab, but he's far too spineless to do anything about it. Rick and his grandson Morty soon connect and start going on adventures through time and space thanks to his homemade spaceship and portal gun.

This character is only seen once, in the episode entitled 'Rixty Minutes', but he makes such an impact that it's scary. Imagine going through life with this mans degenerative neurological disorder that does not allow him to see or feel anything, but to have an insect infestation in his head instead. This is one bad, life-long trip that no amount of help or pharmaceutical drugs can cure. He sells stuff from his store that, for the most part, he cannot see or guess at their origin. Who is this alien rapper?
In this episode of Rick and Morty, they have to save the world from a giant head that wants them to appear on an intergalactic talent show called Planet Music. The losing planets get annihilated and the winning planet is left to go back to its ways in peace. In this episode, we meet a former college and now somewhat of a protagonist to Rick in the episode, 'Anatomy Park'. The character is an amoeba and is the co-founder of Anatomy park. The park has been built inside a disease infected guy called Ruben. But as the park's security and defenses fail they have to make good their escape. In this episode of Rick and Morty, the Smith family dog takes on a whole new persona as he suddenly becomes smarter after Rick places an IQ enhancing helmet on him. Things just go from bad to worse once the family pet realizes that the humans can't really understand him, so he decides to up the gain and game by boosting the helmet and then taking over the world with his superior brain in his dog body. In this episode, we meet a smaller, more hip version of the original lead character. Here he has decided to make himself younger in order to help his grandchildren hunt down a vampire at school. It is a somewhat cruel Rick that gives him his purpose in life and when he later tries to talk to him as a friend he is basically ignored by the mechanical wonder. In this episode, we meet the ruler of Gazorpazorp, the strong-willed lady that has hands coming out of her head and rules with an iron will. She will impose horrible penalties on those she thinks have broken the rules, penalties such as the silent treatment. When Rick and Summer are first on her planet Rick antagonizes her by making the sound that is not spoken of and she sentences them to death by a falling rock. Summer, however, manages to talk them free. Can you name this character?
Who is the eccentric shop owner standing alongside Rick?
This episode is based on the best selling Stephen King novel and follows along the same lines, just with that Rick and Morty flair added. Can you imagine a real-life Rick? That would be the scariest person imaginable, right? But how about a real-life Rick going up against a real-life Devil. Magic versus science. That could get hair-raising pretty fast. Now, this is truly a nightmare character, and, for those that watch this as an adult, you will probably recognize him from another cult classic feature film. This character is a monster that chases our heroes through the dreams of their intended targets, he can cross dreamscapes and peoples dreams. Rick and Morty eventually befriend him in order to ask his help in escaping from a dream inception gone horribly wrong. Can you name this dagger handed, razor-witted, blob faced character?

This mainstay character is the daughter of Rick and mother to Morty and Summer. If you watch the episodes you will note that Rick not only space travels, but does interdimensional travel too. Thus, every one of the Smith family characters is his family across all dimensions. But this character is more like Rick than she cares to know. Who was this member of The Vindicators?
This character is part of a larger team known as The Vindicators. The character is actually more than one and is essentially a sentient colony, controlled by a queen and the queen just manages his, shall we say, construction. He is also the least impressive member of the team, at the end of the day what can he do except carry away the crumbs of the fight, no pun intended. In this episode, she tries to remain the heroine to the cause but due to Ricks drunken preemptive defeat of Worldender, she ends up in a parody of the SAW series that Rick has managed to put together in his inebriated state. Who was this deep cover agent from the Galactic Federation?
This character is multi-layered and is not what she seems. She first appears in the 'Meeseeks and Destroy' episode as a friend to Summer and again in 'Ricksy Business' where she meets, and ends up going home with, Birdperson. The character is finally unmasked as an agent for the Galactic Federation in the season 2 finale when she arranges a marriage to Birdperson in order to lure Rick and his cohorts into her clutches so that she can arrest them. This character is a friend to Rick who has shared many battles, victories and suffering with him as a rebel and wanted intergalactic freedom fighter. He is first seen in the episode 'Ricksy Business' where he attends Rick's party and has a quirky opening line with "The beacon was activated. Who is in danger?" He has known Morty a long time as is evident from the episode 'Get Schwifty' where there is a picture of himself and a juvenile Morty on the wall. Can you name this character?
Who is this wimpy guy?
One of the main characters in the series, this character is the supposed patriarch of the household until Rick arrives back on the scene and he is then suddenly relegated to having to bow down to his father-in-laws devious family manipulations. Beth loses all respect and love for him over the seasons until he is removed as a perceived threat by Rick and he and Beth part ways. We all had that high school love interest who just wasn't the slightest bit interested in us, right? Well for poor old Morty, that person is this cute girl. This is the principal of Harry Herpson High School where Summer and Morty Smith attend classes (when they aren't galivanting all over the multiverse with their grandfather, that is). Eyeholes cereal is the very best there is (according to Rick, they simply melt in your mouth) but you have to take care when eating them. The cereal isn't dangerous in any way but there's a weird spandex-clad alien who is fiercely protective of this breakfast food. He doesn't want anyone else to have them and he's likely to turn up and attack anyone who dares to try and consume them (as Jerry did here). Who is he?

Some teachers take their subject matter far more seriously than others and this character is definitely one of those! This is Morty's math teacher at Harry Herpson High School and he's quite an unusual guy. He's passionate about numbers but also seems to prone to anger and often ends up screaming at his students, who he has very little respect for. In the episode 'Pickle Rick' it's revealed that he has an addiction to eating poop - eew! Can you name him?

Who is the ruler of Pluto?
In this episode, Jerry decides that he wants to take a more active role in Morty's life and insists on helping with his science project. When he learns that Pluto is no longer considered a planet in the solar system he loses the plot completely and begins campaigning for it to be reclassed. He catches the attention of this character - the king of Pluto, who (thinking that Jerry is a real scientist) kidnaps him and awards with a Plutobel Prize (that being the highest honor reward for scientists on Pluto). This unlikely character appeared in the episode titled 'Total Rickall' and although she might appear to be an innocent purple talking fridge, she is actually an alien parasite. In this episode, someone forgot to wipe their shoes after going on a space trip and tracked in a parasite that masquerades as false family members. This household appliance tries to pass herself off as Beth's lifelong best friend but it ends badly for her. Can you remember the name of this character?

Where there is money to be made you can be sure Rick will be there and the more outrageous the idea, the more he's into it. He found this vulnerable character and offered him a "yearly-checkup", then proceeded to talk him into having a miniature theme park built inside his body. Needless to say, things go horribly wrong (for the park and for this poor character) and Morty barely manages to escape from inside the ill-fated Anatomy Park in time.
