How Many Minutes Will It Take You To Identify These MLB Team Logos?

It's not uncommon for a Major League Baseball team to change their logo every so often, unless you're the New York Yankees of course. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

The 2018-2019 MLB regular season is upon us. Teams are slowly bringing their spring training games to an end and gearing up for the grueling 162 game season ahead of them, not including a deep playoff run if they make it that far into October. Previous to that teams played 154 games up until 1961 and 1962 when the switch was made to balance the schedule due to league expansion in both the American and National leagues. Even still, that's a lot of playing time.

The logo worn on the front of major league uniforms is generally worn with pride. Some teams date as far back as 1871 as seen with the Atlanta Braves organization, and there are a handful of others with birth dates hovering around the late 1800s and early 1900s. With that kind of team history behind them it's easy to see why professional baseball is one of the most romanticized sports in the history of all professional sports.

So, you fancy yourself a baseball fan? Take this quiz to see how long it takes for you to identify each team's logo.
