When The Walking Dead first premiered back in 2010, no one could have guessed how hugely popular the series would become with television audiences. People loved seeing the complicated situations and personal relationships that arose from the zombie apocalypse but the cast was a huge part of why the series resonated so well with audiences. Andrew Lincoln was the obvious star of the show as the main character, Rick Grimes, and people loved watching his personal journey from first waking up in the coma to going on to become a leader in the new world.
