If You Can't Get 100% On These Pokémon Word Jumbles, Just Quit Already

Pokémon are some of the most vast and impressive characters ever put into a video game. The entire series is based around the creation of new cast members that then have equal importance to the games. While not all of the Pokémon are designed as well as others, they're all an integral part of Game Freak's franchise.

With so many Pokémon to keep track of, it's becoming more and more difficult to be a hardcore fan of the franchise. Rumors of a Gen VIII debuting on the Switch have been storming the internet, hot on the heels of Gen VII and the Alola Region.

Because of this, we understand that it's quite difficult to name all of the Pokémon from memory. That's why we're going to be doing something new this time around. We're going to take Pokémon names and scramble the letters up. Your job is to guess what the actual Pokémon name is.

Kipauch

This Pokémon was introduced in the first generation of the franchise. Being an electric-type, it was known for having a high speed stat. While it's not quite as strong as other electric Pokémon, it still has the potential to become quite powerful. That being said, it's easily much stronger in the anime than it could ever be in the games. It has one of the best designs in the Pokémon franchise, which explains why it has become so popular in the world.

This Pokémon was one of the only creatures in the anime who learned how to speak the language of the humans. Having spent the time to teach itself, it hoped to woo another Pokémon and build a relationship. That said, it was faced with setback after setback until it inevitably joined an evil team. From that day on, the Pokémon was a bit of a mischievous creature, only helping the good guys when it was absolutely necessary. It has a good heart on the inside.

Zrdaihcra

This Pokémon was introduced in the first gen. Being one of the most popular choices among trainers, it has one of the most celebrated designs. At first, it wasn't quite as powerful as it could be. That said, it was given a much-needed update in the sixth generation to make it much more viable in combat. Being a Fire-type, it can spew flames hot enough to melt boulders and generally has a serious attitude problem when compared to other Pokémon.

Znigewe

This Pokémon is one of the more dangerous creatures in the Kanto Region. Quite literally having a skull on its body, it serves as a warning mark for everyone not to go near it. Being a pure poison-type, this Pokémon is known for causing a lot of damage to the environment. Being able to secret a deadly gas that can fill the area, this Pokémon can easily bring any person or animal to its knees in a matter of seconds.

When it comes to water Pokémon, you'd be hard pressed to find one better than this. While it's more memorable for its evolution as opposed to itself, it's still a viable option in battle. Learning a lot of unique attacks to dampen fire, rock, and ground types, it's a popular choice among trainers in the Kanto Region. With the proper amount of training and development, it quickly becomes one of the best Pokémon in the entire region, and still remains popular.

Ronyhd

This Pokémon has a tendency to rush through its habitats and shove everything else out of its path. If you happen to be on the road while this creature is barreling toward you, you'd better get out of the way or you'll be crushed within seconds. This Pokémon was actually one of the first creatures ever designed by Game Freak. As a way of honoring it, the company later gave it an evolution in Gen IV that's difficult to capture.

Lbbursarua

This Pokémon is one that is often forgotten by the fanbase. The reason for this is that it's not as memorable as the ones associated with it. Being a Grass and Poison type, this Pokémon has the potential to be a powerful healer and tank in the battlefield. That said, it's not as powerful as most trainer would like, which is another reason that it gets shoved to the side. Still, it can inflict all sorts of status effects on other Pokémon.

This Pokémon had a fairly sizable role in the anime. First appearing as a wild Pokémon, Misty had tried to capture it. She failed and the Pokémon became emotional. All it wanted was for people to listen to its song. Little did the cutie know that its song causes anyone who hears it to fall asleep. Thinking that people intentionally slept through its performance, the Pokémon would then use a permanent marker to draw faces on everyone who fell asleep.

Ubtaz

This Pokémon is one of the most commonly appearing creatures in any cave. Most trainers will take a serious amount of repels with them so they won't encounter any more of these. That said, with the right amount of attention, you can easily train these to become a powerful battler. Using a variety of poison and flying-type attacks, this Pokémon has a high speed stat that it can use to deal high amounts of damage and inflict painful status effects.

Question 10

Kcudyps

This Pokémon first appeared in Gen I. Introduced as a pure water type, many were confused when it started to learn psychic attacks. As it turns out, the Pokémon has the potential to use impressive moves the moment it gets over its perpetual headache. Its constant dorky stance has led many to believe that it's a dumb Pokémon that has no use outside of evolving into a much more capable fighter. It appeared in the anime as a joke character.

Ipoget

This Pokémon was known for being one of the first Gen II creatures to appear in the franchise. First appearing in the anime, it baffled the main characters, as it was an egg that was unfamiliar to most. After it hatched, it was quickly realized that it was a new specimen altogether. Taking the form of an infant, the Pokémon needed love and attention before eventually growing up and gaining a powerful attack that it could use to defend itself.

Xnio

This Pokémon first appeared in Gen I and was a popular choice among the Pewter City gym leader, Brock. Having one of these Pokémon was an impressive feat, considering how massive it was in comparison to the rest of the creatures of the world. It was nearly impossible to defeat by Ash's Pikachu, so he had to come up with a clever way of taking down the Pokémon. This Pokémon became one of Brock's most loyal friends in his life.

Oeudegd

This Pokémon is a bit of an oddity in the games (at least, it was at first). perfectly resembling a sentient version of an inanimate object, it was the first of many other Pokémon put together with that philosophy in mind. That said, it was a popular choice for many trainers looking for a decent rock-type Pokémon, including Brock of the Kanto Region. In the games, this Pokémon could occasionally be found once using Rock Smash on a breakable rock.

Kemahco

There are a lot of fighting-type Pokémon in the world, and this was one of the first. Debuting with the first generation, it became one of the most nostalgia-fuelled fighting-type Pokémon of all time. It has some of the biggest muscles in the entire universe, being able to punch through rock and pick up hundreds of pounds at a time. It has a belt that helps regulate its strength, but it gets even more powerful once it evolves by trading.

Kbrao

This Pokémon is one of the most ferocious predators in the Kanto Region. Being a massive snake Pokémon, it's known for poisoning its prey before eating it whole. This made it a perfect choice for one of the members of Team Rocket, who would often rely on it in battle. While it's a menacing creature from head to tail, that's not to say that it's completely useless. As a matter of fact, it can learn powerful attacks that work well in battle.

This Pokémon is based on a venus flytrap. That said, it's a very large version of the carnivorous plant. It is large enough to fit a full-grown human into is mouth. It then digests and devours its prey with ease. Most trainers and locals know not to get too close to one of these in the wild. Having a series of useful attacks, it's held back by some pitiful stats that often lead to it being overshadowed by another grass and poison-type in the region.

Glenata

This Pokémon is a very mysterious creature. Covered almost entirely in vines, it is a creature whose real face is shrouded in mystery. Having cartoonish feet below its body, the Pokémon has a very distinct look. It's not quite viable in combat, only being used by those who like grass-type Pokémon, but it has quite an excellent design. In Gen IV, it was given an evolution that can only be achieved by leveling it up to 40 with the move Ancientpower.

Question 18

Rabadak

This Pokémon was one of the first psychic-types ever created in the franchise. Native to the Kanto Region, it was originally a difficult Pokémon to fight against. However, with the help of ghost or bug types, battling this Pokémon isn't that difficult anymore. That said, evolving this creature is a very difficult affair, as it involves you trading with another person. Considering that it's not easy to trust other people you don't know, people with no friends are stuck with this Pokémon.

Redaas

This Pokémon is beloved by water Pokémon trainers in the Kanto Region. Known for evolving from an extremely adorable Pokémon, this version is much more violent and territorial. It tends to create its home in hard-to-reach places to dissuade any intruders from getting to it. When Gen II came out, this Pokémon was given an evolution that made it much more effective in battle. That said, the only way to evolve it is by trading it with a Dragon Scale.

Lotrsme

This Pokémon is one of the rarest creatures in the entire world. Often sought after for its powerful attacks and majestic appearance, smart trainers know to be well-prepared before they tackle it. Often relegated to a Pokémon who roams the region that it resides in, it's extremely difficult to pinpoint. It's even more difficult to capture, considering the fact that it likes to run away a lot of the time. Without the proper equipment, you'll never add it to your team.

Nogradria

This Pokémon is one of the most beautiful dragon types in the entire franchise. While it appears more like a snake than a dragon with wings, its color and design make it sight to behold. It's also difficult to find in the Kanto Region, making it much more worthwhile to capture. Where it falls in popularity a bit is in the fact that its evolution doesn't reflect its beautiful design. Instead, it looks like something that belongs in Dragon Tales.

Ytslga

This Pokémon is one of the most popular ghost types in the entire franchise. Setting the standard for all ghost Pokémon that would come after it, it's an extremely crucial member of the series. Most Kanto trainers catch one in longing of its various evolutions that are extremely useful in combat. In Gen VI, the Pokémon was made even more popular when its final evolved form was given a Mega Evolution that had to be balanced later on in the series.

Snhrwesad

This Pokémon is among the cutest ground types ever placed into the series. Based on an adorable rodent, it was known for digging through the ground and having scratch-based attacks to get ahead in battle. After evolving, it would gain a set of sharp spikes on its back and sharp claws that it could use to slice through the competition. That said, it didn't stop the Pokémon from not being very powerful. Thankfully, it was given a new form in Gen VII.

Ihcura

It's not even that you'll see this Pokémon- and that has nothing to do with its power level. As a matter of fact, there are just other choices that people like more in terms of design. Going to the trouble of finding a Thunderstone isn't worth it for a lot of trainers. In order to make it a more popular choice, it was given a new form in Gen VII that turned it into a psychic-type Pokémon as well. Jury's out if it worked or not.

Question 25

Attarat

This Pokémon is often one of the first creatures that trainers encountered when starting their journeys to become the best in the world. Being extremely common, many people are quick to brush them aside as meaningless Pokémon that have no place in a competitive team. While that's largely true, an excellent trainer can take this Pokémon and turn it into the top percentage of its class, teaching it to use a powerful move that would, at least, be useful once.

Niostphlyo

As awesome as this Pokémon is, it's a shame that it happens to be one of the weaker ones of its class. Being a pure fire-type without any special stats or abilities, it's often outshone by other fire-types. If you go into a competitive battle, you'd be hard pressed to find someone using one on their team. That said, it still holds a place in the hearts of trainers in the Johto Region and remains a classic to this day.

Question 27

Rempae

There aren't many electric-type Pokémon in the Johto Region, which leads to a most of its trainers choosing this little creature for their team. Its pure typing leads to many attacks that you would expect; there are the standard Thundershocks and Thunderbolts, as well as moves that can paralyze other Pokémon. However, where it's really valuable is in its evolutions. Not only does it gain even stronger attacks as it evolves, but it also unlocks the ability to Mega Evolve.

Copnei

This Pokémon can easily be found hanging from tress in the Johto Region. At first glance, it doesn't look like a sentient creature that one could train to fight in battle. Nonetheless, it's more than capable of handling itself when the going gets tough. Being a partial bug-type, it has a unique set of attacks that most Pokémon don't have (not to mention that it's also strong against psychic-types). What makes it better is that evolves into a serious tank Pokémon.

Question 29

Ndurohuo

This Pokémon was given the Dark type in Gen II- a new type introduced in the franchise. Because of this, it was known as an aggressive and territorial Pokémon that had a hot temper. Being able to spit fire out of its mouth as well, only the bravest of trainers even attempted to catch one of these for their team. It gets even more sinister once it evolves. The flames it spits out are hotter and its attacks are deadlier.

Question 30

Resnattl

This Pokémon is one of the most unique normal types in the entire franchise. Most of normal-type Pokémon don't have many noteworthy traits, but that wasn't so for the Johto Region. Most of them were well-designed and had some interesting nuances that differentiated them from the crowd. This Pokémon was known for hitting hard and being able to take a decent hit before going down. It was also excellent at using the Take Down attack, despite the recoil damage it took.

Question 31

Ogramragc

There are a lot of Pokémon that leave an impression once you see them for the first time, and that's true for this creature as well. Being a snail made out of lava, it has a certain visual punch that some of the newer Pokémon simply don't have. Holding a shell made out of a big rock, it's dangerous to even get close to this Pokémon. Its body is hot enough that it would melt you as soon as you touched it.

Lontocw

This Pokémon is a bit of a confusing one in terms of its type. While it can learn a few psychic attacks, it doesn't actually have the psychic type (due to another bird Pokémon in its generation already being a psychic type). It happened to be an impressive fighter in the anime. As a matter of fact, Ash was lucky enough to encounter a shiny one and add it to his team, meaning that the anime was including the coveted shinies.

Raksymor

This Pokémon was one of the new steel types introduced in Gen II. Being both a steel and flying type, it could both take a hit and outrun most other Pokémon of its class. That said, it tends to be quite territorial and difficult to train as a result. The only way to get rid of it in battle is to get a powerful fire type that has an insane speed stat. Also beware of the spikes that it uses.

Dotliote

This Pokémon loves having fun and being in the water at the same time. It's can a trouble-maker on some occasions, which makes it a perfect match for the more adventurous trainers of the region. The payoff for training one of these Pokémon is also worth it, as it turns into a monster with a powerful bite and massive build. While not many people use it now (due to there being better water types), it's still a memorable Pokémon in the legacy of the series.

Question 35

Limarl

This Pokémon first allegedly appeared in the original Pokémon Red and Blue. In a leaked image showing its design, there were rumors going around that it was a secret Pokémon that was dubbed by the community, Pikablu. Of course, many players later found, in Gold and Silver, that it was a Pokémon that was going to be a part of the new generation and the sprite had leaked before the sequel's release. It also appeared in the anime during the Orange Islands saga.

Question 36

Guali

This Pokémon goes down in stories in the Johto Region. It's rumored that it is the guardian of the sea and will do anything to protect the Pokémon that live there. It appeared during the Pokémon anime and was a significant part of the Gold and Silver games. Learning powerful attacks outside of its actual typing, it turned out to be one of the most viable Pokémon in battle. It also happened to be one of the best parts about the Gamecube Pokémon games.

Question 37

Lefyabe

This Pokémon has a tendency to show a lot of love to its trainer, but its size will often get in the way. Being a bit of an emotional creature (in the anime, that is), it's easy to feel bad for it. That said, once it gets its act together, it is a faithful Pokémon and will fight to the very wind. Knowing useful attacks like Vine Whip and Synthesis, it can hold its own on the battlefield and heal itself as well.

Question 38

Kairou

The stories of how this Pokémon came to be are just as interesting as the Pokémon itself. Legend tells that it was in the Burnt Tower while it was on fire and perished in the flames. Then, in the goodness of its heart, the Pokémon Ho-Oh brought it and two other Pokémon back from the ashes, much stronger than before. It has a powerful command over lightning and is one of the most difficult roaming Pokémon to catch in the Johto Region.

Zirocs

This Pokémon first appeared in Gen II and immediately turned players' heads. Being the evolution of a Pokémon that already looked really cool, many were surprised to see that it could look even cooler (part of the reason was that it was given the steel type as well). It hit hard and fast, and was a popular choice among trainers, no matter how difficult it was to obtain. It was even big enough to get a Mega Evolution in Gen VI.

Gengar and Ghastly from Pokemon

This Pokémon is known for being introduced in Gen II as a solo entry (meaning it didn't have an evolution when it was created. On top of that, it was known for being quite the trickster. Still, there were some upsides. For starters, it could learn Confuse Ray and it had an impeccable sense of style with a sweet necklace. When Gen IV rolled around, it was given a Mega Evolution that looked much cooler, thus justifying the need to capture one.

Piltcese

This Pokémon went down in history as one of the best grass creatures in the entire series. While its pre-evolved forms don't bring much to the table, it learns a lot of useful attacks once it gets stronger. On top of that, it was later given a Mega Evolution that added a new type to the mix. It remains one of the most unique grass Pokémon ever created, being built for offense rather than trying to heal itself and soak up damage.

Pmotshram

This Pokémon is an interesting little water type in the Hoenn Region. Coming off the heels of Quagsire, this Pokémon also gained the ground type, making it totally impervious to all electric attacks (a common type of move used against water Pokémon). That said, it becomes four times as weak to grass-type attacks, which can end up biting it in the butt. Most people will choose this Pokémon for the Mega Evolution that gives it a massive increase in muscle.

Liahnut

If you travel down to the depths of the Hoenn Region, you may encounter one of these strange creatures. They often travel through the water by wiggling their bodies back and forth and will sneak up on any unsuspecting prey unfortunate enough to be down that far. While it's not very quick, this Pokémon can see extremely well in the darkness and can traverse the deep waters of Hoenn better than any other Pokémon around. It's also fairly difficult to find.

Siuport

This Pokémon is often found in the rainforests of the Hoenn Region. Encountered shortly before you face the flying-type gym leader, Winona, it's a very unique type of creature. It's known for having a necklace of fruit that can be eaten by other people and Pokémon. What makes it even more unique is that its fruit is much sweeter in the Alola Region, fitting along with the tropical motif. Some were disappointed that it didn't receive a Mega Evolution in Gen VI.

Sbsyregbo

Don't let this Pokémon's appearance fool you. Despite its cute demeanor, it has the potential to brutally murder any of its victims. Through its proboscis, it can inject its nose into its prey and suck out their flesh. They have to sit there and watch as their bodies are slowly sucked away for consumption. What makes this Pokémon unique is that it has a bodily structure designed to deal with extreme pressures, which makes it all the more useful in taking damage.

Chortci

We're used to eating a lot of chicken in this world. Most of those farm animals are dumb and easy to butcher for meals. However, the same cannot be said for the chicken of the Pokémon universe. One of them, introduced in Gen III, actually packs a bit of a punch. Having an internal flame that allows it to spit fire, it can easily burn anyone that tries to get too close. It becomes much more powerful as it's trained.

Tupsehp

This Pokémon is a haunted spirit that is not to be messed with. It can sense any negative emotions around it. Because of this, it lives on the consumption of the negativity of others, meaning that it's often found in some sketchy locations. Not many people are keen on training one for themselves, but they are capable fighters when properly raised. After they evolve, they become even creepier and have an entirely new repertoire of impressive attacks to get ahead.

Relmob

This Pokémon could win an award for looking like it doesn't care about anything. Based on the Japanese mythical creature, kappa, it tends to be quite the prankster on unsuspecting travellers. While in the water, it will often pull on fishing lines and knock some people into the pond as well, laughing the entire time. Thankfully, the Pokémon loses its pranking personality after it evolves. Instead, it gains a happy-go-lucky attitude that is reflected in a dance party that never stops.

Question 49

Onilone

This Pokémon is one of the more common creatures in the Hoenn. While it's not the first thing you'll encounter on your journey in that neck of the Pokémon world, it won't be long before you run into trainers that have one. Known for its impressive speed stat, it is often seen stealing round objects from any nearby travellers. It can carry objects in its massive cheeks. Because of this, many people have labeled this Pokémon as a dirty scavenger.

Question 50

Rijicha

This Pokémon is often associated with the stars. While it's not quite an alien, it is known for being able to make anyone's wishes come true. Despite this impressive ability, it has a big heart and can get attached to the people that find it. It goes to sleep for hundreds of years before awaking for a few weeks. Part of its power comes from a third eye that is found on its chest. It's unlike anything the Pokémon world had seen before.
