Do You Know Which GOT Characters Made It Through Season 7?

Though the epic fantasy saga that is Game of Thrones has been through many, many changes since it first premiered on HBO in 2011, there is one quote that the character of Cersei Lannister said all the way back in season one, that still defines the show to this day: "When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground."

Back in those early days, when this now-famous adaptation of the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by George R. R. Martin hadn't yet become the biggest series on TV, we had no idea just how right Cersei was. If there is one quality that has defined the narrative of Game of Thrones, it has been the show's willingness to have fatalities. Every character is always at risk. It doesn't matter how much you love them, or how important they might seem to the narrative. Anyone could die, at any moment. Every person who vies for the Iron Throne is only one step away from a knife in the back.

As Game of Thrones ramps up for its upcoming eight season, countless beloved characters have already died along the way. Before the show comes back, now is your chance to refresh your memory, and see if you remember exactly which characters are still alive... and which ones have felt the sharp end of the blade. Are These Game of Thrones Characters Alive or Dead?
