What has your favorite season of American Horror Story been so far? Let's recap quickly! In the first season, the Harmon family moved into the notorious Murder House which was packed to the rafters with ghosts, monsters, and weird guys in black rubber suits. Season two, Asylum was completely different from what fans were expecting but again wildly successful.
By the time season 3, Coven, rolled around the bar was set pretty high, but once again fans were treated to incredible performances by Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, and Sarah Paulson and even a Stevie Nicks cameo! Season 4 took us to the Freak Show, which was also, sadly, Jessica Lange's last season on AHS.
But thankfully we had Kathy Bates to carry us into season 5 and a new leading lady; none other than Lady Gaga. Gaga played the role of Elizabeth the owner of the Hotel Cortez - a very bad place to end up as a guest. She returned again with a small role in season 6, which explored the mystery of the Lost Colony of Roanoke.
The seventh season aired in 2017 and this time the theme was Cult, with Evan Peters taking the lead as Kai - a brilliant but deadly orator and cult leader.

We couldn't help but feel sorry for this character because he was just in the wrong place, at the wrong time and it caused him to be accused of a crime he didn't commit. Being accused of murder and locked up in a hospital for the criminally insane might have been the final straw for most other people but this character didn't let it get him down. He was determined to get out and live his life to the fullest.

This character was a ghost, doomed to remain in the same place where she had been murdered for the rest of time. She's angry and needs attention constantly, especially from men. We often see her walking around aimlessly with a cigarette perched between her fingers and her makeup smudged from fresh tears. Before she died she was a prostitute and she was murdered by one of her clients mothers, after the customer overdosed on her goods. What was her name?

Sarah Paulson is the only cast member who has appeared in every season of the show, an honor she shares with only one other actor; Evan Peters. Paulson often plays the leading roles and during the first four seasons, her character always survived until the end. If she wanted to hurt somebody all she needed to do was hurt herself; she would feel no pain but her victim would. After being fired from her job in the fast food industry she finds a school for other young women like herself with unexplainable talents and powers.

This character was a drug addict. He went to a hotel with a sex worker/dealer to score but ended up paying for it with his life when he suffered an overdose. Luckily for him, a hundred-year-old vampire arrived on the scene and decided that she'd turn him in order to save him because she liked his jawline. He becomes one of her many lovers and the pair live together in the hotel. His mom even moves in with him, working as the hotel desk manager.

This character was born with serious physical deformities but instead of letting it get him down he decided to make the most it. After suffering from ridicule he decides to make himself stand out even more, by tattooing his whole body (with the exception of his face, which he feels is too handsome for ink). He was a dark horse, someone who wanted to get to the top and was willing to do whatever it took to achieve his objectives. This was a man who slowly became more and more delusional as his power and influence grew and he thought nothing of killing people, even innocents, to enforce his message. What was his name?

Most people remember Neil Patrick Harris as the teenage surgeon on ABC's Doogie Howser, M.D or from his role as Barney on How I Met Your Mother. He's appeared in a number of films and TV shows, among them American Horror Story. He appeared in one season of the show as a traveling magician/ventriloquist who was more than just a few sandwiches short of a picnic, if you know what we mean. He was delusional and eventually became convinced that his ventriloquist dummy was a real person.

Ghosts are bound to the area in which they died and while some know that they are ghosts, others continue to believe they are still alive. So not only is he in a loveless marriage but to make matters worse he's also stuck in a terrible dead-end job with an abusive boss. When we meet up with her, she's working with a traveling show and her son (now a grown man) is an attraction in the show. Her parents, unable to cope with the demands of a handicapped child, abandoned her in an orphanage. When she leaves the orphanage she becomes a beggar, living on the streets. While living rough she encounters another beggar who is dancing for money and becomes enraged with jealousy. She stabs him in the leg, accidentally nicking an artery and killing him.

Before that night, he was a police detective with a wife and two loving children, but afterward, everything started to fall apart, beginning with the abduction of his youngest child.
