Parks and Recreation was an NBC series that aired from 2009 until 2015. It featured several hilarious characters, including Leslie Knope, Ron Swanson, April Ludgate, Ann Perkins, Andy Dwyer, Tom Haverford, Ben Wyatt, and Chris Traeger. They were all involved in the Parks and Recreation section of their government. They show began with and then centred around Leslie attempting to have a park built near her new friend, Ann's, house.

Although the show does not only focus on this park in particular, parks and town events are a big part of it. Leslie works harder at her job than all of her coworkers combined, picking up their slack and making their town as great as possible. Since every character is extremely unique, the sitcom has us laughing with every line.

There is nothing missing from this show. There is romance, comedy, serious moments, and even some sadness. Babies are born, the workers get promotions, and there are even weddings. Lots of work gets done, but there is an equal amount of fun to be had as well.
