Anyone here have a sweet tooth? We thought so... While the dentists out there may advice their patients to stay away from quizzes like this one, we know deep down anyone with a killer sweet tooth cannot resist it. Whether its candies, chocolates, or desserts that we use to ease our sweet cravings they all have one thing in common, SUGAR! For centuries sugar has been something people have enjoyed, even fought for on some occasions. It is more addictive than most anything else in this world, but some how no one but the dentists is too concerned about it. That is fine by us! As long as we have our treats available we are happy!
Warnings: In this quiz we will take a look at some of the most sugary treats on the market, and it may cause any existing cavities to act up. This quiz has also been known to create massive cravings for any and all sweets. Please avoid licking the screens as much as possible, as we promise the snacks can not actually be tasted through this method. Does everyone think they are ready for this quiz? If so, get some snacks ready in advance, and enjoy!
Gummy Bears VS Gummy Worms
Let's kick things off with an age old debate. Bears VS worms. Bears are usually a bit easier to just toss back while watching a movie, but the worms are a lot of fun, they are definitely the ones we'd want if we were to play with our food. What's your choice?
Swedish Berries VS Swedish Fish
Now this one is a tough call. Both share the same awesome chewy texture, but the flavors and shape are quite a bit different. With the berries we get that one classic red flavor, but with the fish we have a bit more selection. What's it going to be, fish or berries?
Snickers VS Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Both of these are extremely popular chocolate options, so it may be hard to choose between them. Peanut butter cups are classic, and we are still not even sure how Reese's has made them so delicious. Snickers on the other had are substantial, no doubt about it, after one bar were full.
Milky Way VS Baby Ruth
Both of these classics are chalk full of delicious nougat, but they are still fairly different. Milky Way is a smooth caramel dream bar, where as the Baby Ruth is just as dream like, but more focused on the peanut angle. Both delicious, but we can only choose one! What's it going to be?
Skittles VS Starbursts
Fans of both of these candies are pretty loyal, so we are thinking this pair up may split the room in half. Skittles are super fun and easy, and well they taste like the rainbow, right? Starbursts are also a crowd pleaser, but they come along with those pesky wrappers. Which is better?
Twizzlers VS Red Vines
If anyone here does not enjoy licorice at all than we apologize, and just choose the one you dislike the least. Between these to it really is a toss up, Twizzlers tend to be a bit stiffer in texture which some may like, but Red Vines have always been a movie classic, so everyone will have their preference.
Jolly Ranchers VS Life Savers
Its hard candy against hard candy for this question. Jolly Ranchers definitely have the flavors down, each one packs a punch to our taste buds. Life Savers are kind of nostalgic, their flavors are basic, but there is something comforting in knowing that there are Life Savers at the bottom of every grandma's purse.
Original Tootsie Rolls VS Fruity Tootsie Rolls
Obviously, this is a win win questions. Both are delicious and unique, but a classic is a classic right? The originals are chocolaty and the taste has not changed since they first came out. Later on the company released the fruity version, which has actually taken off quite well. Do we stick with the classics, or change it up for a fruity chew instead?
Pop Tarts VS Twinkies
Let's take a quick break from all of the candies for a moment, and take a look at these two deliciously sugary pastry type treats instead. Pop Tarts really appeal to the masses simply because of the enormous amount of flavor options they have available. Twinkies on the other hand are true, and classic without needing any fancy flavors.
M&M's VS Peanut M&M's
Again, there really is no wrong answer in this question, but if we really had to choose which would we go for? M&M's are great, and can be a excellent ingredient for baking as well. The peanut option is just a little something extra for those who enjoy the nuts. Which bag would you pick up in a store?
Nerds VS Laffy Taffy
Both of these candies are just downright silly. Nerds are fun, and their flavor combo's are usually on point, but if we open that box wrong on the first shot, the snack is ruined. Laffy Taffy's (for those who have teeth strong enough to eat them) also nail their flavor options, and they even have a joke on every wrapper!
Sour Patch Kids VS Sour Cherry Blasters
Things are getting a little sour over here for this question. Which of these treats do we want to give us that mouth puckering sour sensation? The Sour Patch Kids are adorable for starters, and they has a variety of flavors. Sour Cherry Blasters are obviously limited in flavor, but do we really need more than the classic cherry?
Mike & Ike's VS Jelly Bellies
A tough choice isn't it? Mike & Ike's are classics, they have a great flavor and their texture is fairly unique, but the closest resemblance would have to be to a jelly bean. Jelly Bellies however, are not just any jelly beans...they are the cream of the crop, the top shelf of candies. What to choose?
Hot Lips VS Hot Tamales
Any Cinnamon lovers in the house? The hot lips have a wax type texture, that may not appeal to everyone, but they do pack the cinnamon heat. Hot Tamales also have quite a bit of kick, but their texture is maybe a bit more universal. To each is own! Whats your choice?
Milk Duds VS Junior Mints
Both of these make great movie snacks. They are both small in size and oh so munchable! Completely different flavors though, Milk Duds are chocolate covered gobs of caramel, and Junior Mints are chocolate covered gobs of mint cream. Both delicious, but we can only choose one, which will it be?
Sour Watermelons VS Sour Peaches
O.k, so these are both such obviously good options, we just had to pair them side by side. Probably two of the most popular artificial flavors out there, watermelon and peach. Both of these candies have the same chewy texture and sour sugar coating. The only question to answer is which flavor we like more.
Airheads VS Warheads
It is a real "head to head" competition for this question. Air Heads are great, but you really need a strong jaw to get through an entire bag of them. War Heads need less jaw strength, but you need an incredible tolerance to extreme sour flavors. What is everyone's candy eating strength?
Sweet Tarts VS Runts
Another close call...Sweet Tarts are no doubt the more classic option, they are exactly as described by their name and we've been enjoying them for years. Runts have a bit of give and take. The bananas are loved by everyone, but some of their other flavors have not been as well reviewed. Which so we bring home as a snack?
Fun Dip VS Razzles
Both of these are super fun to eat. Fun Dip is a project and a snack, it takes a while to get through the sugary treat, but it never disappoints. Razzles are a two for one type deal, they start as candies and turn into gum, how fun! Which of these would we want to sped the afternoon enjoying?
Blow Pops VS Tootsie Pops
Let's switch gears for a moment and take a look at the two best lollipop options on the market. Blow Pops are pretty large, so they may take a bit of work, but as a reward we get a great chunk of bubble gum. Tootsie pops are not as big, but they are also filled with a delicious tootsie center.
Kit Kat VS Twix
If we were going off jingles alone, Kit Kat's would have this one in the bag. They question however, is which would we prefer to eat? The wafer layers surrounded by chocolate are what make Kit Kat's so undeniable. The cookie crunch in a Twix though, is so unique to the bar. Which to pick?
Butterfinger VS Crunchie
Let's talk crunch factor. Where do you want your crunch coming from? A peanut butter like brittle surrounded by rich milk chocolate? Or perhaps a delicious sponge toffee which is also surrounded by tasty chocolate? A tough choice, but one we must make to move on to the next question...
Almond Joy VS Bounty
How does everyone feel about coconut? Hopefully good! Almond Joys and Bounty's are not all that different at all. They both have the same moist coconut filling, but one also includes a crunchy almond placed on top. The choice is yours, what is it going to be, almonds or no almonds?
Candy Necklace VS Candy Buttons
For this question we are looking at both candy, and apparel. Candy Necklaces are fun, tasty, and honestly they look good on anyone. Candy Buttons are more of a classic treat, less wearable for sure, but a really cute and fun idea none the less! Which one do you choose?
Oh Henry VS Mr. Big
Both of these chocolate bars mean business. They are both jam packed with goodness, either one would be hard to turn down. Oh Henry's have nougat, peanuts, and caramel all wrapped up in chocolate. Mr.Big's have peanuts and caramel also, but instead of nougat they opt for a wafer and rice crisp layer.
Hershey VS Dairy Milk
Forget the fillings for a moment, and lets focus on straight chocolate. Hershey is classic, we go to this brand for so many of our chocolate needs. Dairy Milk though, has an unbeatable quality level, some may find it a little to rich in fact. Which would everyone here prefer?
Creme Eggs VS Mini Eggs
This is the Easter show down we have all been waiting for. Every year the store's shelves line with these two classics, and everyone goes for their favorite. Some go for the chocolate eggs filled with the rich creme like substance, while others wait all year for the candy coated Mini Eggs.
3 Musketeers VS !00 Grand
Oh boy, this is a real tough one. 3 Musketeer's are light weight so they give us the impression we are making a good choice when picking these (even though their calorie count is just as high as all the others). 100 Grand bar's don't lie about who they are, they are chalk full of caramel goodness and do not apologize for it.
Candy Corn VS Smarties
We've covered Easter, now lets dive into the real candy holiday... Halloween. Nothing says Halloween quite like a handful of Candy Corn, but they definitely are not everyone's favorite. Smarties, are also a childhood classic. They are almost chalk like, but something abut them makes us keep coming back.
Whoppers VS Toblerone
Whoppers, have been around for ages and, and they seem to go in and out of popularity, but they are easy enough to like. Toblerone's, are one of those treats that we always tend to feel fancy while eating, the chocolate's quality definitely plays a part in that. Which to pick?
Reese's Pieces VS Hershey's Kiss
Now do not be fooled, Reese's pieces are a very sneaky snack. One would think that based off Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that the Reese's Pieces would fallow suit and have both Peanut Butter and chocolate, but they sadly do not. Hershey's kisses are always a treat, but it is true that they are basic, in terms of what the consist of.
Cookies and Creme VS Dove Bar
These are both extremely popular options all over the world. Cookies and Creme is just a well liked flavor, the bar it self delicious, but many choose this as their go to flavor in all kinds of treats. Dove Bars have recently become a smash hit, which they have their excellent marketing to thank for.
Bubble Tape VS Bazooka
A real chew off here for this question. Bubble tape is just a super fun way to eat gum. There is nothing too different about it other than the fact that we can roll of the size piece we want. Bazooka is just so classic we can almost taste it without having a piece in our mouths at all.
Cow Tails VS Bottle Caps
O.k, so these two have virtually no similarities, it will just come down to preference. Cow Tails are chewy and different from anything else on the market. Bottle Caps resemble Sweet Tarts in texture, but their flavors are all based off classic soda pops. Which would you prefer to munch on?
Gum Drops VS Gobstoppers
Another pair up that really comes down to personal preference. Gum Drops are a classic candy bowl option. They just always seem to be around,t though they are rarely anyone's' favorite. Gobstoppers are tough on the teeth, but super satisfying to get through. Which one are we picking up for tonight's treat?
Pixy Stix VS Pop Rocks
So, these ones are really both enjoyed by children mostly, but look inside for your inner child and pick the best one! Pixy Stix are just tubes of sugar we pour down our throats, and Pop Rocks are not so much eaten as they are listened to. What does everyone's inner child say?
Werther's Originals VS Pez
Two of the oldest treats on the market, but also two of the best! Werther's are every grandmother's favorite, and who can blame them? They are delicious! Pez, on the other hand is enjoyed by everyone, not just because they are tasty, but they are collectibles! Which is the better choice?
Rig Pop VS Push Pop
Another battle of the lollipops, but this one is a little bit more fun... Ring Pop's are great, who doesn't love both candy and jewelry? Push Pop's are also super fun, and they come in some truly outstanding flavor options. Which of these pops would we want to buy though?
York Peppermint Patties VS Sugar Babies
Another tough toss up of flavors for this one. York Peppermint Patties are essentially larger versions of Junior Mints, but who doesn't want more of something so delicious? Sugar Babies are not only adorable, but their soft chewy nature is easy to enjoy! Which of these make for a better treat?
Lemon Heads VS Orange Heads
So they are the same candy, but the flavors could not be any more different. Sure, both are citrus, but in the artificial candy flavored world, the two are not ever close. Lemonheads are super sour just like all lemon candies, while the Orangeheads lean more to the sweet side with just a slight punch of sour.
