Even Elsa And Anna Can't Answer These Frozen Questions

Frozen is an animated Disney movie that was released back in 2013. It features two sisters - Anna and Elsa who struggle to reconnect as young women for they had a troublesome past. As children, Elsa and Anna would spend each day together, most of which involved Elsa's special ice power. After an tragic accident that could have done serious damage to Anna, the King and Queen decided it would be best for Elsa to conceal her magic so she could learn to control it.

Unfortunately for Elsa, as she grew older she began to fear her magic - which only seemed to increase its power and danger. Shutting out Anna completely from her life, the young sister had to learn to entertain herself. But after the demise of their parents, the lonely started to take its effect on both siblings. Finally at the coronation, Anna mustered up the courage to finally confront her sister about what happened between them. From that moment their lives changed forever. Elsa lost control - not only in front of her sibling but in front of the entire kingdom.

It took a reindeer, an ice harvester, a snow monster, a villain trying to steal the crown and a talking snowman in order to restore Arendelle to its original grace.

Question 1

What is the name of Anna and Elsa’s kingdom?

Frozen is a Disney animated film about two sisters who unfortunately grew apart from a very young age. Anna, the youngest, wasn’t entirely sure what she had done to Elsa to make her shut her out, and was forced to roam the castle alone each and every day. What made matters worse was the fact that for some reason there was also limited staff to entertain her, and the gates were closed prohibiting their people from entering the castle whenever they desired.

Question 2

What was Anna doing that caused Elsa to accidentally hit her with her powers as children?

As it was mentioned in the previous question, Elsa and Anna unfortunately grew apart as young children. They were put into their own rooms because Elsa hid for the most part, and never played with her young sister again. Anna had no idea what happened. In all actuality, there was an accident one evening with the girls that seriously injured Anna. She was hit with Elsa’s ice magic and a strand of her hair was permanently turned white because of it.

Question 3

Who knew the rock trolls could heal Anna?

While Elsa and Anna were playing one early morning in one of the ballrooms, their innocent fun turned into a tragedy when Elsa unintentionally struck her sister with her magic. Anna fell to the ground and was unconscious, causing Elsa to scream and cry for her parents help. Question 4

What is the name of Kristoff’s reindeer?

The audience is introduced to young Kristoff in the beginning scenes of the movie. A group of men were working somewhere in the mountains as ice harvesters, and Kristoff and his reindeer were eagerly watching from the sidelines, and even managed to carve out one block of ice themselves. It’s unclear if one of these ice harvesters was Kristoff’s father or relative of some kind, because he was quite young to be out on his own – especially in such a secluded place.

Question 5

What happened to the king and queen?

Frozen wouldn’t be a Disney movie without one or both parents dying. It’s such a weird thing to be a recurring theme in children’s films, but it is something that happens in almost every film. Even if they don’t die in the actual movie, their absence is commented on. In Frozen, the King and Queen of Arendelle were around for the beginning scenes of the movie. They were able to raise Anna and Elsa until they reached their teenage years, which is when tragedy struck.

Question 6

Why did Anna think Elsa was a germaphobe?

As it was mentioned before, Elsa and Anna did not have the best relationship growing up after the unfortunate accident that resulted in Anna losing her memories. She had forgotten her older sister ever had ice powers, or the fact that she was injured by such magic. Luckily the elder troll was kind enough to leave the memories she had with Elsa before she shut her out of her life completely. It wasn’t until the coronation that the pair finally had a proper conversation, although it didn’t go over well.

Question 7

Where did Kristoff grow up?

Kristoff was introduced early on in the movie as a child, where he was seen working with some of the older ice harvesters. It has never really been said about what Kristoff could’ve been doing there – if he possibly knew one of the men working and was just tagging along. Evidently he followed the ice trail to see what all the commotion was about.

With Anna’s persistence, Elsa accidentally reveals her magic and abruptly flees the kingdom out of fear.

Question 10
