Jim Halpert is easily one of the more loveable cast members that appeared on The Office. We fell in love with the way that he loves Pam, and laughed when he relentlessly pranked his co-workers. Every episode that Jim was a part of, was either hysterically funny, or had us feeling some type of way. He is truly the type of guy any girl would want to end up with. I mean, who waits YEARS just to go on a date with some girl that he worked with? He knew from the very beginning, what she would mean to him. For his dogs, he would ring a bell, and feed them. When the bell rang without food, the dogs still behaved as if they were getting fed. In this scene, Jim practices this experiment on Dwight, the food, being an altoid. Every time Jim makes this sound, he offers Dwight a mint, and it works!

During the episode A.A.R.M., the penultimate episode in the series, Pam is feeling pretty terrible. With Athlead taking off finally, she feels as if she held Jim back from his dreams. He stepped back from his job for her, to come back to Dunder Mifflin and be home more. Pam admits that she feels she is not enough for him, and that he will have regrets later. He does this super romantic thing, to convince her of how much she means to him.

During the two part episode, The Finale, Dwight asked Jim to be his Bestest Mensch, or his best man. In Dwight's world, this means the activities leading up to the wedding are full of surprises and pranks. These pranks Jim planned out involved making up with old friends like Kevin, The things Jim had come up with are mostly good surprises, or Guten Pranken. Jim planned something that was extensively elaborate, as both a surprise for Dwight, and a 'prank.'
Who wants to set Jim up with his daughter, but also thinks he is gay?
This interaction was pretty strange for Jim. One of the employees of The Office, approached him in the kitchen. The two were playing scrabble, and just talking. This person, told Jim, "Hey, I wanna set you up with my daughter." Jim calmly responded that he was engaged to Pam. The cast member's response to this was, "I thought you were gay." It leads us to the question, and Jim also, why would you want to set them up if you think Jim is gay?
What night does Jim confess his feelings for Pam?
During the second season finale, we see this interaction between Jim and Pam. This conversation, begins with Jim confessing to Pam how he feels. He tells her that he's loved her, and that he wants more from their relationship. This leads to Pam telling him she values him as a friend, and apologizing for crossing lines. Jim is upset, and Pam cries in The Office. Pam goes to call her mom, and we speculate the Pam feels the same way at this point!

We waited for three seasons for Jim and Pam just to go on a date! Then we waited until the first episode of season five for the engagement to happen! They had planned to wait to get engaged, until after Pam came home from spending the summer in New York for her art program, to avoid spending the start of their engagement apart.
