Good Luck Remembering All These Places The Simpsons Have Visited

Despite the rough sketches, the shorts became a hit, and in 1989 Groening and James L Brooks debuted the Simpsons family for American audiences on cable TV. Over the next 29 years, the show has continued to see great success, officially becoming the longest-running American sitcom several years ago. In addition, in 2016 the show reached another milestone as they signed a new contract extending the show to its 30th season, which will be debuting in September of this year. The season will see Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Harry Shearer, Yeardley Smith, and Julie Kavner all reprise their iconic roles for the thirtieth season as the voice of not only the Simpsons family but also countless other Springfield citizens.
