Marry Or Divorce These Marvel Leading Ladies To See Which MCU Heroine Is Your Soulmate

The age of powerful and inspirational women becoming the focus of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally upon us. Pepper Potts recently went from being Tony Stark's personal assistant to Chief Executive Officer of Stark Industries, Okoye and her all-female Dora Milaje army have become Wakanda's first line of defense and soon Captain Marvel will lead the Avengers in their continued battle against the Infinity Gauntlet-wielding Thanos. The men of the Avengers have had their time in the spotlight, but now it's time for some girl power!

We'll always love Steve Rogers for his unwavering moral code and we totally understand why everyone drools over Thor's bulging biceps and Spider-Man's abs, but for us, it's all about the ladies of the MCU. We know that they're fictional characters, but we just can't help crushing on heroines like Black Widow and Shuri! Marvel's leading ladies are all so fierce, loyal, intelligent and undeniably beautiful. It's really hard for us to decide which MCU heroine is our soulmate, because we love so many of them. Luckily, we don't have to make that impossible decision ourselves—by deciding which female Marvel icons are wifey material, this Marry or Divorce quiz can figure that out for us!

Peggy Carter

Peggy Carter may have primarily acted as Captain America's love interest when she was first introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but she soon developed into far more than just that! After Steve got trapped in the ice, Peggy helped found S.H.I.E.L.D. and turned into a genuine hero in her own right.

Karen Page

Karen Page's thirst for justice and refusal to cower in fear from the crime lords of New York City inspired her to leave her secretary job and start working as a reporter for the New York Bulletin. She always does what's right and tells the stories that need to be told, even if doing so causes her to get taken by dangerous villains a bit too often. It's a good thing she's friends with Daredevil!

Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch started out as an enemy of the Avengers due to her misguided belief that Tony Stark was to blame for the destruction of her home, but ever since she started working with Earth's Mightiest Heroes, she has remained a loyal and incredibly valuable member of the team.

Okoye

Don't get us wrong, we like the Black Panther and think T'Challa makes for a great ruler of Wakanda, but we're pretty sure Okoye could take him in a fight and would do an even better job leading the advanced civilization! The leader of the all-female Dora Milaje army is an incredibly formidable warrior, she's loyal to a fault, and she never lets her emotions get the best of her.

Question 5

Agent May

Agent Melinda May is a talented pilot and one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best field agents. She's done a great job acting as Coulson's second-in-command, and it's an absolute crime that she hasn't gotten the chance to fight alongside the Avengers yet. We love watching her on 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' but it's about time we see her fight by Black Widow's side so May can prove what she's truly capable of!

Daisy Johnson

Here's another S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who should have been invited to fight alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes by now! Daisy Johnson, also known as Quake, is an incredibly powerful Inhuman with the ability to manipulate vibrations. She's also a skilled hacker and hand-to-hand combatant. Assuming she didn't disappear when Thanos snapped his fingers, the Avengers really could use her help!

Black Widow

The Black Widow was the first woman added to the ranks of the Avengers, and it's easy to see why she fits in among Earth's Mightiest Heroes despite not having any superpowers. Natasha is an amazing fighter, and her spy training allows her to assess the strengths and weaknesses of her opponents and manipulate their emotions.

Hope van Dyne

Hope van Dyne spent most of her life living in her father's shadow, but now that she's officially the Wasp, she's ready to show the world exactly what she's capable of. She is extremely dedicated to her training and wants nothing more than to be the best hero she can be, making her the perfect partner for the occasionally-clueless Ant-Man.

Claire Temple

Claire Temple has shown up in nearly every Marvel Netflix show because the heroes of New York keep getting hurt and she's the one person they all trust to help them recover. The "Night Nurse" may not be a superhero herself, but she might as well be considered one with all the times she's saved the people who go on to save her city!

Maria Hill

Former Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Maria Hill has earned a reputation for being tough-minded and by the book, but that doesn't stop her from joking around with the Avengers every now and then. Maria mostly acts behind-the-scenes, but since she's Nick Fury's second-in-command, it's clear that she's reliable and incredibly talented at what she does.

Shuri

It's no big surprise that Shuri has become a fan-favorite character in the MCU ever since she was first introduced. Not only is she an absolute technological genius... she's also hilarious! We all absolutely lost it when this young princess interrupted a serious meeting with the newly-crowned King of Wakanda to make fun of his footwear!

Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones definitely isn't your average superhero. While most heroes are positive and upbeat people with unwavering moral codes, Jessica can be overly sarcastic, negative and tends to drink a bit too often. She's far from perfect, but she still does a great job protecting New York City from some of the villains that threaten it!

Sharon Carter

When we were first introduced to Sharon Carter, she was just Steve Rogers' mild-mannered and flirtatious neighbor. We soon realized, however, that she was actually an undercover S.H.I.E.L.D. agent... and the niece of Steve's former love interest, Peggy! We still think it's a bit weird that Steve made his way down the Carter family tree like that, but Sharon is a great ally and friend, so we're trying to be happy for him.

Karolina Dean

All of the Runaways dealt with some crazy stuff during the first season of the show, but Karolina had to cope with finding out that their biggest enemy was her biological father AND having the lamest power! What good can a hero really do with the ability to generate light?! We're itching for some MCU-MCUTV crossovers, but we totally won't blame Marvel if Karolina doesn't make an appearance in the films any time soon.

Jemma Simmons

Jemma Simmons is a genius biochemist and one of the youngest and most prominent members of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s research division. She's basically the brains of Coulson's team, and we can't imagine where it'd be without her and Fitz constantly saving the day behind the scenes. If we didn't ship FitzSimmons so hard, we'd all totally be crushing on Jemma!

Question 16

Janet van Dyne

The original Wasp spent several decades trapped in the Quantum Realm, but thanks to Ant-Man and Janet's husband and daughter, she was finally freed... only to be among the casualties of Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet finger snap shortly after she was rescued! Her time in the MCU has been extremely short-lived, but we have a feeling we'll be seeing more of Janet van Dyne soon enough.

Aunt May

The comic book version of Peter Parker's Aunt May looks like she could be his grandma, so we'll never understand why the MCU version of this beloved character is so young and super attractive. We certainly aren't going to complain, though, and definitely don't blame Tony Stark for flirting with her!

Colleen Wing

Colleen Wing may not be as strong as Jessica Jones or bulletproof like Luke Cage, but she's one of the best fighters New York City has to offer and thus deserves to be a member of the Defenders. She's an absolute master with a sword and is just as reliable in battle as her boyfriend, the Iron Fist!

Misty Knight

Misty Knight lost her arm fighting to protect the people of the city she loves, but that didn't stop her from fulfilling her destiny as one of New York's many defenders. Equipped with a high-tech mechanical arm from Rand Enterprises, Misty is more powerful than ever now and is already putting her newly-enhanced abilities to good use.

Question 20

Nebula

Nebula once embraced her role as a daughter of Thanos and acted as one of the Guardians of the Galaxy's greatest enemies, but when she and Gamora finally settled their differences, she joined the side of the heroes and tried to take the Mad Titan down once and for all. She's definitely prone to jealousy and violence, but deep down, Nebula's intentions are pure.

Pepper Potts

Pepper Potts may not techincally be a hero, but her character development over the past decade of Marvel Cinematic Universe films has been nothing short of inspirational. Her hard work and dedication helped her climb the ranks of Stark Industries, where she now works as CEO. She also proves that she's no damsel in distress, and has saved Tony Stark's life as many times as he's saved hers!

Lady Sif

Lady Sif is one of Asgard's greatest warriors. She may not be as flashy as her friends, the Warriors Three, but she always gets the job done and is willing to do anything and everything to protect Thor. It's definitely tragic that Loki banished her from Asgard when he was pretending to be Odin, because we think she could have given Hela a real run for her money when the Goddess of Death took over the kingdom!

Jane Foster

Jane Foster is one of the world's leading astrophysicists and foremost astronomers, but we're pretty sure there's more to this doctor than just her intelligence. After all, she somehow managed to survive being host to the Aether, the liquified version of the Reality Stone! In the comics, she goes on to take the mantle of Thor, so only time will tell what future the MCU holds for Jane!

Gamora

Gamora has grown so much since we first met her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She used to be so reserved and emotionally-distant, but Peter Quill helped tear down the walls she developed when she was forcibly raised by Thanos and encouraged her to become the hero she was always destined to be. She's a ferocious warrior, a trustworthy teammate... and a great dancer!

Nakia

Nakia's belief that Wakanda should actively use their resources to help others in need opened the Black Panther's eyes and inspired him to break centuries of tradition and reveal the truth about the technologically-advanced civilization to the rest of the world. She is now tasked with overseeing the humanitarian policy of Wakanda, a difficult and incredibly important job she certainly won't take lightly.
