The Mouse House has been churning out memorable characters and films since Uncle Walt’s first ever feature “Steamboat Willie” way back ninety years ago in 1928. His first big feature was Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs in 1937, and Walt Disney was off to the races.
An empire was born out of Walt’s vision - countless cartoons, characters, movies, and TV shows would pave the way for theme parks, ice shows, broadway shows, cruise ships, networks, and most recently buying all sorts of franchises like Marvel and Star Wars, along with all of their respective properties as well.
The company has been around nearly 100 years and has never been more vibrant and viable with every single week some sort of news (buying Fox) is happening, a movie is premiering, a new show is starting, or the theme parks are getting some new and exciting ride.
But the movies have always been Disney’s staple. Creating all of the moments that keep fans constantly coming back to everything else they own.
