Do You Know The Secret Identities Of These DC Heroes?

It’s the oldest entry in the book of superhero fiction tropes: the hero’s secret identity. In order to keep their loved ones safe, the costumed vigilante typically keeps their everyday lives a secret to the wider world so that their enemies can’t track them down. And also, you know, just so they can have some time off.

While the hero is the one that gets all the attention, some superhero secret identities become just as iconic on their own. For instance, anyone reading this will know that Batman is really billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne or that Superman and Clark Kent are one and the same. For most heroes, though, only a diehard fan can match the hero’s real name to their crime-fighting non-de-plume and vice versa.

But are you a DC diehard? In this quiz, you’ll be tested on how well you know the secret identities of the heroes of the DC universe, everyone from the most known names to some lesser-known, cult favourites. Who is Supergirl when she's just a mild-mannered reporter? How about the name of the boy who becomes Shazam?
