The cast was filled with a number of characters with extreme social awkwardness and their high intelligence created a dialogue that couldn't be understood by the general public. While it's definitely bothersome to deal with his compulsive-obsessive issues, his sweet nature and difficulties with registering emotion made people want to help and befriend him. The persona of Sheldon Cooper is so captivating that CBS has already started creating a spin-off series about his younger years. Young Sheldon is garnering a huge amount of attention and seems like it's going to be a big hit, with more than just The Big Bang Theory fans.

While all of the characters in the series have their own appeal, it's undeniable that Sheldon Cooper has the most interesting storyline in regards to evolving. Raj may be able to talk to women without drinking alcohol now but that's nothing compared to Sheldon proposing to Amy Farrah Fowler.
