By stating that age is nothing more than a label, they're free to do things that may seem older or younger in the eyes of society. From the outside, it seems like a pretty silly excuse. However, this particular statement holds a lot more merit than most think.

Physical age definitely matters, since our bodies and physiologies change over time. However, our "mental age" can be very different from how old we really are. When it comes to the mind, age really is just another number. You can be 55 and fell like you're 10 years old, or be 15 and feel like you've matured to 30. There are a wide array of personalities in this world, each with their own unique mental age.
