It is common for people to say they are either a movie buff or a TV snob. People have usually grown up around either a ton of movies or a bunch of television shows. There are so many of each, that it is not surprising if you rallied behind one of the other. Usually a buff in either movies or television can take their history back to decades in a distance, or they can talk about movies or TV shows of the present day as well. They know the dynamics and plot lines of many movies or television shows not just a couple here and there.

Oh the '90s, when high school drama was so important to so many viewers. Dawson's Creek was all about big problems going on during high school. The audience loved every minute of it though. The heavier the drama, the more the audience was into it. It was a crazy show.

Who did not love Toy Story? It was one of the first Disney/Pixar collaborations, and boy was it ever successful. We all fell in love with the characters and their determination to get back to their best friend, Andy. We laughed, we cried, and we felt every single emotion in between too.

Boy was The Event Horizon ever a scary movie. It was about a space ship that needed to be rescued because the crew went mad and ended each other's lives. When the new crew arrived, they realized they flew straight through the gates of hell and there was no turning back.

Family Guy is a show that is similar to The Simpsons, as it has the same model. The dysfunctional family that goes through everyday life in a crazy way. Peter Griffin seems to push the envelope even more than Homer Simpson though. This show has also been around forever.
