If you're a Dragon Ball Z fan, that means you've been hit by the same wave of obsession that has washed over millions around the world like you. This is no normal wave of fandom: being a DBZ fan means powering up in your bedroom alone, screaming at the top of your lungs; it means attempting to build a time machine in a cave from scraps; jumping off a cliff, whistling to the wind and shouting, "Flying Nimbus!"
Of course, it also means wondering what a scouter might say about your power level. That would be a nifty piece of info to have, wouldn't it? With a scouter reading, you won't need to keep getting into bar fights night after night to see who's best. You'd just know, thanks to the beeping of a few numbers.
Well, since we can see that you're such a dedicated Dragon Ball Z follower, we'll do you a little favor. We happen to have a real scouter right here, in our pocket. Don't ask us how we got it, but yes, it does work. One push of a button, and your power level will be laid out, nice and clear.

Goku or Vegeta?
You know these two, don't you? That's Goku on the left, Vegeta on the right. Here they are against each other, and it's not the first time, either. We're sure it's also not the first time that you've thought about which of these Saiyans is your favorite.
Master Roshi or Kami?
It's a battle of the senseis, featuring the perverted old Master Roshi and the not nearly so perverted old Kami. Each of these masters passed on great knowledge and power to our DBZ warriors, but what have they passed on to you?
Yamcha or Krillin?
Yamcha is getting kicked to the ground once again, and it doesn't look like he's going to get up, once again. You already know what to expect out of old Yamcha. And there's Krillin, readying his Destructo Disk attack. Which is your fave?
Cell or Frieza?
Cell and Frieza, two grand outlandish villains of the DBZ series, have met again in this quiz to battle for your favor. We know you want to pick both these villains, but we've made that impossible. Just rip the bandage off and choose.
Tien or Chiaotzu?
Tien is powering up his strongest attack, looking to take out Cell once and for all. He'll soon find out the hard way that he can't do more than hold him back for a few seconds, which is better than nothing. Chiaotzu agrees. Which of these two is your favorite?
Gregory or Bubbles?
Gregory or Bubbles, who will it be? Both of King Kai's best friends (well, pretty much his only friends, and his only neighbors on his planet) have helped our Z warriors evolve in their strength and speed - which will you choose.
Recoome or Guldo?
Recoome and Guldo are, of course, two members of the Ginyu Force. These doofs came to Namek in order to help Frieza kill his opposers on the planet and find the Dragon Balls. One of them is much stronger than the other, but that might not matter to you.
Piccolo or Trunks?
Piccolo is an incredibly strong Namek, and he's quite smart, some would say that he's even cool. However, those are all adjectives we can apply to Trunks, and we knew that from the moment we saw him destroy the Frieza family.
Bulma or Android 18?
Bulma and Android 18 are both great characters in their own ways. Bulma is more renowned for her brains, having built an assortment of gadgets with little effort at all (one of these was a time machine). Meanwhile, Android 18 kicked the lights out of Vegeta, which was funny.
Goten or Gohan?
Goten is an incredibly strong, incredibly young Saiyan, the youngest to have ever reached the Super Saiyan level. Gohan is also incredibly strong in his own right, being a direct heir to his father's Saiyan bloodline.
Videl or Chi-Chi?
Videl is Goku's love interest in the start of the third saga, but Chi Chi is Gohan's mother. Which of these ladies is more important to Gohan? Actually, which of them is more important to you? Hopefully it's Chi Chi, since she looks mad.
King Cold or Mr. Popo?
King Cold was trashed by Trunks really soon after he was introduced to the show, but that might not affect your estimation of him. Maybe you like characters who died in no time at all. Or maybe you prefer quiet cats like Mr. Popo. Let's find out.
Gogeta or Vegito?

The Ginyu Force is in full... force, this time featuring Burter in the blue corner and Jeice in the red. You already know that the Blue demon is known for his speed, while Jeice throws a wicked curve ball. But who is the better Z villain to you?
Buu or King Kai?
Here are two fully formed DBZ charcters, Buu and old King Kai. They serve different roles in the show, but they're similar in more than one way. You can only pick one here, so go ahead and choose your favorite.
Android 17 or Android 19?
Android 17 is an incredibly powerful android created by Dr. Gero to destroy Goku and help him conquer the world. As it turns out, the exact same description can be applied to Android 19, though their power levels vary significantly.
Raditz or Nappa?
Raditz is the cocky older sibling of Goku who descends on Earth to teach his baby brother a lesson. Nappa is the even cockier Saiyan bully who gets sent to the next world after Vegeta got bored of him. Which of these early DBZ villains is your favorite?
Kid Buu or Broly?
As a true DBZ fan, you know that there were several variations of Buu shown throughout the third saga of the series. Here's the final one, and easily the most destructive: Kid Buu. He's up against Broly, a cosmic destroyer of Saiyan origins.
Bardock or King Vegeta?

Supreme Kai and Kibito both come from a distant land, though one quite familiar in nature. We're talking about the divine world of the Kais, of course - the gods of the cosmos. Kibito does not hold that title, unfortunately, but Supreme Kai does.
Zarbon or Dodoria?
Zarbon and Dodoria are two early DBZ villains who were introduced during the Namek Saga. Hopefully you didn't get too attached to them, since they ended up meeting their end not long after they were introduced. Which is your favorite?
Dende or Nail?
Look at these two green people over here. Well, we probably shouldn't call them that. Anyway, Dende and Nail are, of course, our two beloved Nameks who helped our heroes defeat Frieza. If you had to pick a fave, which you do, which would it be?
Uub or Gotenks?
Uub is the reincarnation of Kid Buu, a dearly departed villain who, thankfully, didn't have his enormous power go completely to waste when he was eviscerated into a million pieces by Goku. Gotenks also kept his power, when he exists as a fusion, of course.
Captain Ginyu or Grand Elder Guru?
Captain Ginyu is powering up, and he looks like he's ready to make a dash straight for Grand Elder Guru. Too bad the old man can't get up to defend himself. However, something tells us he's not out of the fight just yet. Which Namek character is your favorite?
Shenron or Porunga?
If you could have one wish come true, no matter what it was, what would it be? You know what, save it. We don't really care. All we want to know here is which DBZ dragon is your favorite. You can only choose one, of course.
Garlic Jr. or Android 16?
Garlic Jr. might be small, but he's smart and always up to no good. Also, his pint size is only a temporary thing; once he achieves his true form, he's very tall, big and strong. But, those are words we could use to describe Android 16, even if he does have a busted head.
Dabura or Yakon?
Dabura is evil, and he's surely thinking of unleashing some form of evil here. Yakon can be described the same way, though his evil takes on a more chaotic form. Which of these hellish DBZ villains do you like best?
Saibaman or Cell Jr.?
Saibaman is angry, and when it's angry in battle it unleashes deadly acid from the top of its head. Don't ask us what biology is responsible for this. However, Cell Jr. might not even need those gimmicks, what with its immense power level.
Emperor Pilaf or Fortunteller Baba?
Emperor Pilaf and Fortuneteller Baba are two old school DBZ characters who have been with us since the early days of this great story. Now that they've met again near the end of our quiz here, which would you say is your favorite? Let's see.
