Play Friends Would You Rather To Reveal Which Friend Is Most Like You

Not only was "Friends" a great show from 1994 to 2004, it was just a whole lot of fun, too.  Perhaps that's what made it so successful in the first place.  The misadventures were often times a little out there, but they also had a touch of realism to boot.  We all knew that most of their situations were kind of far-fetched, but they were also kind of relatable, as well.

Like a lot of other shows, "Friends" gave us plenty of phrases and moments that no one will ever forget.  Everyone who's anyone knows about Ross saying Rachel's name at the alter instead of Emily's.  And, at some point, all of us have wondered whether or not you could actually raise a chicken and a duck indoors.  Yes, we all know about Monica's wacky, overwhelming, obsessive-compulsive disorder and her freakishly strong competitive side.  But we couldn't help but love her for it all at the same time.  Viewers all knew that Joey wasn't terribly bright, but he was just so darn cute and lovable, that you couldn't resist him.  And Chandler ... Chandler was probably the most realistic character of them all.  Like most of us, he was usually just trying to do his best and protect everyone's feelings at the same time.  And Phoebe, well she was just that kind of free spirit we all wish we had the courage to be.

So, come on.  Take a few minutes, relive some really good memories, and find out which friend is most like you.  You know you want to.

Question 1

Would you rather ... drink the fat OR eat the trifle?

Really, really good friends will do pretty much anything for each other. It's not so much lying, as it is trying to protect someone's feelings. We all make mistakes, but that doesn't mean we need ALL of them pointed out to us. Just call it being considerate.

Question 2

Would you rather ... give Hugsy to Emma OR keep him for yourself?

Sure, some people would call it being selfish. But, others would also understand that are such things as nostalgia and sentiment. Just because something was special to you as a child doesn't necessarily mean that you should HAVE to give it up as an adult. Certain things just tend to bring back special memories.

Question 3

Would you rather ... take the Northern route OR the southern route?

"If you take the Northern route, there's a man in Illinois with a beard of bees. But, on the Southern route there's a chicken that plays tic-tac-toe." Sheesh, as if it wasn't a hard enough decision already, now there's all this added pressure as well! Road side attractions are one thing, but both of these are really good! Bees or chicken, bees or chicken? You decide.

Question 4

Would you rather ... hide all of Joey's underwear OR wear all of Chandler's clothes?

Even the best of friends can get into a squabble now and then. Okay-- even the best friends can really get into a stupid and immature argument now and then. It really doesn't matter who's wrong or who's right. All that matters is that everything gets smoothed over, misunderstandings are understood, and friendships are mended.

Question 5

Would you rather ... live in the girls' apartment OR live in the guys' apartment?

It was the "Lightning Round" and they won fair and square! That's why Ross was the mediator; he was the most impartial party. Sure, he's loyal to his buddies, Chandler and Joey; but Monica is family. Either way you choose, they're both good answers. The girls apartment has more room, but the boys apartment has the morning guy. "Morning's here ... the morning's HERE ... "

Question 6

Would you rather ... date Richard OR date Chandler?

Monica is quite obviously a catch. Once you get past all the O.C.D. and competition, that is. She's been with Fun Bobby, Pete, Chandler, Richard, and don't forget, Ethan, the kid from High School. But the question here is who would YOU rather date? Richard's mature and successful, but you've known Chandler a long time and who doesn't want to be with their best friend?

Question 7

Would you rather ... eat the jam OR eat the flan?

There's nothing like, "homemade." That's one of the bonuses of being friends with someone like Monica. It's not just that she's a good chef, she's a perfectionist, too. So you can pretty much rest assured that you may not like what she serving, but it's certainly not because it was made wrong.

Question 8

Would you rather ... date Tag OR date Paolo?

There just seems to be an endless stream of men coming in and out of that purple apartment! It's now wonder, really. First of all, every one of the girls has lived there at sometime or another. And, there was that brief period where the guys, lived there, too.

Question 9

Would you rather ... eat the lasagna OR eat the cheesecake?

A lot of good food gets eaten on this show, too. LOTS of pizza, thanks to Joey; a lot of gourmet dishes, thanks to Monica (okay, all the good food is mostly thanks to Monica), etc. Now, some would say it's not really that hard of a decision ... who doesn't want dessert first?! But, that's also a lot of cheesy, bubbly goodness, too.

Question 10

Would you rather ... have a duck OR a chick?

Yes, technically, you're not supposed to have pets in the apartment building. But it's just a duck and a chicken, how bad can it be. AND, if you think about it, they were rescue animals! Don't you remember the episode? And the news report? If nobody adopted them, they were all going to have to be put down! Clause or no clause, no animal deserves that!

Question 11

Would you rather ... have a chicken OR have a turkey for Thanksgiving?

Another question about food! What can you say, some of the best moments have happened around that table; or, around the foosball table for that matter. Remember? It was Thanksgiving where we got to meet Will and hear all about the "I Hate Rachel Green Club." That's where we got to see Monica go a little crazy after losing Richard and make waaaay too much jam!

Question 12

Would you rather ... work for Ross at the museum OR work for Chandler?

Joey went to work for Chandler and you remember how that all turned out. All Chandler did was try to teach him a few things about the job; but, before you knew it-- Joey was hanging out with the other employees and was suddenly married with kids and making play dates.

Question 13

Would you rather ... live with Monica OR live with Phoebe?

Living with either one of them has both it's pros and it's cons. Living with Phoebe would probably be much more fun, but you'd have to worry about things like buying furniture at "Pottery Barn." Living with Monica would obviously have more rules, but you know that no one's going to beat her service!

Question 14

Would you rather ... go to Monica's bridal shower OR go to Phoebe's bridal shower?

Why is it that everything associated with Phoebe (no matter what the occasion) seems like it would just be more fun; or at least wackier, anyway? Perhaps it's just because Phoebe is much more open to simply accepting the world the way it is and just letting things happen to her as they come. Monica really is more of a planner.

Question 15

Would you rather ... have Rachel's parents OR have Monica and Ross's parents?

Again, either side has it's merits. While Rachel's parents may be getting divorced and putting you in the middle of the whole, ugly mess ... they do have the money! On the other hand, the Gellers have been together for a long time and they have a bit more of the patience and understanding that some people would prefer to have, when it comes to parents.

Question 16

Woud you rather ... eat Phoebe's sandwich OR eat Joey's steaks?

Vegetarianism is one thing, but like Joey says: " ... you know when you're dating someone and you don't want to cheat on them, unless it's with someone really hot? Well, this is the same kind of deal. If you're gonna do something wrong-- do it right!" Could it really be that simple?

Question 17

Would you rather ... get married in London OR get married in Las Vegas?

Unfortunately, both of these locations have already been tainted by Ross's-- dare we say it-- failed marriages. But that doesn't mean that you couldn't have a blast (or successful nuptials) in either place! Mmmm ... just think about it, married in a foreign country with all that history and architecture! Or, getting married in Las Vegas, with all the lights and the excitement!

Question 18

Would you rather ... act with Al Pacino and be his bottom double OR act with Charlton Heston and stink?

Tough call. Two of the greatest actors of our time-- of anybody's time, really. You could be in the same movie as the Godfather, but you'd be doubling as his ... well, you know. Or, you can perform along side the man who played Moses for goodness sake; but, ironically, you'd stink ... to high heaven.

Question 19

Would you rather ... have the dog that has to stay in the bedroom OR have the cat that looks like a hand?

Pets can be hard. A lot of times it's a real toss-up. Cats are definitely quieter and more self-sufficient. Dogs are more vocal, yes; but they're also more loyal and usually more lovable. But this is no ordinary cat, especially for $1000. And, how much fun is a dog going to be if you have to keep it hidden in the bedroom all the time?

Question 20

Would you rather ... keep throwing the ball OR stop and have something to eat?

"Hey, you want to get something to eat? Or, do you want to see how long we can throw this ball back and forth?" It was Ross who asked the question and we already know how that all turned out. But, this time, it's your choice. And, either way is fine. However, it's doesn't mean that you have to go all Team Monica about it, either.

Question 21

Would you rather ... have Ross flirting with you OR have Chandler flirting with you?

Just because Ross is flirting with you doesn't mean that you have to marry him (despite popular opinion). However you may get stuck listening to a lot of scientific jargon like what kind of smells they put into odorless gasses. On the other hand, if Chandler is flirting with you, you'll be lucky if he can enunciate or even get the words out at all.

Question 22

Would you rather ... play ping-pong against Mike OR play ping-pong against Chandler?

Hmmm ... Mike has the experience and the drive. But, then Chandler kind of came out of nowhere and surprised everyone with his talent. Tough choice. Maybe it's all in how you look at it. Is it really about who you'd rather play against or is more a matter of who you think you might be able to beat?

Question 23

Would you rather ... date Joey Tribbiani OR date Ken Adams?

A ha! It's a trick question! Didn't see that one coming, did you? Why is it a trick question? Because they're one in the same person. The only real difference may be in the way he approaches you. With Joey, you'll probably get the standard, " ... how you doin'?" But, with Ken, you'll probably be lucky enough to get the beautiful story about hiking in Spain.

Question 24

Would you rather ... support Joey's big break OR tell him the truth?

So, we've had tricky questions and we've had obvious questions so far. But this one is a bit more of a moral dilemma, is it not? Poor, Joey. We love Joey. And he's always so happy. But this is kind of one of those defining moments in a friendship where you may have to hurt someone's feelings for their own good, or just throw caution to the wind and support them blindly.

Question 25

Would you rather ... buy a random meatball sub OR have Joey make you a sandwich?

You may have a hard time choosing, but both answers would probably be good with Joey. Because we all know that his favorite food in the whole world is ... sandwiches. While he may not be willing to share his meatball sub ('cause Joey DOESN'T SHARE food), he'd probably be more than happy to make you a sandwich. After all, he's Italian

Question 26

Would you rather ... smoke the cigar OR grow the mustache?

Richard may be older. Okay, Richard may be as old as their fathers. But he's still pretty cool. Everybody LOVES his mustache! And, even though not everyone is a cigar aficionado, there are those out there who do appreciate the sweet, fragrant smell of the tobacco. Either way, you're gonna look cool. You're going to look like Richard!

Question 27

Would you rather ... read "The Shining," OR read "Little Women?"

Horror and suspense or drama and despair? That's the thing about really good books. Two books, two totally different subjects, two totally different ends of the spectrum. Guess it all really depends on your mood. Or maybe what you have down-loaded on your Kindle or your iPad? Whichever is cheaper? Then again, maybe your looking for something for your MP3 instead. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

Question 28

Would you rather ... keep "Rosita," the barka lounger OR keep "Stevie," the T.V.?

Man, oh, man ... how do even begin to try and make this decision?! It's almost a symbiotic kind of thing, isn't it? What good is a recliner if you don't have a television to center it in front of? And what good is a T.V. if you don't have a comfortable chair to sit in and watch it from? You know what? Maybe life really is this complicated!

Question 29

Would you rather ... ask too many questions OR tell too many jokes?

"You were a delight to talk to. You asked all those insightful, great questions." "And you've never been funnier. I mean-- joke, joke, joke, joke. I mean, you were a hoot!" So, which is better? Or, which is worse? People just pretending to be interested in what you're saying? Or, does it hurt more when people are only fake-laughing at all your jokes?

Question 30

Would you rather ... drive Richard's Jag OR drive Monica's Porsche?

Two hot cars and one, tough decision. If you choose Richard's Jag, you know you may only get to drive it for a few blocks or so. But, if you pick Monica's Porsche, you're probably going to have to watch your speed a bit more. And, everybody knows how upset Monica will be if you make a mess in her car!

Question 31

Would you rather ... be married to Emily OR be married to Carol?

Ups and downs on both sides of this one, too. Emily's a little bit controlling. Or maybe a little bit crazy (because you haven't really know her that long)? But she is very attractive; you have to give her that. Then there's Carol. And, Carol is really more like your best friend. And you can be pretty sure that the two of you will end up with kids, at some point.

Question 32

Would you rather ... go off to Minsk to do your reasearch OR stay in New York and date Phoebe?

Ohh ... it's the classic struggle. You've just met the girl of your dreams-- and now, you've been offered your dream job. It's the chance of a lifetime, for either choice. But, love is a gamble. How do you know it will pay off? And this job is purely research. So, what happens if you go all that way and don't discover a single thing?!

Question 33

Would you rather ... date Ross OR date Russ?

Ha, HA! ANOTHER trick question! Hey, you're already on question #32! Way to go! Way to hang in there!! So, how do make this decision? Who's got the better voice? No, they're pretty much the same. Who's taller? No, that's not it. Wow, who'd have ever thought you'd have to make this kind of romantic decision based on a hairstyle?

Question 34

Would you rather ... get a clock/pen OR get a 1st edition of "The Velveteen Rabbit" for your birthday?

Poor, Joey. He (obviously) got all the good looks, but not much of the common sense. Kathy's an attractive lady, but maybe she's a little too attractive. Why? Because she managed to not only capture the love and attention of two different men at one time ... she managed to attract the two men who also just happen to be best friends, as well. Yikes.

Question 35

Would you rather ... be stalked by Brooke Shields OR stalked by Julia Roberts?

Why do the beautiful women have to have the odd reputations? The pretty ones can't all be this crazy, can they? But, then again, if you have to have a stalker, you could do a whole lot worse. Maybe it's not that bad. Maybe "stalker" is too harsh a word. It's not like when someone stole Monica's identity. Yeah, let's not go with the "stalker;" how about "odd" instead?

Question 36

Would you rather ... your name be "CrapBag," OR your name be "Princess Consuela Banana Hammock?"

Ooookay ... switching from your maiden name to your married name is kind of hassle, sure. But this is just a tad overboard, don't you think? Then again, maybe it's not all that surprising when it comes to Phoebe. What some might call crazy, she tends to see as "creative." However, you may need to curb your creativity if you don't know what a banana hammock is.

Question 37

Would you rather ... listen to Ross lecture at the museum OR listen to Ross lecture at one of his classes?

Yeah ... unless you're REALLY into paleontology, this one is kind of a lose/lose. Most of you probably tune out the moment you hear the word lecture in the first place. But, on top of that, you're talking about a lecture on dinosaurs and/or dinosaur fossils. One may be a little bit more interesting than the other; but not by much. Just ask the rest of the gang.

Question 38

Would you rather ... listen to Rachel talk about fashion OR listen to Ross talk about fossils?

We all have hobbies and we all have interests. There's nothing wrong with that. Everyone has something that they're passionate about; it's part of what makes us all who we are. But, at times, we all have a tendency to go just a little bit overboard during a conversation. But, again, that's why they call it a passion. If it wasn't so important to you, they'd call it something else.

Question 39

Would you rather ... party with Ross and Chandler OR party with Joey?

You are soooo gonna party!! Only, now it's just a question of with who. If you go with Ross and Chandler, there's a better than decent chance that you'll finally get to meet this "Gandalf" character. Do you have your snake-bite kit? Oh, but if you go with Joey, you're definitely going to meet more women. Maybe you just need to ask yourself ... "How you doin'?"

Question 40

Would you rather ... babysit Ben OR babysit Emma?

Perhaps age should be a consideration in this one. Are we talking about babysitting for baby Ben? Because that would probably be a little bit easier. You'd really have your choice then. Do you want to be Barbie or do you want to be G.I. Joe? Now, if you're going to babysit Emma, then you're probably going to need to know all the words to "Baby Got Back" if you want to make it through the night.

Question 41

Would you rather ... live in the city OR live in the suburbs?

The city is obviously where all the excitement is. Heck, you really don't even need your own transportation in the city; most everything is within walking distance, anyway. But, there are some who prefer the quiet, more subdued pace of the suburbs. There's the climbing tree out front and the white, picket fence. Just watch out for the houses that may be haunted. Just ask Joe.

Question 42

Would you rather ... drive Phoebe's taxi OR drive Phoebe's relaxi-cab?

Either one would be an awesome choice. Honestly. If you pick the taxicab, you have all kinds of options; drive by yourself, pick up some strangers (maybe make a little money on the side), who knows? On the other hand, there's probably more money in the transportation biz if your passenger is getting a massage at the same time. One thing is for certain ... Uber, eat your heart out!

Question 43

Would you rather ... have Phoebe's oatmeal cookies OR have Phoebe's grandmother's chocolate-chip cookies?

We're talking about cookies. Is there really any wrong answer here? It's pretty much just a question for your sweet tooth, at this point. Right? Do you want to ruin your dinner with some out-of-this-world oatmeal-raisin cookies; or, do you want to go to bed with a stomach ache from eating too many chocolate chips? Again, this is about dessert? Can't you have both?

Question 44

Would you rather ... date Bonnie with all her hair OR date Bonnie with her head shaved?

Bonnie is still Bonnie with or without hair. We didn't really get much of a chance to know her, except for that time at the beach. But she sure seemed like a sweet gal. And, adventurous, too. How many women out there would be willing to completely shave off all their hair on the spur of the moment like that?

Question 45

Would you rather ... get a massage from Phoebe OR get a massage from Monica?

This one is not so much about the better or worst choice (obviously). This one is really just more for fun; if you know about Monica's massages, that is. But, if you're a true fan of "Friends," then this is probably not news to you. "You know, I don't like to brag about it, but I give the BEST massages! Say goodbye to sore muscles." "Goodbye, muscles!"
