If You Can't Name These Cartoon Characters, You're Totally Old

Millennial and Post-Millennial tend to love all types of cartoons made for viewers of all ages, but those in previous generations tend to look down on the art form as the realm of children. From Archer to Sponge-Bob Squarepants and Rick and Morty to Adventure Time though, there is a whole universe of cartoons out there -surely enough for everyone to find something they can relate to.

Even with all these options though, Gen Xers and especially those who belong to even older generations often turn their nose at anything animated and dismiss even adult cartoons as immature. It seems even those who once loved Fritz the Cat or Spike and Mike's Twisted Festival of Animation when they were younger still snub cartoons now. In fact, you can often tell how old someone is based on how many modern cartoon characters they know and love. That's why we're giving you dozens of cartoon characters to identify so you can test your knowledge and see if you're totally old or totally hip. The characters aren't obscure, so if you know the show or movie, you should recognize the character.

Think you know your cartoons? Then try your hand at recognizing all of these characters, but be ready to acknowledge that you might not be as young or as cool as you like to think of yourself.
