Famous for his pickup line, "how you doin'?", Joey Tribbiani is one of the six main characters on the American sitcom, Friends. The show ran ten years from 1994 to 2004, and is still one of the most popular TV shows of all time.
Joey, or Joseph Francis Tribbiani Jr., is the only son in his family and has seven sisters. He grew up in Queens in an Italian-American household. He became a part of the friend group by becoming Chandler's roommate. Joey's an aspiring actor, and does a lot of odd jobs between acting gigs, such as a waiter at Central Perk, cologne sampler, and Christmas tree salesman. His big break is playing Dr. Drake Ramoray on the TV show "Days of Our Lives". His character is killed off, however is brought back through a brain transplant in season 7.
Although generally well-meaning, Joey is not always the brightest. His two biggest loves are food and women, with a close third being the New York Knicks. Joey is a womanizer, and is the only character of the group to never have been married. He however can marry people, as he became an ordained minister for Chandler and Monica's wedding.
Two years after Friends ended, NBC came out with a spin off series: "Joey" that follows Joey Tribbiani and he continues his acting career with a new cast of characters. The series did not do as well as its predecessor and only had two seasons.

This episode aired October 21, 1999. It is the fifth episode of the sixth season. Ross had lied about getting the marriage with Rachel, that happened on a drunken night in Vegas, annulled. She’s furious, and decides to take the annulment into her own hands. She and Ross go to a judge, but the annulment is denied and they make a scene after the judge finds out that they were previously involved. They’re now forced to get a divorce. Meanwhile, Phoebe is babysitting her brother’s triplets with the help of Monica and Chandler. Chandler ironically swallows a part of a plastic toy, and Monica takes him to the hospital, leaving Phoebe alone with the babies.
