In the year 1950, the original animated Cinderella movie was released. Even now, so many years later, the movie is still beloved and cherished by a lot of people. In fact, many different companies have recreated the story over the years to update the way younger generations are able to view it. In 1997, a live-action version of the movie was released with an actress named Brandy in the leading role. In 1998, Ever After: A Cinderella Story was released with Drew Barrymore in the leading role.
In 2004, Ella Enchanted was released starring Anne Hathaway and in that same year, A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff came out. Selena Gomez starred in the leading role of Another Cinderella Story in 2008, and in 2011, Lucy Hale took on the role in A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song. In 2002, we got Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and in 2007, we got Cinderella III: A Twist in Time. These two sequels continued the animated story of Cinderella beyond what we first saw in the 1950 film!
