Throughout the history of the wrestling business, stables and factions have been a pivotal part of the game. Of course, The Four Horsemen are always the benchmark, but groups such as The Hart Foundation and Evolution are up there as legendary collaborations. And then there's D-Generation X.

Conceived in 1997, DX were counter-culture, were brimming with attitude, were against authority, and were looking to change the business with their antics, behaviour and in-ring ability. And that was the key point - regardless of whichever incarnation of D-Generation X you look at, the members of the stable were all able to back it up in the ring, talking the talk and walking the walk.
