Do You Have What It Takes To Beat The Ultimate Mind-Bending Challenge?

We've given you a lot of random quizzes related to a lot of random things, but we're going overboard this time by giving you our most random and hilarious quiz yet. We're going to throw two or more sets of completely random things at you; all you have to do is tell us which set of things weighs the most.

Things will start out somewhat easy, but before long we're going to bring out the artillery...and probably put them up against elephants or something, so elephants might finally have a chance to win a battle against them. But we digress. Oh yes, the questions will get so tricky that we might just blow your mind (in a good way).

You see, this quiz will challenge both your analytical and creative thinking skills, and even put your math skills to the test, as you try to come up with a weight for the objects in question and then use math to reach the final total. Or you could just totally guess and forget about trying to build new neural pathways in your brain; whatever, it's up to you. We do hope that you have fun taking this quiz, no matter how you play it.

So what are you waiting for? The quiz has to be more fun than reading this spiel (one can only hope). Get to it and good luck!

Question 1

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Our first battle of the bulge will get your mouth watering, as we pit two of the premier chocolate snacks in the world against each other. On the one hand we have 1,000 bubbly Aero bars, while on the other hand we have 5,000 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (5,000 individual cups, not 5,000 packages). Given that standard packages come with 3 peanut butter cups, they have the size advantage at about 1,666 packages. Can Aero bars outweigh them nonetheless? Which weighs more?

Question 2

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

It's ponies versus peas in this next battle, because, well, why not? Every kid wanted a pony decades ago, before cooler things like the PlayStation 4 and iPad were created. On the other hand, no kid wanted peas, because they're gross and annoying to try and shovel into your mouth, no matter what utensil you try using. Ponies are rather sturdy little animals, but can they handle that many cans filled to the brim with disgusting peas? Which weighs more?

Question 3

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We'll test your knowledge of liquid weight with this mind-bending challenge, as 10 355ml cans of Coke square off against 200 empty 355ml cans. We really shouldn't have drank that many cans of coke, as they have far too much sugar and are often the poster child for the current obesity epidemic. But we're nothing if not dedicated, and we refused to just dump them all down the drain, as that would be wasteful (good excuse right?). So, 200 cans went down the hatch and gut rot ensued. Now then, do those empties weigh more than the remaining 10 full cans?

Question 4

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson faced many fearsome opponents during his time in the WWE, but surely none so terrifying as the 900 average-sized bags of carrots he has to tackle in this weight challenge. That's why we're cloning The Rock so there are 5 of him (no, we won't clone you, so don't bother asking). As anyone following his Instagram knows, Dwayne Johnson is a gigantic freak of nature, so 5 of him looks like a stiff test for any challenger. But we're bringing the heat (or at least the vitamin A) with 900 bags of carrots. Which weighs more?

Question 5

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Our next battle pits 430 Garmin Vivofit Activity Trackers up against 50 Black+Decker 4-Slice Toasters. These toasters come with extra-wide slots so you can fit your fat slices of bread in there, or even a bagel. Meanwhile, the activity tracker starts cussing you out when it realizes you just ate a bagel, and forces you to run 10 miles to make up for it. Then it tells you that you overdid it and shouldn't have run that far. Then when you try to tell it that it was the one that told you to do that in the first place, it tells you that you're being cranky and need to have a nap now. The gall of those things! Which weighs more?

Question 6

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Next up is the important ideological battle between physical books and digital ones, as 100 average-sized paperback books battle 10 Amazon Kindle Paperwhites loaded with 10,000 books each. It's tough to argue against the convenience of Amazon's Kindle, given the plethora of cheap or even free books available for it. However, while many predicted the inevitable demise of physical books, they continue to appeal to many readers thanks to how they stimulate the senses through touch and smell. But, which one of these combatants weighs more?

Question 7

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Our next challenge sees 10 FlashForge 3D Printer Creator Pros go up against 165 6-Packs of SpongeTowels Ultra Paper Towels. This version of the Printer Creator Pro comes with a metal frame, in contrast to the wood frame of prior versions. The paper towels are, well, paper towels. What more do you need to know? OK, they're 2-ply, does that help? They also come with a handy choose-a-size feature, for when you want less than a full towel but are too lazy to just rip it yourself. How would we survive without these ingenious advances in paper towels? What a time to be alive! Which weighs more?

Question 8

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Our next battle pits washing machines against socks, in an epic reimagining of the daily battles these two foes wage against each other. Socks are without a doubt the bane of washing machines, often being the filthiest things thrown in them and doing everything they can to avoid the washer's waves of cleansing water by sticking to and hiding amongst the other clothes. Can 7 GE washing machines squash 1,000 pairs of men's dress socks? Or will the socks smother them?

Question 9

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Our next battle would make for one very lopsided accident, as we pit 25 Tesla Model S's against three of Russia's T-72 battle tanks. You could drive Teslas into those tanks all day and would nary leave a scratch on them, but could 25 of them actually match 3 tanks in weight? These are tanks we're talking about, and the Model S isn't exactly a heavy vehicle, having been designed to be as lightweight as possible to ensure the most distance on a single charge. Surely 8.333333333 Model S's can't equal a tank's weight...? Or can they...?

Question 10

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

On the surface, this battle is one of the simplest yet, as we're giving you the exact same quantities of both substances: a cup of diamonds and a cup of bituminous coal. However, that also makes it somewhat challenging, as there's no real opportunity to reason your way to the answer: you either know which of them weighs more, or you don't. Diamond is known as one of the hardest materials in the world, but does that mean it's one of the densest and therefore one of the heaviest? Hmm...

Question 11

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Our next battle sees 25,000 Magic the Gathering cards try to tap into their mana to wipe out 250 100ml Bottles of BURBERRY London for Women Eau de Parfum (which are way too damn expensive). You'd be able to build a pretty impressive deck from that many Magic cards, even an impressive white mana deck, which is almost impossible to do. The cards even have a nice smell to them; perfume makers, you may be missing out on a big untapped MtG-scented perfume market. MtG cards vs. perfume, which wins?

Question 12

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

In case you're starting to stress out from all of these mind-bending challenges, we think we have the perfect solution. Fidget devices, and lots of them! Imagine 10,000 YIMEIXIN Gold Snitch Fidget Hand Spinner Toys all spinning away in unison; doesn't it just calm the senses? Or what about having 5,000 FidgetPro De-Stress Fidget Cubes? So many buttons to hit and things to fiddle with! Can't you feel your worries just melting away? So relaxing...OK, enough peaceful daydreaming: which weighs more?

Question 13

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Next up is the battle for your eyeballs, as we bust out 25 Vizio 32-Inch 1080p LED Smart TVs on one side, to face off against 5 LG 60-Inch 1080p Plasma TVs on the other side. This battle looks rather lopsided at first glance, as giant plasma TVs are known for being brutes, while the smaller LED TVs are relatively lightweight. But, are they lightweight enough that five of them still can't match one 60-inch plasma? That's for you to decide.

Question 14

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We come to the epic battle you've all been waiting for: elephants versus artillery. On one side we have 3 majestic adult male African Bush Elephants. On the other...13 terrible Model 1857 12-Pounder Napoleon Field Guns. Don't be fooled by the latter's name; they are not 12 pounds. Rather, they fired 12-pound shells and were used extensively during the American Civil War, when America's circus elephants tried storming the White House to win their freedom (or something like that; we're not history buffs). They lost that battle, but can they win this one?

Question 15

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Simmons' mattresses carry some rather bold names, including Beautyrest and Perfect Sleep. It's the latter mattresses we're going to take aim at in this challenge, as we put 10 of them up against a sure disruptor of sleep, perfect or otherwise: 20 Jean Paul USA TR-330 Trumpets. While some people may go to sleep with the soothing sounds of a symphony playing in the background (we prefer the sound of falling rain ourselves), 20 blaring trumpets probably isn't a recipe for peaceful dreams. But, they can also outweigh the mattresses?

Question 16

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Mars has often been depicted as our gravest enemy in science fiction cinema and literature, one which we of course triumph over every time, because we are biased. But hey, the Martians probably have their own propaganda films where they beat Earth every time, so it's all good. Now then, how about we beat Mars again? The mass of 2 Earths up against the mass of 9 Mars. Cast your vote and revel in another Earth win. We're number one! We're number one! Woooooo! Earth! Earth! Earth!

Question 17

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Our next challenge harkens back to the halcyon days when people would make their own clothes, like, with yarn and stuff. The feeling of accomplishment one must have gotten from spending 18 hours to make a big ugly sweater can't be overstated. In this battle, we're putting 4 SINGER 7258 Stylist Award-Winning 100-Stitch Computerized Sewing Machines up against 860 balls of yarn measuring 100m in length each. Is it enough yarn to swamp the sewing machines, or will they triumph and turn the yarn into doggie clothes?

Question 18

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We come to a tragic battle, as avocados are forced to face their evolved forms, guacamole. It's actually the guacamole that requested this battle, as they're tired of everyone raving about avocados being a super food, while they've been left on the sidelines, stripped of their former popularity as dips. Here to defend their honor are 100 Jars of Ortega Guacamole-Style Dip, which will face off against 150 average-sized California Hass avocados. Which side gets squashed into a green paste?

Question 19

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We head to the baseball diamond next, for a clash between baseballs and the bats that routinely smash them. Oh, baseballs get their licks in now and again, breaking bats into glorious splinters of wood. But more often than not, it's the bats having the final laugh, especially when they're wielded by sluggers like Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge, who routinely send balls screaming into the night sky. For this battle, 450 baseballs are being chucked at 50 baseball bats. And the winner is?

Question 20

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Next up is an amazing life-sized replica of the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones, which was being sold by HBO for $30,000. The chair was constructed of fiberglass and stood over 7 feet tall. Arrayed against the Iron Throne replica are 50 Rio Pacific Blue Hi-Boy Beach Chairs. Can the might of the Iron Throne, albeit a fake replica one that isn't actually made from a thousand melted down swords, crush the upstart beach chairs under its fiberglass fist?

Question 21

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

3 Large Vega Helmet X888 Full Face Helmets go up against 2,500 full-sized marshmallows in our next battle. Those marshmallows could probably fill 100 helmets with their sticky, fluffy goodness, but can they outweigh 3 of them? If you're wise to the ways of nutritional information, we'll give you a little hint here that should help you out: each marshmallow has 25 calories and they're mostly all from carbs/sugar (you really shouldn't eat too many of them, despite that fluffy goodness). So, which weighs more?

Question 22

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Next up we have the bane of all cats, the one thing they can never catch: laser lights. And not just 1, but 150 of them. The PetSafe Bolt Laser Interactive Cat Toys have an automatic mode that runs for 15 minutes, shooting laser light in random directions, sending your cat in random directions after it. They'll try to incinerate 10 Vintiquewise Antique Style Steamer Trunks, which cats would probably enjoy playing in as well (is there anything they can't get enjoyment out of?). And the winner is...

Question 23

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

You undoubtedly know the lyrics to 12 Days of Christmas, in which a lucky (?) person gets a bunch of bizarre gifts from their "true love", who might be clinically insane. The first of those gifts are a partridge (in a pear tree) and two turtle doves. But do you know which of those two gifts weighs more? That important, burning question will be answered in this challenge, as a male gray partridge faces 2 male European turtle doves. Which bird wins the bout?

Question 24

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We next head to the links, where we put 5 16-piece men's golf sets up against 10 pressure cookers (don't ask why the pressure cookers are on a golf course). The golf set includes a bag, 11 clubs and 4 headcovers (hats for bats; or golf clubs), while the 7-in-1 pressure cooker has a stainless steel exterior, lid, and inner pot, and way too many buttons on the front. Will the clubs get cooked, or smash those pressure cookers into smithereens?

Question 25

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

Drones are all the rage right now (and making a lot of people rage, when they fly over their backyards), so let's see how 100 DJI Mavic Pro Drones compare against 50 WLCN Magnetic Levitating Globes. The latter looks rather stunning when set up, as the 6-inch globe floats in the air above its base thanks to the power of magnetism. The $1,400 drone is rather small, as it's capable of being folded up into the size of a water bottle, yet can stream video in full 1080p HD. Which is heavier?

Question 26

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We're really going off the deep end with this challenge, as we throw fictional dragons from the Dungeons & Dragons setting against extinct dinosaurs. Of course the dragons would win an actual battle between the two, as they'd simply fly around and nuke the T-Rexs with their fire breath. Luckily for the T-Rexs, brass dragons are relatively benign creatures that seem to prefer "eating" dew drops over anything else (I guess they just lick a lot of grass or something). Dragons vs. Dinosaurs: who wins?

Question 27

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

10 Archer KBASSS3 Sulton Signature Series Black Electric Bass Guitars try to take down 1,000 standard-edition copies of Fallout 4 for the PlayStation 4 in this next battle. Fallout 4 appears poised to become developer Bethesda's most successful game ever, even breaking Grand Theft Auto V's record for the most concurrent players online. Meanwhile, the Archer electric guitars have necks made of Canadian hard maple, which is a travesty, as those trees could've produced delicious maple syrup instead. But, eh, the sounds they produce are kind of delicious in their own right, so we'll forgive them. Which weighs more?

Question 28

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

It's walk or ride in this challenge, as 5 2007 Polaris X2 500 EFIs come up against 2,500 crocs Men's 12132 Classic RT Clogs. The Polaris X2 500 EFI comes with a 4-stroke engine, a continuously variable transmission, and hydraulic disc brakes. Who knows what any of that means, but it sounds impressive. The clogs on the other hand are, well, hideous. It's hard to imagine any situation where these disastrous foot covers would do anything but cause people to get sick and vomit all over them, which wouldn't really make them look any worse. Which weighs more (don't factor in the vomit on the clogs)?

Question 29

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

This is our most lopsided battle yet, as mere raindrops (though 100 billion of them) have to try and take down 25 Golden Gate Bridges. Surely it would take gazillions and kajillions of raindrops to come even close to weighing as much as 25 Golden Gate Bridges right? These are raindrops we're talking about after all, not drops of adamantite. Of course, it's possible that the Golden Gate Bridge is actually made of magic cheese that weighs very little (or not). Raindrops vs. bridges, which wins?

Question 30

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We now turn our attention to fish and the rods used to catch them, as it's 10 Atlantic Salmon versus 10 Daiwa WLDR701MR Wilderness 7' Downrigger Trolling Rods in this challenge. Don't ask us why fishermen feel the need to troll fish with trolling rods; just seems kind of immature. Isn't it enough for you to yank them from their watery abode, cut them up, fry them, and eat them? Do you really have to troll them too? I guess whatever floats your boat. Which weighs more?

Question 31

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

It's nearly back to school time (sorry kiddos), so what better way to celebrate than by putting pen against paper in a battle for classroom bragging rights. We have 1,000 standard-sized pieces of paper on one side, while on the other we have the pens used to defile them: 750 Bic Crystal ballpoint pens. Being more compact, pens certainly give off the feeling of being quite a bit heavier than paper, but the difference is not quite as wide as one might think. But are 250 extra pieces of paper enough to overcome the pens' added weight? Which is heavier?

Question 32

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

It's elevators versus escalators in this challenge, as we pit two of the prime methods of transporting people up or down floors (the other being to shoot them out of a cannon, but we've already used cannons) against each other. Note that we are only considering the weight of the elevator car, while for the escalators we are using the entire structure, as there's no individual part we could single out for analysis that would make much sense on its own. Which contraption wins the battle?

Question 33

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We've come to our final challenge, and boy is it a doozy. Actually, it's more ironic than anything else, as we put two different weight scales against each other. The first is your typical bathroom scale, while the second is your typical kitchen scale, designed for weighing far more delicate things, like strawberries and weed...um, we mean weeds...of...celery? And yes, we used the scales to weigh themselves; good thing we bought so many (we needed them all to weigh the Statue of Liberty after all). Which scale wins the final battle?

Question 34

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We have a challenge that would pique the Rain Man's interest next (and of course he would know the answer), as 246 toothpicks square off against a pair of Kmart underwear. Raymond loved his Kmart underwear, insisting that brother Charlie take him back to Cincinnati to get a pair. It was during that road trip that Raymond also instantly counted the number of toothpicks that had fallen out of a box: 246 in all. Now then, do your best Raymond imitation and tell us which weighs more.

Question 35

Which of These Sets of Things Weighs More?

We turn our attention upwards next, as we compare the CN Tower in Toronto, formerly the tallest structure in the world, to the Statue of Liberty in New York, long a beacon of hope for those making the journey across the Atlantic to America. While the Statue of Liberty is relatively big, it's nowhere near the size of the CN Tower, which can be seen from as far away as Niagara Falls on clear days. It's also hollow (the Statue of Liberty that is). So, we weighed 700 Statues of Liberty (we bought a lot of scales) and put them up against just a pair of CN Towers. Which weighs more?
