The Twilight franchise is what, in many ways, started off the public's obsession with vampires and werewolves. The movies were adapted from books but once the movies premiered it seems like Twilight was literally everywhere! The movies focused on Bella Swan, a human who was thrust into a crazy supernatural world when she fell in love with a vampire. Although it was like nothing she had ever experienced she never felt like she belonged more then when she was with Edward and his family. Things got even more complicated when she found out that her best friend was a werewolf. This led to a pretty interesting love triangle that lasted for a couple of years.
Eventually she was able to get everything that she ever wanted as well as an eternity with the man that she loved and their daughter. This dream life was not without a lot of trials and tribulations along the way, including a few close brushes with the Volturi. There were so many different character over the course of the five movies that even a super fan of the movies would have a hard time naming all of them.

This is the main character from all of the movies. She is just a regular girl who was living with her mom and stepdad in Arizona. She was happy there but wanted her mom to have more freedom to travel with her husband so she decided to take the leap and move in with her dad. At first things were a bit awkward because she had not seen him in a long time but eventually they began to see that they were alike in many ways. This character made some friends and soon found herself thrust into a whole new world.

Despite being the class clown he is also the strongest of the Cullen's so when there is something going down he is always on the forefront. This is the father to the female lead in the movie. He is the sheriff of the small town of Forks and takes his job very seriously. When his ex wife left him he basically gave up on love and never really found anyone else. He kept to himself but when his daughter moved in with him he was thrilled to be able to repair their relationship. Things were awkward at first but eventually the two got into a pretty comfortable pattern and learned how to coexist peacefully. He is very kind and intelligent which is why he is usually the first person that his children run to when they have a problem. No matter what he stands by his children and once Edward starts dating Bella he looks to her as the same. His family does a lot to ensure her protection as well as her father's protection.

This vampire was a bit different then the rest because he started off as a bad guy then turned good. But in the end he couldn't fight his temptations when he ran into Bella in the woods. He left to join a different coven after he did what he thought was right but he did not stay away from Forks for too long.

Her obsession with making the Cullen's pay for what they did didn't lead to anything good. The Cullen's knew her every move thanks to Alice's vision so she was never able to get the element of surprise. She follows the Cullen's for almost two whole movies before they are finally able to end the chase once and for all. What is the name of this character?

This is one of the Cullen siblings, she is a huge asset to their family because she has visions that allow her to see the future. She can see any decisions that are made regarding the members of her family so they are basically able to get the upper hand in almost every situation. She is very loyal to her family which is why when she leaves in the last movie everyone is confused. It turns out that she was leaving in order to gather more witnesses for when the Volturi came to accuse her family of something they never did.

This is the leader of the Volturi. The Volturi is basically the vampire government that dictates what is right and what is wrong. He seems to have a certain obsession with the Cullen family, especially Edward and Alice. He believes that Edward and Alice would be a lovely edition to his court because of their special abilities. However he knows that as long as they have their family they would never willingly join him. As a result he tries everything he can to split up the family but he is not able to break this family apart. What is his name?

This character helps Victoria build her collection of newborn vampires. He was in love with her and she used this love to get him to do everything that she wanted. When he confronted Edward and Bella, Edward tried his best to talk him down and get him to see what Victoria was doing but he was unable to feel anything but love towards the red headed vampire. This vampire came to Forkes when Carlisle and Esme set out on their mission to gather witnesses. They knew that the Volturi was coming for them and they wanted to gather some of their vampire friends to help the Volturi see their side of things. This character was immediately curious about Renesmee and despite his leader saying no he decided to take a trip to Forks to see. He has a special ability where he is able to manipulate the elements. This is why his leader doesn't want to go, he is scared that the Volturi will want him as well.

This little vampire is one of the vampires that Aro has on his court. She may be small but she is very powerful, she can bring a vampire to his knees in pain with just a look. However when she meets Bella she is not able to do anything to her. This angers her beyond belief. When Bella discovers that she is a shield and can protect her family from this vampires attacks this angers the little vampire even more. She is one of the most powerful vampires that the Volturi has which is why she is almost always with them.

This is Bella's mother. She is a little bit hair brained and crazy but she loves her daughter more than anything. She married a minor league baseball player and chooses to stay home with Bella instead of going on the road with him. However when Bella gets old enough to realize what this means she decides to go live with her father. Her mother is upset at the thought of not seeing her everyday but excited at the thought of being with Phil all the time. Eventually the two settle in Florida. She comes to Forks for Bella's wedding but is never really seen after that.

This character is the main antagonist of the first Twilight movie. When him and his friends run into the Cullen's at their family baseball game he takes an immediate liking to Bella. He becomes obsessed with her and sets off on a mission to have her. The Cullen's get a tip as to what he is planning and they all go their separate ways to try to trick him. Eventually he is able to lure Bella to him and he almost succeeds in his mission. Luckily Edward and his family make it to her in time before he is able to inflict any real damage.

This is one of Charlie, Bella's dads, very few friends. He is a member of the werewolf pack and often goes on fishing trips with Charlie. When they go on a fishing trip he encounters something that gives him a heart attack. He leaves behind a wife and two kids who both end up turning into werewolves themselves. His wife gets close to Charlie and the two end up becoming a couple. It is the happiest that Charlie has been in a long time and Bella can't help but be happy for her father. This young man lost his father at a young age and as a result he triggered his werewolf gene a lot sooner than most. He has a goofy personality but when it comes to his pack he takes everything very seriously. Although he is young he is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. When Jacob leaves the pack because of what they plan to do to the Cullens this character leaves as well. He is young and a bit naive but at the end of the day he has a huge heart and will do anything to protect those who are innocent.

This is the older sister to the previous character. She is a bit more reserved and seems to have quite the attitude but she has been through a lot. She lost her father and also had to watch the man she loves be with her cousin because of some mythical connection. Also since she is a wolf as well she gets to hear his every thought regarding his new love interest. By the end of the movies she is a bit different and seems to find some peace in the things that have happened to her. What is her name?

This character is another member of the Volturi. He is a bit darker then the rest as he seems to enjoy the parts of his job that most would not. He is always willing to be the one that goes to seek out vampires who have done something wrong. Although he is a very old and powerful vampires he still does what Aro tells him even when he doesn't want to. This is yet another member of the Volturi, he is the twin brother to Jane. Like his sister he is very powerful and a huge part in the Volturi's ability to control the vampire population. He is able to emit a smoke from his hands that completely deprives them of their senses. This combined with his sisters ability to inflict pain with just a look gives their enemies slim to none chance of escaping. Although he appears to be very young is actually a very old vampire that has been around for longer than most. What is the name of this character?

This is one of Carlisle and Esme's oldest friends. He is a nomadic vampire that doesn't really trust anyone, especially the Volturi. When Carlisle and Esme go out in search of witnesses he is very hesitant to agree to come to Forks. Eventually they are able to convince him but he ends up leaving before the Volturi even arrive because he was afraid that they would retaliate against anyone that was there. However before he leaves he does see all of the different abilities of the different vampires and seems pretty amazed at what they can do. What is the name of this character?

This is yet another vampire who arrived in Forkes to serve as a witness for the Cullens when the Volturi decided to make a visit. However he did not go there just to bear witness to what was happening, instead he was looking forward to dishing out decades and decades worth of revenge. When he didn't get the battle that he was looking for he left with his friend without much of a goodbye. He was disappointed that the Cullens chose to remain civil instead of ending the Volturi's reign once and for all. What is the name of this character?

This is another vampire who came to the small town of Forks to act as a witness for the Cullen family. Her and her coven traveled all the way from Ireland, they were very nervous and hesitant but they decided to stay nonetheless. They didn't really say much throughout the movie they were in but her coven consisted of herself, her husband and their daughter. They tended to keep to themselves. Despite this they followed through on their agreement to act as a witness for the Cullen's because of their friendship with Esme and Carlisle. What is the name of this character?

This little vampire was one of the vampire's that was created by Victoria. Despite some of the other vampires she was scared of who she was and did not intend to hurt anyone. Carlisle and Esme saw that she was harmless so they decided to spare her life and welcome her into their coven like they did with all of their other family members. This would prove to be very helpful in the likelihood that the Volturi did not come to the town just to talk to the Cullen's. She agreed that if things took a turn for the worse she would help the Cullen's defend her, even if the end result was not what they hoped for.

When Laurent wants to be set on the straight and narrow he joins this coven, the two vampires fall in love so when he doesn't return from his trip to Forks she begins to blame the Cullens. She reports them to the Volturi which is what lands them in such hot water. Once she arrives she sees the error of her ways and tries to make things right.

This is yet another member of the Denali Coven. He is like Carlisle in many ways which is why they are so close. He is calm and collected but will also defend his family when need be. When Edward first arrives at their home to tell them about his daughter they are worried and shocked that he would create an immortal child. Since they are basically family they agree to meet her and eventually see that they were wrong. She is not an immortal child so they agree to come to Forks and bear witness to whatever happens between the Cullen's and the Volturi.

This is one of the first humans that Bella meets when she first starts at her new school. He is very friendly and helpful, he even develops a small crush on her at first. Although Bella thinks he is great and is thankful for his friendship she doesn't have any romantic feelings towards him. He tries his best to think about the whole pack and not just himself. Although Jacob originally turned down the position as leader when this character makes a decision that he doesn't agree with he decides to break off from the pack. They two have words and seem to go their own way but eventually the reconcile. This character and Jacob decide to both be leaders of the pack seeing as they are both strong willed.

This woman is the lady that the leader of the werewolf pack, Sam, imprinted on. She is kind and seems to have a very sweet soul. Although her and Sam are completely in love she bears a huge scar on her face from a time that he lost his temper. He changed right in front of her and that scar is a reminder of what he did. She seems to have moved past it and tries her best to make everyone feel welcome, even Bella. Although it is not her fault she stole Sam away from her cousin which causes a lot of tension among the pack.
