Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of the most popular television shows of the last twenty years. Running from 1997 to 2003, the show boasted 144 episodes across seven thrilling seasons. The show's titular character and star - Buffy Summers - transcended her original billing as a feminist icon to flat-out become one of the most iconic television characters of all time.

Played by the gorgeous Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy Summers developed tremendously as a character over the course of the show's seven seasons. Starting out as a popular cheerleader who occasionally had to stake a lame vampire, she ended up fighting monsters, demons and gods, going up against the incorporeal being responsible for all the evil in the universe, and losing her mother and countless friends along the way.

But how much do you actually know about Buffy Summers? Do you know personal details about the Slayer? Can you remember what she said, what she did, and when exactly she said and did them? You're about to find out, as you try our latest quiz: How well do you know Buffy Summers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

Question 1

Before moving to Sunnydale, Buffy Summers attended Hemery High School. Which city was Hemery High School in?

In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy Summers, of course, attended Sunnydale High School in her final high school years. Prior to that, however, Buffy attended a different high school - Hemery High School - in another California location. There, Buffy would accidentally burn down the school's gym while battling the ancient vampire master Lothos and his vampire minions - and she got expelled as a result, which was part of the reason she and her mother (and, retrospectively, her sister) would end up moving to Sunnydale. Where was her previous school though?

Question 2

How did Buffy Summers kill the vampire when she was stripped of her powers?

There's an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in which Buffy Summers is stripped of her powers (we'll get to that later). For now, let's look at the content of the episode itself.
